first story left much to be desired, . . Thank gosh I decided to persevere through the first story and read the rest of the stories! I did not like the first story at all, it was pretty weird.
. . didn't flow that well, made no utter sense relationship development wise and was speckled with errors, The rest of the anthology was amazing though,

This one was adorable, I like how sassy KatieKat is!

He made the mistake of turning around and looking at Katie, She was staring at him with a look he hadn't seen in two years, at least, It was vulnerable and sweet and enchanting, She was looking up at him like he was her hero, her eagle in shining armor, His damn bird squawked in response, ruffling his feathers and putting on a show, and instintively, Arnaud reacted by standing a little straighter and puffing out his chest a bit.



Tiger by the Tail
I absolutely love Jessica Sim's shifter romances! And I just realised she is also Jessica Clare as well, all the more to love her! Adrian is hella bloody hot.
Damn. Sexy and a tease!

For Marina Maddix fans, this includes the first story in her new shifter series, What an awesome set this really is, This anthology was an absolute delight to read, I loved each and every story, the authors all put a unique spin on their stories that kept me turning the pages,

From the moment, I started reading this story I was snorting, Poor Paprika Lewis is a rabbit shifter who is in love with Dr, Thor Melton a bear shifter who just happens to be her dentist, Not only are these two not good at discussing how they feel for one another, Paprika “Rika” has one of the funniest dysfunctional families I have read, Her mom and sister had me rolling,

This story is all about pushing your comfort zone and going after what you really want, Rika wants Thor even if he is shy and not good at expressing himself, She takes a leap of faith and goes after the man she loves,

When Rika arrives at Jamesburg she just thought she knew crazy, The shifters and people of Jamesburg had be laughing until I had tears,

Author Lynn Red did a fantastic job at bring the world she wrote to life, I kind of want to visit Jamesburg and meet some of the funny and unusual characters Rika meets when she looks for Thor,

To Screech His Own by Marina Maddix

Anytime I get to read about new shifters I get excited, Author Marina Maddix fills this story with shifters of all shapes and sizes, The island of Haven was crated for shifters to sit back and relax no matter their age, shapes, or sizes, This was a fun read I absolutely adored,

This story has a little bit of everything in it, a sassy lead, a hot sexy shifter, action, and a little mystery,

Katie OMeghan lands her dream job, She is the events coordinator at Haven, Her inner housecat and she could not be happier, That is until one of her coworkers goes after her and the sexy eagle shifter Arnaud saves her,

Too bad she cannot give into her desires for this man,

This story has many layers, One being that Arnaud lost his mate already and eagles normally mate for life, I loved watching him work through his loss and curiously about the sweet Katie,

This was my first story to read by Marina Maddix and I cannot wait to read more of her stories, It was fun, creative, and left me smiling,

This story would make a great introduction too many short stories revolving around Haven,

Tiger by the Tail by Jessica Sims

This story really grabbed my attention from the moment I started reading it, Everything about this story intrigued me, Finally someone wrote a story where the person who was changed did not ask for it and had to deal with the consequences of someone elses impulse.
And to make it worse, the one that changed you realizes they dont want you for their mate because your

are mad they changed you!

Mandys character was strong and independent.
She was not happy she was changed and forced to live on the compound with the others, She hated it. No one listened to her or asked her opinion, But when Adrian offers to take her in and make her understand why things are going to be they both realize things about the other one.


When Mandy changes and moves around the compound hunting and playing I was smiling at how Adrian would keep her in line with little love bites.
He cared for her more that she realized, He wanted her because she was his equal not because he could,

Adrian loved how strong willed Mandy was and he knew he did not have to force her to do anything, And the fact that he honestly wanted what was best for Mandy, He listed to her and tried to find compromises when he could,

I would love for Author Jessica Sims to write more of Adrian and Mandy in the future, Having them show the others that they are strong together would be fantastic,

This story was great! It had hot sexy shifters, mystery, and a sassy leading lady that kept everyone in line.


Jena a wolverine shifter hated flying and ends up between to beast of men who just happens to be bear shifters, They are all instantly drawn to one another but she denies her feeling at first,

Matt and Jack are both Alpha's, But I loved how one was very strong while one had a past Jenna could relate to, She needed them both and they complemented her perfectly,

But it is hard to deny them any longer when their plane crashes and she is stranded with them, Saying these two are protective of her when others upset her is an understatement,

Watching Jena with Matt and Jack was fun, Those men loved her and only want the best for her, I wont give away the good stuff but I will say this was one of my favorites, It was fun, hot, and full of sass and mystery,

I am saying a little prayer that author Flora Dare will continue this story one day, There is so much she could do with this story to make it a full novel,

Waking Up Were by Celia Kyle

From the first few lines I knew I was going to fall in love with this story.
It was well written and thought out, I absolutely adore Celia Kyles stories and characters, I was in stitches from what all Brenna would think or say out loud, She was not accepting that a werewolf bit her,

Declan Ross hot alpha of the Swan Mountain werewolf pack was so damn HOT! I loved his mine bit even when Brenna Davis lines his butt out and lets him know that she will not put up with it.
Declan does not put up with anyones crap, So when he heads off to handle what he thinks is another close call the rouge werewolf he was not prepared to find his mate.


Declan and Brenna have been close friends for years, both secretly crushing on the other but neither pursuing it, Declan would not risk her not taking the change well and her thinking he was out of her league,

One of my favorite parts of this story besides HOT Declan was how Brennas change happened and what all went down, It as creative, detailed, and had me glued to my Kindle,

If you have not read anything by Author Celia Kyle this is a great story to see her creativity, sassy spunk, and how she write characters you will fall in love with.
I am always sad when I finish one of her stories, It is never enough. A Great read! don't miss out on this awesomely funny, simply romantic, hot and steamy, paranormal romance collection, the stories are long enough for a quick fix of fun and not only did I enjoy each story but I've found new authors I'd like to add to my reading list.

I totally recommend this box set! This is a shapeshifter romance with a lot of laughter, This is five short stories by some wonderful authors, Celia Kyle drew my attention of course, . . I so love her. I recommend this for adults only, there is some steamy scenes in these novellas, I simply love how all the women in these books are full of spunk and the men complement them, From Hummingbirds to Wolves these novellas have any animal you would want to read about,

Wasn't expecting a little menage triage' in this package but it was a good surprise, Out of Matt and Jack, Matt is the calmer one the one with the magic touch to calm your a down, "just close your eyes, we're fine.
You're amazing. " As she drifted away, she thought she heard Matt say, "And you're ours. " I seriously wanted to be in Jena's shoes a time or two especially the time where she's sandwiched between her men, "Jena woke up in the shelter, wedged between the two men.
It mirrored how she woke up on the plane, Her arms wrapped around Matt and her legs twined around Jack, " Normally I liked shifter stories that are just about werecats or werewolves but I'm seeing that werebears are a lot more cuddly and I'm liking that.

I really try not to say what my favorite novella is out of an anthology but one always jumps out and this one decided to jump out and give me a smack in the face.
Declan at times he is more animal than his human side and for some reason that really turns me on in a story, "his animal didn't give a damn how their mate came to be a wold on Swan Mountain.
Nope, it just wanted her to come, Several times. " Like any other male Declan is cocky, "baby, that's your wolf telling you it'd be a good idea to get to know me better, Naked. " Sometimes a girl has to put her foot down on the naughty times, you know for the soreness and all, "no, not a minute, I swear you can eff me from" She glanced at the clock and noted the time,a, m. "You can bang me from nine to noon and then again from one to six, ".
