I really didn't like the writing in this one, The author wrote like she was speaking the story instead of writing it, Plus, the dialogue was pretty bad the characters sounded kinda ghetto, I couldn't get into the story, The characters acted like they hated each other in the beginning with the h acting really bitchy, Then they suddenly care about each other and are sugary sweet, Everything was too OTT. Would have beenbut book needs an editor, This is the full story of Michael and Sarah Vitale from "In For A Surprise", and how it all began.


Sarah and Michael meet for the first time at her aunt's party and the tension could be cut with a knife.
The attraction is high between them however, there are obstacles in their way,
Michael was born on the streets of Sicily and grew to make something of himself, Until Sarah Owen entered his life he thought he was doomed to sparse bed partners and no true happiness, Now he wants it all, the house, the career, and most importantly the family, and Sarah the key to making it happen.
Ok so I finally found this book and it was a real disappointing read for me, It was a cute story at first but then it turned gross, It was mostly sex and talking about sex when the first part was a story about two people meeting and falling for each other.

Heroine has had her fiancéboyfriend and he had his chick and they continued with this off and on relationship the whole book long.

They are faithful to each other after they start seeing each other however, After they have sex they are faithful,
However, the OM and OW drama was way way too much for me here,
They base their relationship on sex and they need more then that for me,
He tell her about his history in one short chapter and that's it,
She tells him only a little about her exlover,
It just left me feeling grossed out and I don't like when OM was talking about how lousy the Heroine is in bed and what they have done with her good friend and others.
Wow girl and you slept with that ASS!
Forwhole years! How lame are you! He keeps cheating on you and you take him back! Where is your self respect! This is the Ex not the hero here

He is faithful and sweet and great to the heroine, He just wanted to love and protect her, He is possessive and loving and I just wished he had found a better woman to be with,
I just could not warm up to her,
Not for me at all, Sorry I ever read this one, Usually I am not one to get picky about grammar etc but this book really needs an editor so it lost a star.
This was recently rereleased. Does anyone know of any of her other books are characters from this story,stars. I'll review it tomorrow. I really enjoy knowing more about Michael and Sarah, this was a great story full of sexy scenes and one hot alpha male
the dialogue just felt force at times but can't wait for next book by this author Mehhh this was an okay read.
H and h have a disastrous first meeting but are instantly attracted to each other, Both are seeing other people and h still stays with her bf for another little while before they meet again.
The whole story was dragged out especially since they got together pretty early in the book and had no major fall outs.
I found I was actually more interested in Stacey and Ryan's story! Self note:
Editor needed! I loved this book, Michael was absolutely adorable amp I loved him amp Sarah together.
He was such a total sexy Alpha badass especially when he was speaking Italian amp I couldn't get enough of him.
Michael Vitale grew up homeless on the streets of Sicily, eating out of dumpsters until he was taken in amp adopted by Lucia amp Pietro Vitale.
He came to America for College amp became

a very rich amp successful businessman, Sarah is dating Jason but there is no real spark to their relationship, She meets Michael at her Aunt's birthday party amp even though they are both with different people they can't keep their eyes off each other.
Sarah finds out her boyfriend is cheating on her amp she dumps him, She takes a temporary job as Michael's personal assistant amp that's when the sparks really start to fly, Michael never thought he would meet his soul mate but now that he has he will do anything to make Sarah his, permanently.

I really enjoy the Alpha Males in her stories, . The editing and paragraphing could use a little work, Also the POV CHANGES can get a little confusing but I still love the story lines, This gets a rating lower than I wanted to give based purely on editing, Story had tremdous promise, but I was to confused about which character was speaking and to whom to stay invested in the story.
