Catch Prof. Arnold Ehrets Rational Fasting For Physical, Mental And Spiritual Rejuvenation Penned By Arnold Ehret Expressed As Print

first half of the book was enlightening, The rest was a regurgitation of everything said prior, Ehret has some good ideas but came off as a semiraving vegan, Truly, man must return to the Garden of Eden and eat simple, whole foods like fruits, with routine fasting, However, it can't be that simplenor restrictive, and Mother Nature has other tools to help us along the way, What a journey this has been, Inspiring !
Been following a raw fruitarian lifestyle for some time now, and Dr, Arnold's research and insight is exactly what I needed right now,
Brilliant work!

Great idea, terribly outdated and scientifically weak, Credit to Mr. Ehret for making a case for Fasting with reason, not religion, But still, more research needs to be done to add to the case of Fastings implied benefit,

For science related profasting literature I would highly recommend Dr, Mark Mosley

and his BBC program "Eat, Fast, and Live Longer"

Or just tap the source and read up on the studies the University of Birmingham is doing on fasting.
Lastly Mark Sisson is on to something with his Primal Movement, his own brand of the Paleo/"Eat Like A Caveman" lifestyle, He encourages fasting but some claims simply don't have enough science to back them up but some very good perceptions, However take it with a grain of salt The Primal Diet over sells it's uniqueness and undersells it's primary success factor, Much like all the great success diets Atkins, South Beach, and Paleo, They work because they're low in sugar, And to a lesser, but important degree carbs,

The fact remains that fasting has long been a part of our culture, But before it was more a matter of spirituality, not science, Unfortunately solid science on this is woefully underfunded, But so far the discoveries are quite promising and there seems to be beneficiaial, If it please you. Do consider sending Anton Wagenmakers at U of B some lunch money so books with solid research can be published on this growing phenomenon.

One of the best and earliest books on food, dieting and fasting, . .
Great read, and outstanding information,
I have read this book more than Five times and learned something new every time I pick it up,
I would recommend this book to all, but mostly to people with knowledge of self,
If you have hypertension or diabetes read this book, if you want to increase muscle and decrease body fat, read this book,
The book is a seven star read, but amazon only has a rating for five or I would have put seven for this particular book.
Peace! I really enjoyed this book, I learned a lot of very helpful advice on healthy eating and how to eliminate chronic constipation, The most essential read I've ever come across personally, The formidable affect mucus and toxemias have on our body is perfectly illustrated by Ehret,

I found myself having "oh, that makes so much sense" moments throughout the entire read, The reading for me went by so quickly due to the divine subject matter, Ehret's words were being delivered straight to my soul, Never have I found so much spiritual comfort from a read, Amusing. Although not as funny as the vintage photo on the cover, Short and sweet. Yet very powerful. An eye opener. An interesting approach to health and disease, this book explains many times the fundamental idea that mucus is the main cause of all disease and just how what we consume affects the amount of mucus within our bodies.

A good read, the idea makes a lot of sense and is something practical that can be applied into everyday life, I recommend this book. .
