Yikes! Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read! Another top read in this series, I am awaiting email from the author as these books are now published under Kit Rocha, to announce when I can get the next books in the series.

I'm not sure if it's because it has been too long since I read the last book in the previous series or what, but I felt a bit disconnected from this book.
It was good! I just wish there was more interactions between Grace, Connor, and Mac aside from the one scene, Could be just me though, and if I had reread the other books right before reading this I may not have felt this way, Too short!!!!!!!

No where near enough, I need more Mac and Conner, These books are really great, I love reading about Ashley and Blake as well, Can't wait for the next one!!! Received this book as an ARC with a request for an honest review, This is bookin the next series by Mia Thorne, Grace has been rescued from the pack that had kidnapped her from her home, Now she is with the pack that saved her, Mac and Conner are both strong wolves who have their own issues, This is the beginning of their journey to see if they can mend what is broken and find peace, Love this series/serial. Recommend to all shifter lovers, Looking forward to the next issue, Grace the newest pack member from when we saw her she had join Asheley's pack but she is skittish around men nor does she trust easily except with Blake and Asheley due to the fact they are Mated and hes not a threat to her that he would claim her as his own.
but what does Mac and Connor who stirs thoughts in Graces mind one she things is strong the other who is too sweet but which can win her heart as wel as her wolf.
and will it be the two mentioned or someone else find out by buying this and see how the adventure continues with the next chapter and Grace's story.

As much as I adore Mia, . . sometimes at the ends of her books, Im not really happy with her, Laughs. Mia is one of a few short story writes that I read and love, They are easy to read and has a building story line with enough detail you are able to get to know the characters,

The three most tattered souls reaching out to each other, without I think realizing it, Mac plays the rough, tough Domish male to Connors submissive side, They have always needed each other, Through a tragic past has Mac trying to lock away his feelings, . . He didnt do to bad a job up until Grace,
Connor a wolf that isnt as in touch with himself as he should be, or more so he is, . . he just doesnt think so, For Connor Mac has always been his rock, his calm and strength, Will that change now that Grace is part of the pack
Grace has had a hard time, just being told who and what she is, being taken to another pack to be traded because know one knows how to deal with her.
She doesnt know how to deal with herself except to lash out, She is used to being seen as a danger and uncontrollable, This pack. . can it be her home Can she settle and learn to be one with her wolf, Connor with his sweet as pie self, Mac with his gruff strength, As Graces heat comes, will either Mac or Connor be able to feed her fire,

I so enjoyed this first book in the new series and want the rest of them, . . now! Grinz. Short sweet and oh so hot, I do recommend it. Enjoy.
Defending Their Mate is Graces story, We first met Grace in the Protecting Their Mate series, I loved Grace! She is a bit broken but strong and a survivor even if she doesnt know it, Grace finds herself turning towards Mac knowing that he understands better than either can express, Mac and Connor might be a package deal, at least to start, And boy are they hot together, I loved how Connor is trying all manner of things to make feel at home, Im rooting for Mac right now to win Graces heart and wolf, if he can get past his own hurt, Cant wait for the next book, So good

Oh it's so good, I love the way it continued from the last series, And how it still have you guessing who's going to get the girl, Love it, can't wait to find out what is going to happen next, A brilliant opener book for a series, I always feel a little cheated when the next book in the series isn't available but that's just a personal preference, You have a frightened shewold going into her mating heat, She has males vying for her lust and to mate, Connor guided by Mac, help her out both have feelings for Grace but only one is currently prepared to act on them, It would have beenbut hate waiting, A great start to another set of episodes

This line details how Gracie overcomes her past and tries builds a future with the pack, I love Mia Thorne's writing and will read this whole series just based on part one, which was so so good, Buy them all now, save the hassle of stopping and starting every hour, I enjoyed the story and the characters, I highly recommend you read the first trilogy, Protecting Their Mate, which introduces all the characters, It gives you some great background, You can read these as a standalone but I think you will enjoy it more if you have read the other three books,

Grace was introduced at the end of the last series and is trying to adapt to her new pack, They are so different from the other pack and seem to want her to be happy, She is just frightened of what she might do when cornered, She feels an attraction to two of the pack members, Connor and Mac, but it is not easy for her to truly trust them or herself.
Connor and Mac have their own fears but both want Grace too,

I really liked all the characters, I feel like the author does a great job of developing them and giving you a chance to see what really motivates their actions, You get all three of their points of view and really connect with them, In many ways, they are very much alike, They all fear the attraction and their control, Connor has learned to work with Mac to control his connection to his wolf and the scenes with the three of them are really intense.
Grace is opening up to all of them and I am really looking forward to what is next,
