For some reason, there has been a flooding of stepsibling romance, I understand the intrigue because of that whole forbidden romance aspect, I enjoy reading the forbidden romance trope but sadly Meeting the Step was not the book for me, This book was a bit rushed and short in developing proper character developments,


This book was great, it is very short though, so I was left feeling like I was left hanging, It doesn't quite end on a cliffie per se as you still have so far to go with them so it doesn't hit like a lot of cliffies do.
So far I love Prince Charming and thing this story will be amazing when it's all said and done, Can't wait to see where their journey's take them,

Something about these step sibling novels always intrigue me, I like the whole forbidden aspect of it and how they feel like they can't be together because their parents are together, I know it doesn't sound right nor do people think it's right for step siblings to get together, But in reality, they aren't anything to each other, so why can't they be together right!

Max knows his parents haven't gotten along with each other for a long time and is just waiting for them to drop the bomb that they're getting divorced so when it does happen, he's not surprised at all.
He figured it was just a matter of time before it happened and he's okay with it, But what Max doesn't see coming is that his dad already has someone else when he gets back from NY after visiting his mother and he's not happy about the news he receives.


Chelsea is not a very happy camper knowing that her mother is getting married, She loved their happy little life just her and her mother, But when Max's dad comes in the picture it makes Chelsea a little bit more rebellious,

Max and Chelsea finally meet and Max instantly feels a surge of desire for this girl, He's never felt that before and he feels like he wants to protect her when he sees that's she's being manhandled by her boyfriend, Max comes to the rescue and defends Chelsea from the alcoholic boyfriend and abusive boyfriend that she has, From that moment, Chelsea feels protected and that's something she's never felt before,

Max and Chelsea's chemistry is instant and they want to know each other, experiment with each other, Their only problem and/or concern is what will their parents think

I enjoyed this first installment and I'm actually looking forward to reading the second book.
I love cliffy's because they always leave me intrigued and wondering what is going to happen next, I do want to continue reading this series because I want to know what's going to happen, Are their parents going to approve of them having a relationship Is Chelsea's exboyfriend going to come back in the picture and be a threat to their relationship Talk about some unanswered questions that need to be resolved!

I definitely would recommend this book, it was sweet and short and to the point for the first part of this series.
It may have seemed a bit rushed but we get the jist of it, at least I did!

I'm not quite sure how I feel about this book, I love forbidden romances and stepbrothers are one of my favorite forbidden story but this one I just couldn't really connect with, It started out so slow but yet seemed rushed as well so I couldn't connect with the characters at all till towards the end where I did start to get more of a connection.
Like I say its a hard review for me because it is a short story and part of a series but it just didn't connect with me and was only in the last couple of chapters where I thought hmm this is getting slightly better and then it just ended and your left waiting for the next part.
I will be reading the next installment to see where it goes and I hope I can connect with the characters more then to and I am intrigued to see where their relationship goes too.
This is a hot take on the popular stepsibling romance and I definitely can't wait for more!

Chelsea and Max are about to become stepsiblings, and are not happy about the surprise their parents threw at them.
When Max returns from Christmas break with his mom and his dad drops the bomb that he's getting married he was shocked, but he was more shocked when he gets home and sees that his soon to be step mom and step sister have already moved in.
Chelsea isn't happy with the situation either, and wasn't expecting to be so attracted to her soon to be stepbrother, especially after he saved her from her drunk boyfriend.


These two flirt and things get heated when their parents head out of town for the weekend, Max is used to one night stands, but he definitely doesn't think that Chelsea is that type of girl, and he doesn't want her to be, When things get crazy with her boyfriend Max saves her yet again, and takes her out, That night everything changes for them, and they can't control their feelings for one another any longer,

Just when this book started to get hot it ended, which left me not so happy because I wanted more of these two, and I want to know how everything plays out with Max and Chelsea.
Both are in college and even though they are soon to be "family" it isn't your typical forbidden romance, Both of these characters can't deny their attraction, and I know in the next book/s we will definitely have some drama with these two,

This is a perfect weekend read if you're looking for a quick hot read with a touch of forbidden romance, I can't wait for more Max and Chelsea and will definitely be picking up the next book as soon as it releases! “I had to get her out of my head.

Stars. Yes another step sibling book, Although it did seem slightly rushed, it was a good read, I enjoyed it, the scenes were interesting and exciting, Not at all disappointed by this book,

I told him he was twenty years too late for the whole sibling thing, I hated the thought of her until we met and then I couldn't get her out of my head,

Her: When my mother told me she was going to remarry, I died inside, She moved us to the suburbs in a perfect little neighborhood but I didn't want to be there, I knew my mother's fiancé had a son that was close to my age but I didn't want anything to do with him until he rescued me from my abusive boyfriend.
Somehow with his prince charming good looks he had become my own personal knight in shining armor,

Max and Chelsea are about to be step siblings and while neither one of them are too thrilled theres nothing they can do about it, Max is instantly intrigued with Chelsea after snooping through her room and seeing her pictures and dirty clothes laying about, And this is before theyve even met, After a night out on the town, Max comes home and is surprised when a raised truck pulls into the driveway, After watching Chelsea get out of the truck, clearly upset and arguing with her angry boyfriend Max intervenes, Chelsea embarrassed by what happened heads inside and instantly passes out, The next morning she and Max talk and things escalate from there, I wont go further into detail, but it definitely gets hot, This is a good start to the series, Im just curious to see where this goes from here,

Chelsea is not happy, She hates the new home in the suburbs and the new almost stepbrother, Escpecially when he rescues her from her boyfriend of four years and his drunken anger and heavy hands,

When Max and Chelsea find themselves alone for a few days things begin to develop between them that shouldn't given the upcoming nuptials between their parents.


A quick read that is well paced and hot without being overly gratuitous, A Solid Four Star Read
This is a quick enjoyable read, perfect for your lunch break or any time when you're looking for a quick read, Both of the main characters in this story have a big thing in common, they do not want a stepfamily, The only problem with that is their parents are getting married, When the two end up with time together on their hands though, that's when the story really takes off, It is a bit of a slow starter, but is written so well that you just want t keep going, and it is worth it, The characters were very well created and likable, There is a bit of a cliffhanger ending, and I will definitely be looking out for the next installment in this series, ed as/for Seraphim Book s Liked the fact that they didn't just start having sex withinminutes and all of a sudden she wants to be pregnant with his baby.
Seems like this one will have at least a little bit more of a storyline, Also liked the fact that they had met before at least momentarily, I was going to read the next one right away, but apparently it isn't out yet, I was given a copy in exchange for an honest review,

This book starts out with Max finding out he's dad is going to remarry and that he will be gaining a step sister, He isand doesn't want a sibling, Chelsea feels the same way about her mother remarrying, The night they meet Max saves her from a scary situation, Both of them instantly feel a connection, Where will this go, will they go for it or will they let it go I am looking forward to the next book so we can see how things develop between them.
I liked the author's style of writing, it flows easily and moves right along,

Prince Charming and the Forbidden Fruit

I was worried when I first started the book because by the first couple of pages I was shaking my head however Ash Adams quickly drew me in and I had to read more.
She did a great job laying the ground work for the next book in this series! I was impressed with this short read and am interested in where she will take this story.
