really like BabyLit books!!! A board book to love! I was delighted to receive this book through a Goodreads Giveaway, After raisingdaughters and enjoyinggrandchildren, I've read's of books with a child on my lap, starting when they were babies, This one is perfect! The pages are sturdy, durable, and easy for little ones to handle, History is "taught" with a touch of whimsy and fun, The colors are appropriately muted yet bright enough to catch the eye and note the rich content, I especially love the details included for each letter because I always linger to point out specifics and get the child involved through questions and responses.
We always have fun reading, and I'm excited to see all the BabyLit series offers to inspire children to become lifelong lovers of books, Sorry but I have to take off a star for "X is for eXcalibur" because we're supposed to be teaching the alphabet here, and that word doesn't begin with "x.
" I get that few words DO begin with "x," but this still seems weird, This alphabet primer is presented with a vintage feel to a medieval world, Whether its A for armor or Z for zink, a reed instrument this will be perfect for those toddlers whose parents want to introduce a historical touch to their beginner readers library.
Presented as a board book from the
BabyLit series from Gibbs Smith this is one of several titles introducing historical eras into their everyday reading, Great book There are many thinks to look at and learn in this abc board book, Simple illustrations. Probably for early readers. I won this book through a goodreads giveaway, I was so excited when I received the book in the mail today, I loved the hard pages making it easier for my son to turn the pages, The ABC's are put in a new medieval style in a way my toddler enjoys, Thank you so much for introducing my son to his ABC's in a new and creative way, I can't say enough about how much we are enjoying this book already,
