on Claimed by the Alpha

and dirty read. Short and didnt feel in the same vibe as other books from this author,
I wasnt a fan of Jack the pack Alpha and the lack of choices that Jason had about the blood claim, The so call romance felt rushed and the conclusion of the story was missing something,
Enjoyable

This was an enjoyable M/M paranormal romance, Wellwritten and interesting. Lots of humor and action with very little sex, Many fascinating charactersand/Stars. I always enjoy D. J. Hearts books. They are sexy and fun reads, This one wasnt a favorite but it was enjoyable, Lo ed every. moment

Read, it before but after rereading it really forgot how the story wentnd how, much i enjoyed it lovely story, Really not my kind of brew,

I really liked the book Double Trouble by D, J. Heart, so I thought I would check his other books out, This one seemed to be just my thing , so I'm actually really disappointed,

Slightly spoilerish maybe Read at own risk:

There was nothing of consent in here, The whole time everybody is like: Omg we're so lucky to have such a decent and fair alpha and the whole fucking book he's a gradea asshole to his mate.
Not just being unfair but flat out traumatizing and abusing him, I kept reading because I kept waiting for the point the mating pull would come through and Jason would make him fucking grovel at his feet.
But he's not even mad! Like sure, choke me out while you're too drunk to notice, Never mind totally okay.

Just no. Just ok.

Fans of D, J. Heart will likely enjoy reading but its certainly not the best, A young college student is attacked by a wolf shifter and then saved by the Alpha of a local pack, The story of the relationship between the college student and Alpha unfolds with a HFN end, There are a lot of “pieces” that either dont fit or are not resolved, Actually the entire book felt just a wee bit off, I had to check to make sure this really was written by D, J. Heart. Sexy, intriguing

I like that there was a real story, unlike others I've read, The characters are great and diverse, Jake the sexy alpha. Jason, his mate, newly turned and completely confused at first, Mike the leather wearing Dom second, Riley the Armani wearing enforcer, Sex, humor and of course mystery and intrigue, Worth readingstars

This was okay, but it wasn't as hot and sexy as sitelinkD, J. Heart usually writes. In fact, the sex scenes were mainly fade to black, I liked Jake and Jason, but I really liked Mike, I wish he had gotten his own story, Or even better, I wish this story had continued and ended up with a dynamic like in sitelinkOmega: The Complete Series, my favorite Heart book.
Claimed by the Alpha is a standalone werewolf book with a slowburn that develops into some delicious kinky sex, This book wont be for everyone there are some dubcon moments since Jason was turned into a werewolf by a feral wolf in a horrific attack, but everything smooths out as Jason becomes one with his wolf.
I enjoyed this book and found it fascinating how Jake and Jasons relationship developed and the moral dilemmas they had to figure out together.
Both men were thrust into a situation not of their own making and they had to come up with a workable solution that wouldnt end in tragedy for everyone.
Like always, D. J. Hearts sex scenes were fantastic and extremely hot, I dont think this man can write a bad sex scene, I had a lot of fun reading this book and will definitely reread it in the future, Disgusting and rape.

This story started out fine and somewhat hot, There was a hint of BDSM or even just rough play, A little bit of tension,

And then Jake discovers that Jason is his mate, And immediately his only options are to rape Jason or turn him into a slave with no ability to consent, So he chooses the latter and then proceeds to treat Jason like property instead of a mate, Jason cannot leave. He is a captive. He cant even go shopping for clothes by himself and even is under the control of yet another sadistic alpha as to what clothes are bought.
The part where I stopped reading was when Jake comes home drunk and rapes Jason, He uses the blood claim to completely control Jason, Jason is then magically fine with it He claims Jake in his sleep because he wants to end the blood claim and slavery, But then its like their in love I dont understand, I really hate when rape is justified and the victim is completely ok with, Thats not how life or love works, I was expecting some sort of love story since in the blurb its mentioned “I wanna be your lover”, I feel tricked and deceived yet again by another sadistic rapist author, Jake is an asshole, and I don't care how the author tried to dress it up, he is abusive, I stopped reading at. I like reading about BDSM, but this wasn't it, I was more than a bit disgusted by Jake's thoughts, Claimed By The Alpha

When Jason wakes up bloody and in

severe pain in the park all he remembers is that he was walking his dog.
When he tries to make it home he collapses on the road and is rescued by a huge scary looking man,

When Jake discovers his fated mate almost dead in the park he takes him home to help him heal, He didn't realize the pull to his mate would make him fight every step of taking his mate by force before his wolf was ready or strong enough.

It's a typical story for this author, Very crude, dominant, some bdsm, and some dubcon, The story itself is pretty good, I don't always care for the language used, but I occasionally find a good book among the authors works,

The book is in both Jake amp Jason's POV, There is dubcon and roughness used, This book follows a boy named Jason who got turned by a rogue werewolf and is rescued by the local pack alpha, Jake, Jake realizes that Jason is his mate and, . . well things happen

Honestly, this book was really, really good, I gotta hand it to D, J. Heart, she just makes the one of the best erotic werewolf romance books out there and I can't help but want for more,

Claimed by the Alpha, unlike most of the other books by D, J. Heart, did not have a dark tone/theme to it which I liked, I think I needed a break from all those really deep and dark stuff,

Overall, I'm giving this a.
. Loved the book, loved the characters, and it was hot so it definitely deserves a,or a. Note to self,
Jason is kidnapped by people who want to experiment on him at the end of the book,

Things I liked:
Dual POV
Jake recognizing Jason as his mate quickly
Jake trying to control "his wolf"

Thing I didnt like:
Jake bonding with Jason without Jasons consent or knowledge
When Jake came in to the bedroom drunk Jake, alpha of his territory and a werewolf without peer, does not expect the meek little wolf he rescues off the side of the road to be his mate.
The boy is newly turned, inexperienced, and it will be months before he and his wolf are integrated to the point where the mating instinct will kick in.
. . Jake's wolf has no intention of waiting,

This book was previously published under the pen name of Riley Trent,

“Are you still hungry” Jake didnt think it would be possible for his little wolf to stuff himself further, but you never knew.

“No, Im good, ” Jason had that look from the garden, like he wanted to say something but wasnt quite sure how,

“Yes” Jake prompted,

“What kind of relationship do you want”

Stopping his cleaning he sat down, determined to put all his feelings on the table.

“I want to be your lover, ”

Jason visibly swallowed, looking somewhat like a deer caught in the headlights, Then he pulled himself together,

“And if I dont want that” It was obvious that Jason had fought his wolf in order to get the question past his lips.

Knowing that his reply would be crucial he answered somewhat truthfully,

“Then Ill be your friend until you do, ”

Friends could sleep in the same bed and spend every waking moment together, right
