The climax of the Morgan family adventure was excellent, The intrigue and pace of the story was one of those you hate to put down, Excellent conclusion to the Family Portrait Series, Well done, very captivating, and definitely worth the read, Very good story, allbooks, Highly recommend the series. The firstbooks are historicals, the last is another set of Morgan twins in a present day setting to finish the series, This series made me fall in love with American history! This is the first Cavanaugh book that I have read, I really enjoy his writing style, Its an easy read and it allows you to take some of his elements and think about them while you continue to read, The story line is Christian in nature, which I like, but it seems sometimes that the Bible contained in the story, becomes more important than the people.


Its a good read but its not something you'll want to tell all your friends about, It was definitely suspenseful, though a bit farfetched, Really, how much can one character endure! Despite the fact that I wish Andrew wasn't killed, and the Bible wasn't destroyed, I absolutely loved this book.
