balloons. Amazed at The Red Balloon story this one brings me further,
Gina This comicstripstyle book allows children to practice their colours and describe pictures in
the books, since there are many pictures of Balloonia that do not have words on them.
It's a very comical book that I'm sure any child will appreciate, It's also a great way to start off an activity, For example, a great way to end the school year would be to allow children to write their name and date on a balloon, go out into the playground and let go of the string.
It will be a fun way to bid goodbye to this school year and enter the next! This book got me very excited to get into the classroom as you can tell : Where do balloons go at bedtime Matthew has the answer, but, as usual, his bossy older sister Jessica needs to see the proof.
A fun book that takes the reader on a journey to the imaginary land of Balloonia, I've always remembered this book for it's absolute originality! The concept for this book was great but the illustrations are bad and the main character is horrid, She's very bratty and remains so even at the end, I usually love Audrey Wood but this one wasn't great, This book was great, although apparently my oldest little brother liked it mare than I, A tale of a bratty kid who doesn't want to let go of an experience, and ends up realizing that you've got to let things leave in their time.
a simple, entertaining look at where balloon's actually go when they fly up into the sky, I would say this is a great story to give the little one's who freak out when they lose a balloon to the wind! This book was one of Moms favorites as a kid but it sure was a lot weirder than she remembered and the illustrations are a bit weird too, except for Balloonia which is rad.
Not sure about the message of releasing balloons into the atmosphere to choke fish and so on, Still cool though.
