Secure A Copy The Whispered Kiss Articulated By Marcia Lynn McClure Ready In Digital Version
was a fun retelling on Beauty and the Beast, It was of course clean and I for some reason I loved the name Valor, I think I might tell Moroni that if we ever end up with a boy that this will be his name.
I mean Valor Mills doesn't it have a ring to itGetting in my weekly dose of McClure, Love the brooding, heroic men!
Wow I think this is my favorite retelling of Beauty and the Beast.
Who wouldn't love a good looking beast! I was unable to really sit down and savor this book, due to traveling.
Read pages here and there, I'll have to read it again straight through, as all Marcia books should be read, :o
Five thumbs up, great stuff!!!
Moral Note: Passionate kisses, mild violence, This book is a retelling of Beauty and the Beast with a twist, The "Beast", Valor Lionhardt is very rich and handsome, but his heart has turned to black stone after his proposal of marriage to Coquette de Bellamont is refused by her father.
Three years later, sweet, innocent Coquette is given in marriage to the dark Lord of Roanan to save her father's life or so she thinks.
She soon finds out that her vain father has traded her life for three merchant ships, a manor house, and gold.
Coquette must learn to tame her beast, and Lord Roanan must learn to give up revenge and love again.
I liked this story pretty well, It was inventive and different from other Beauty and the Beast stories, It had
a sweet romance, but not as steamy as Shackles of Honor, Even though it is not my favorite of McClure's books, I still recommend it, She writes clean romance, which I am highly in favor of, I'M SO GLAD I DON'T HAVE THIS IN PRINT YET!, LOOK AT THAT BEAUTIFUL NEW COVER!!!! MUST BUY!:
Really enjoyed this one! It's a retelling of Beauty and the Beast.
Love the angry hero!! Love the trickery! I kept waiting for it to be revealed that he turned into a lion or something, and then when that didn't happen, I was kinda disappointed! But I can't wait to reread it now that I know nothing supernatural actually happens and can just enjoy it for the story it is.
: I really liked this book, It is a sitelinkBeauty and the Beast take off, It totally worked for me, I loved all of the trickery that goes on,

"I must atone," he said, "You can not simply say it is past, Not with such scars carried as proof of it, "
"Scars are but evidence of life," she said, "Evidence of choices to be learned from, . . evidence of wounds wounds inflicted of mistakes wounds we choose to allow the healing of, We likewise choose to see them, that we may not make the same mistakes again, "
"For such wounds to heal forgiveness is required," he said,
One of the points in this book that I really liked, was that both of the characters lost the love of their life.
Yet, one chose to continue to endure, while the other literally became a beast, I love the fact that no one can ever take away our way of thinking,

Marcia Lynn McClure's books always have this effect on me.
I start them feeling perfectly normal, . . and finish them with the world's biggest grin on my face, sniffling over how beautiful love is.
Her books are the best romance novels ever, And a retelling of Beauty amp the Beast What's not to love! With the sea at its side, the beautiful township of Bostchelan was home to manyincluding the lovely Coquette de Bellamont, her three sisters, and beloved father.
In Bostchelan, Coquette knew happiness, and as much contentment as a young woman whose heart had been broken years before could know.
Thus, Coquette dwelt in gladness until the day her father returned from his travels with an astonishing tale to tell.
Antoine de Bellamont returned from his travels by way of Roanan bearing a tale of such great adventure to hardly be believed.
Further, at the center of Antoine's story loomed a manthe dark Lord of Roanan, Known for his cruel nature, heartlessness, and tendency to violence, the Lord of Roanan had accused Antoine de Bellamont of wrong doing and demanded recompense.
Antoine had promised recompense would be paidwith the hand of his youngest daughter in marriage, Thus, Coquette found herself lostthrust onto a dark journey of her own, This journey would find her carried away to Roanan Manordelivered into the hands of the dark and mysterious Lord of Roanan who dominated it.

I enjoyed this book immensely, It was a sweet romance with just enough passion to keep you happy and comfortable, I was impressed with McClure and plan to read more of her books, I would definitely recommend this book to anyone needing a heartwarming love story, This is a Beauty and the Beast retelling, and what a great retelling it is! The Lord of Roanan is not a beast on the outside, but a beast on the inside.
He has become bitter and filled with hate after losing his love, The author did a good job of showing the struggle between beast and man within him, Coquette is beautiful inside and out, She too has lost a love, but chose to continue being the kind and good person that she is, instead of turning to bitterness.
We are able to see a few things in the story from the pov of Victoria and Godfrey, the main servants.
I liked seeing their loyalty to their master and their desire for his happiness, and their willingness to help it happen.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book!,
