This centres around a young woman returning to her home town to take over her parents' guest house, It sets up a lot but with enough story and resolution of it's own as well, In this book we see Robin return to her hometown where her parents want to leave to go abroad to live, leaving their guesthouse business to Robin to run and turn around as business is dire she sets to work with gusto wanting to keep it going.
With her best friend Molly by her side, she also has to face her cheating ex Tim but as a newcomer next door Will, with his dog arrive they may just change Robin's world.

This was a great first part to this story and made me want to read on and discover if the hotel survives, who Robin falls for, what Tim will do to cause trouble and had so much action for only around a hundred pages! A light and easy read.
At times it felt heavy with descriptions that maybe could have been more tightly edited but having said that, I did finish the book.
So for a story to escape with it has something to offer, What a delightful read! Well written and such fun, I didn't realise this was a serialization, what a treat, Can't wait to read the next installment, This is a great introduction to this new series, It is a fun and romantic book, About seaside, friendship, old flames, love, romance, family, and renovating old guest houses,
It had wonderful links to other books that the author has written to which I loved,
When Robins best friend and partner in once a blue moon days events and holiday organising company dies at a young age.
Robin doesn't know how to carry on with the company alone because Neve would be the one to bring in new clients ect,
Robin decides to return home to Campion Bay where her parents own a guest house, Although once there her parents tell her that they cannot keep up with the rat race and have decided to retire aboard, Robin cannot let the guest house where she grew up and has so many memories to go to wreck and ruin and so with the help of some inheritance from her grandmother.
Her friends and parents hard work and determination they update the hotel into a Posh guest house, With each room having its own theme, It sounds heavenly. I would definitely love to stay in statcross and gaze at the, Robin is determined to make it a success for her parents and for Neve,
While being back in Campion brings back lots of memories, It also brings Tim back into her life, Her first love who broke her heart badly when they were younger, Being back in town stirs up feelings between them that she thought were long gone, However Tim is a real estate person who wants to change the landscape of the seaside into expensive holiday let's and shopping villages, Is their reunion all it appears to be on the surface or does Tim have an ulterior motive
Then Will stumbles onto the scene he claims to be a relative of an old friend of Robins family whose house is next door to the guest house.
Will is back in town to make sure that his families house doesn't turn into luxury apartments, But no one has heard of him before and the old lady never mentioned having any grandchildren and no one came to visit, Is Will all he claims to be Or is he just trying to claim inheritance that isn't his
Robin is stuck in a love triangle but who is the right man for her And will the guest house be a success
I am very much looking forward to the next book in this series as I really enjoyed this opening book.
I love books about the sea and guesthouses/restaurants ect so this series is right up my street,
I have already enjoyed lots of books by this author and they always put a smile on my face, Great for fans who love chick lit, romance and contemporary romance, Be sure to check this series out,
Happy reading everyone ,
Enjoyable first part of a new series by this author, I look forward to reading the next instalments as they are released, A really enjoyable, sweet read, I will look out for the next novella in this four part series, Loved this story, but really don't want to buy in instalments why split one story into four parts loved it All reviews can be found on my blog at sitelink wordpress. com
Any book that has the publication date as Christmas Day, is already earning brownie points in my eyes! I preordered this book even before the author had shared her news on social media eagleeyed you see!.
It wasn't until AFTER I preordered it that I released it would be pinging onto my kindle on Christmas Day! Exciting!
I'm sure you're pretty aware by now that I could not wait to get stuck into this book I just hoped my excitement would continue to shout loud and proud.
At first, it took me a little longer than I expected, to get into the storyline and be wooed, There seemed to be a lot of character interaction to begin with, and a little less storyline action itself, However, after pausing Mcdreamy and Meredith Grey on my T, V, the Once In A Blue Moon Guesthouse got my full attention and before I knew it, the book had ended,
Seeing as this is book one of four, it goes without saying that there will be a lot of unanswered questions at this stage in regards to individual characters and their circumstances.
I for one am excited

to get those answers, A couple of the characters in particular, gauged my attention more than others, I won't say who they are just yet as I want to see if that changes throughout the next three books,
Cressida has gotten this series off to a flying start and her eye for detail is outstanding, The way the author described each room in the guesthouse, even down to certain lights, was unbelievable, Such vivid and enchanting descriptions, I really do think those rooms should become painted postcards! After my initial slow start to the book, my heart was rather cosy by the end and I am really looking forward to finding out what happens next!

.out ofCute and fun!
No descriptive sex scenes, but rather a budding romance and a lot of likeable side characters with their own backstories and adventures.
It was a bit too predictable at times, but as I enjoyed the rather down to earth main characters even though the main character used to run a luxury event business she isn't all about champagne and Chanel I didn't mind it much.
Lovely setting, both in the landscape and the Guesthouse, nice community, an all around heart warming "feel good" book!
Extra points from me for a cute dog and a kitten!
Definitely will read more by the same author.
A warm welcome awaitsthe charming new arrival from the No,bestselling author of The Canal Boat Cafe,
Robin Brennan has come home to Campion Bay, Now her parents have retired, shes set to become the new landlady of The Campion Bay Guesthouse,
Bookings have been as thin as the hand towels, and it doesnt take long for Robin to realise that the place needs a serious makeover.
Perhaps throwing herself into the task will help to heal her sadness at the tragic end to her dreams in London,
As she gives the guesthouse a new lease of life, Robin encounters old friends and new, including old flame Tim, whod clearly like to reboot their romance.
But what about Will, the new arrival at No,, whos rocked up with the cutest dog ever
Caught up in a flurry of fullEnglish breakfasts and cream teas, Robins never sure what, or who, the next checkin will bring
This is the first part of a fourpart serial.
