love learning about new things so I was super excited to receive a copy of this book from NetGalley,  

The Art of Distilling is a fairly dense book, despite being short, the paperback version is supposed to bepages.
My digital ARC waspages,   Still I learned a lot! Before reading this book I didn't realize that the Dutch were the first people to make gin, I had assumed it was a British invention.
 

There is a lot of technical jargon that has to do with distilling, so at times I found myself either confused and lost.
Which was annoying but it didn't take away from my reading experience too much, I still really enjoyed learning all about distilling and booze,  

I don't think I would buy this book for myself, but I'm glad to have read it and I would recommend it to people who are interested in learning more about these topics.

The drawings and pictures are great, There are many pictures showing the bottled product with their interesting labels and origins, Even the quality of the paper and print of the book is a cut above the rest, Excellent.
