loved everything about this book except George Carpenter, He's such a slimy bastard,

But seriously, I have so deeply enjoyed following the Scott and Carter families through this series, The stories just get better and I'm so glad Gavin was given a HEA because he truly was not happy at the beginning of his story, Absolutely recommend this book and all the others,Star View With Your Heart Heart Collectionby L B Dunbar

I believe that this book was previously published as Touch Screen, Sensations Collection, I couldnt wait to to find out what L, B. Dunbar had in store for Gavin Scott and Britton McKay,
Gavin left his small town years

ago and had no plans to return until fate plays a part and suddenly he finds himself back home with the possibility of a second chance at love.
I love stories centred in small towns, it has quickly become one of my favourite story lines, add in that Britton is a single mum to her son Gee and I was hooked.

The chemistry between Gavin and Britton sizzles and when they finally gave in to the reignited passion that flares between them it was intense, Sometimes decisions are made that effects the course of your life and ramifications can be extreme,
The story was well written, the characters strong and this was a heartwarming, romantic love story of forgiveness and second chances and one I enjoyed, It was also good to see some familiar faces make an appearance, Touch Screen by LB Dunbar

Holy Wow! Gavin Scott is somkin”!
Gavin and Brittion were high school summer lovers in Elk Rapids where Gavin lived and Brittion visited her uncle each summer of high school.
Afteryears of being in California Gavin returns to his home town for a film festival and sees Brittion with her son Gee, What Gavin doesnt expect is to have the same feelings for her that he had then, especially since he has a girlfriend at home, As the spend time together over the course of the two weeks he his home, secrets of the past are revealed and we are left questioning if the secrets are too much for love to overcome.

I have loved LBs writing from the very beginning and was so excited for this releaseshe did not disappoint, I loved every second of it, We were introduced to the new characters of Gavin and Brittion and were able to check in one our favorites from early stories, It was overall an amazing read and I look forward to more,
AnotherStar read from LB Dunbar, Touch Screen is the forth book in the Sensations Collection but it can be read as a standalone, I highly recommend all of the books in the Sensation Collection, You will not be disappointed,

In Touch Screen we meet Gavin Scott, He left Elk Rapids behind when he left for college, California is his home as he pursues his dream of making movies, He returns to Michigan as his first movie was a featured film of the Traverse City Film Festival, When he returns he sees Britton, his summer love as a teenager, It brings back many memories

"Home Was that the right work for this area I felt like a foreigner here and yet I knew this was still my home somehow.
"

The story is told from Gavin's POV, As Gavin recalls memories of family, friends and summer love he struggles with where home truly is, Highlighted is summer love that does not stand the test of time, However they are given a second chance, Can Gavin and Britton take that second chance and make it work

LB Dunbar does a great job of writing a story set in a small town and making you feel like you are right there with the Scott and Carter family in Elk Rapids.
You will be so invested in the characters that you will cry and laugh right along with them, Jess Carter and Emily Post Sound Advice make a appearance in this book as they get married, It was great to see all of the families come together for many festivities in this book, Along with happiness in this story there will be confusion, secrets revealed and heart ache, Make sure you have the tissues handy,

You won't be disappointed in Touch Screen, The angst will keep you turning the pages to see if Gavin and Britton can have a happy ending,

I received a gift copy in exchange for an honest review, Read and ed for Stories and Swag Blog,

The books in this series keep getting better and better,

I really liked both Gavin and Brit, Their love was sweet and hot, exactly how I like my romances,

The story was anything but simple, There were so many layers as more and more was revealed, Gee was amusing with his silly jokes, and it was great to see he and Gavin bonding,

I was expecting the ending, but it still hit me, As teenagers Gavin and Britton fell in love until he chose to leave his hometown to pursue his dream of playing baseball professionally, An injury changed the direction of his life and years later he finds himself back in his hometown for a film festival but he is about to find out that even though a lot of things have changed that doesnt include his feelings for Britton.

When Gavin left town Brittons plan for the future took a detour and since that time she has endured more than her fair share of loss, She has created a home and business for herself and her son and isnt about to have her heart broken by Gavin for the second time,

The chemistry and connection between them hasnt diminished over time but a secret from the past may derail their future before it really begins,
I love everything about my visits to Elk Lake City, I love meeting new characters as well as catching up with the other residents of this wonderful town.
I was excited for Gavin and Brittons story and it was everything I expected and so much more,
Gavin Scott walked away from the town and Britton to make a career playing baseball but an injury has him going in a different direction and he finds himself back in his hometown, what he didnt expect was Britton to still be there and for the feelings he had for her to come flooding back.

Britton gave up her dream of becoming a dancer, got married and ended up back in Elk Lake City looking after her aunt and uncle, She is struggling to make a new life for her and her son Gee and when Gavin walks back not town it feels like this is the final straw.
. .
This is the final book in the Heart Collection and for me its the perfect story to end this wonderful series on, Its an entertaining read that will touch you on so many levels, I laughed, I cried, I swooned and I sighed as I watched Gavin, Britton and Gee finding the HEA they all deserved.
This author really knows how to give us wonderful small town romances with characters we easily relate and fall in love with so I guess all I need to say is please one click this gem of a read.
Anyone that knows me knows that I absolutely adore LB and anything she writes but as with the movies when you hear that there is ard,th and especially ath sequel you get worried that it will be repetitive and that you won't love it as much as the firstbut that is not the case here.
The way LB weaves her tales is magical, She pulls you in right from the very first chapter, giving the right amount of detail about everything and everyone without going into too much detail as some authors tend to do.
You can honestly envision the the way the town and places within the town are set up and what they look like, you can feel the way the characters felt when things were happening to them and you can picture yourself in the town with these people going to these places.
Everything is just so realistic that you feel that it could be your town,

We have heard about Gavin since the very first book in the series, The son who went away against his fathers wishes and hasn't been back since, We've been curious about Gavin as little snippets about him have been told through the otherbooks but we really get to know him in this one,

This story is about summer love, teenage angst, coming of age and finally coming home, Not home as to where you live but where you belong, Gavin and Britton met when he wasand she waswhile she was staying with her uncle one summer, When Gavin set his eyes on Britton he was a goner and just had to meet her and thus began their summer romance that lasted forsummers until he left to go back to college and never came back.
When he finally comes home afteryears to premiere his film for the towns film festival he catches a glimpse of Britton on the beach with a little boy and is transformed back to when they were teenagers.
Although he has a girlfriend back in California he can't help but seek out Britton as if she is the moon he needs to follow to find his way home.
When he finds out that she has a son he can't help but be drawn to this little ball of energy as much as he is his mother,

As most men are atGavin is selfish, confused and clueless to things that are staring him right in the face, Will Britton and Gavin be able to forgive each other and again find the passion that they had for each other during those long ago summers or will Gavin return to his old life in California Well now you will have to read Touch Screen to find out.

All of the books in The Sensations Collection are stand alones but they really should be read together so you can meet all of the wonderful characters that together form the Scott and Carter families.
Whether it's writing small town love or rock star love, LB does not disappoint and she has quickly become my go to one click author for anything she writes.
Holy cow! I am ashamed to say that this is the first book of LBs that I have read and I am currently asking myself, why Gavin and Brittons story was phenomenal.
This book evoked so many emotions that I was floored at how skillfully written these characters were, I was not sure if I wanted to punch Gavin or take him out for a beer, While I cannot say that I completely agree with Brittons decision regarding their son, I can say that I do understand why she handled things the way that she did.
This touching story is written with an emotionally heaviness and underlying wit that pulls all of the characters and their situations into a wonderfully written story that will anxiously turning the page hoping that it will all turn out how you are hoping in the end.

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.
I loved this book. It was beautifully written as well as an awesome story, I found myself feeling the emotions of the Characters, So get your tissues ready, I also felt happiness, so it is not all sad,

Gavin returns to his hometown after seven years of being away, trying to escape a disapproving father, While back at home for his best friend's wedding and film festival, Britton and him rekindle their passion for each other, But there is an extra person that Gavin falls in love with, and that is Britton's son, I am not going to say much more than that because I don't want to give away any spoilers,
Did I find anything wrong with this book No, I didn't,
Would I recommend this book Yes, definitely, Talk about a small town second chance romance that will hit you RIGHT in the feels! When Gavin Scott returns home for the first time in YEARS he is smacked in the face with a LOT of things that he missed, one of them being his first love.

This book shows how hard it can be going home, but might be just what Gavin needs in his life, It broke my heart and then filled it up in other parts I definitely am a fan! I give itouttaand really enjoyed reading it, If you like small town and second chance romances check it out now!

PS: Thank you to LB Dunbar and Wildfire Marketing Solutions for allowing me an advanced copy of the book to read and review honestly.
Second chance romance.
Older couple.
I really like secret baby/ child troupe but it has to be a good reason for not telling the Hero,
She does try, sort of but I wasn't thoroughly convinced,
When he returns she tries a couple of times and they get interrupted,
Both been with others during theiryear separation,

Spoiler. .

He was known as a player,
He felt differently about her but didn't explain before a misunderstanding causes them to split up,
It was a temporary relationship due to circumstances,
She lives near his family but he isn't close with them and didn't see them when he had met with her so she doesn't want to expose that to his family.

He never returned home after leaving the heroine all those years ago,

“She lied to me,” I blurt,
“Did she”
“She withheld the truth, She should have told me the second she saw me here, ”
“Because youre so stable and youll stick around, ” Ethans sharp words hurt.
“F you, man. ”
“The truth hurts, doesnt it” he adds, “But sometimes, its for your own good, ”
“Lying to me wasnt for my good,” I remind him,
“Nope, Im thinking she did that for Gee, She doesnt want you hurting him because youll leave, ”

No intimate scenes other than the Hero and heroine,
HEA. .
