Find Obsession (L.A. Connections, #2) Imagined By Jackie Collins Document
Meh. This instalment of the LA Confessions series seems even more insignificant than the last one, And I keep thinking . this can't be how Hollywood people are! And if this really is how they are, Can we rather just pretend otherwise There was ONE redeeming ok that's not quite the right word part where the SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER high class call girl gets busted in the middle of sex with the guy she has unwisely started dating.
That gave me a small giggle, Although I am also one of those people who doesn't think that prostitution is an unseemly profession so I don't see why the guy shouldn't just get over it and accept the fact that sex with random strangers is her job.
And then just be grateful that she doesn't charge him!,stars
Better than the first, But what's the genre of this series I think it's supposed to be mystery but there's not much of it There's two crimes happening, one in the first chapter and one in the last and there's no element of mystery in the other chapters.
What At least it was better than the first book where the murder happened in the prologue and then there was absolutely no mention of it for the rest of the book.
Okay, maybe it'll all come together at the end, but the end is the fourth book, So what's the point of the first three books I don't see why this story had to be split into four books.
Gripping. Now I have to complete the series, On to Murder Things certainly spice up in this instalment, however I cant help feeling this series wouldve been better as a single book, given the first one was completely devoted just to getting to know the characters The rollercoaster ride through the corrupt corridors of Hollywood's rich, famous, and powerful continues as an intrepid East Coast reporter investigates the murder of a young prostitute in this second installment of the steamy L.
A. Connections miniseries. Always my quick reads my escape So we find out who the murder victim from the end of the last book is, and Madison decides to do everything possible to solve the murder.
Max is still being insufferable although it looks like he's about to get his comeuppance,
Kristin and Jake have a date, and it looks like he might be falling for her but will he cope with finding out she's a hooker
And right at the end, another body is found.
. .
This is lightweight stuff, without much plot, but it's quite readable, Entertaining fluff. A thrilling part two to the L, A. Connections story. The tension is building and the characters are becoming more intertwined, I'm excited to continue the story, The plot twists ugh This was a great second book in the series, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
