a great book! Ups and downs, a big emotional roller coaster and some great characters This was a very moving yet uplifting read dealing with the loss of an epic love and how to move on and open your heart to another great love.

While having ex spouses or dead spouses is not my go to for stories, mainly because I don't want to see one of the MC's wallowing forpages, this one was in a league of its own because I found myself endeared to both characters and their personalities and flipping pages to see if they got their happily ever after.

The struggles were real and so was their love,
I'd read more from this series for sure, Holy Mother of Pearl!!!!!
This is my first book by Lauren and I can tell you with absolute certainty that I will be delving into more of her work very soon!
I could not put this book down, from start to finish I was on the edge of my seat with anticipation.
The first thing that I need to tell you about this book is that you cannot read it in public as it is all the feels and will have you crying in the middle of the street.
I had emotions leaking out of my eyes for good and bad reasons and I could not help myself.

Firstly Reid is such a tortured soul and when I didn't want to punch him because he couldn't see what was right in front of him or for saying the wrong thing, I was so ready to hate fuck that mans brains out and then kiss it all better and just hold him for all that he has been through and continues to go through.
His dark and twisted soul will break your heart but in the most delicious was,
Luna, where do I even start with this wonderful woman I am so inspired by her, her graciousness and beauty as a person.


Her ability to understand and to have the patience of a freaking saint when I probably would have smothered the man with a pillow by now, lol.
She is such a freak spirit and yet so logical in her thoughts, I really am inspired and will be striving to be more like her precious soul.

Now, something you need to know about this book it is going to eat you up alive!!! I don't do spoilers and will continue not to because there is just so much that you get from this book but what I will say is that it really shed some light on peoples thinking and just how much we all need someone on our lives to count on.
Even just one person will make the world of difference to how your day goes, There were some really sensitive subjects broached in this book and Ms, Cooper handled them with such care, really thinking about every ones feelings and allowing you as a reader to understand where it was all coming from.

Before I finish up, I just want to say that with all this mushy stuff going on and the leaking emotions, there was no shortage of some super sexy time happening.
There was a balance where you didn't feel like the couple were just banging each others brains out but the sexy time they were having was off the hinges hot without feeling overdone but still gave me all the feels.

Delia Bay sounds that the type of small town that I would love to go and stay at and I'm sure I'll be visiting again soon.

This is my honest and unbiased review, This is Coopers best writing to date, The story grabs hold of you from the beginning and doesnt let go, Im excited to see more of Delia Bay, I could not put this book down it was a page turner, This is a masterpiece. Lauren you have done an amazing job with this one, may edit when I can come up with something more coherent P I loved this book!! I wish I could give it more thanstars.


Reid is just going through the motions of living, His world was rocked at a very young age and he has never come back from it, He will break your heart, piece it back together and return it to you, I loved him even when I was angry with him,

Luna is awesome! I really want to be more like her, She is grace personified, a free spirit who can see the man Reid really is, Luna is light to Reids dark,



There are a few sensitive issues bought up but dont let that scare you away from this book.
They are a necessary part of the story, Lauren handles these issues with dignity, She takes into account everyones feelings,

One thought kept going through my head as I read this book, “Be kind, Everyone you meet is fighting a battle, ”

Super charged emotionally from the start to the finish.
A romance that proves there can be second chances just as powerful as the first time love, If you're looking for a real rollercoaster of an emotional read, one that tugs at your heart and makes your belly all tight and isn't really one of these 'feel good syrupy romances' then this one would be up your alley.
While I liked the story premise and both the characters, even the hard subject of dealing with grief, though I'm never so keen on a dead spouse being prevalent to so much of the H/h mind, it played well with this book, it did have a few niggly nitpick grammar problems for me that drew me out of the story quite a few times.
Overall good though and I'd read another if there's more in this series, .stars

This is a new author for me and I'm glad I discovered her, This was a beautiful story about finding love after the darkest of times, The subject was painful and hard to read, Loss and feelings of despair are sometimes hard to handle yet I truly believe that the Universe has bigger plans for us.

The love story of Luna and Reid is touching, heart stopping, sexy and oh so very sweet.
Luna is a total badass with humor and a heart bigger than she is!! Reid is a broken boy who works to turn his life in a positive direction for the woman he now loves as a man.
Lauren Cooper is one of my favorite authors and this is, to me, the most moving, touching, love story she's written that really celebrates a true happily ever after once you've been through hell and back to get there!! This is truly astar read!! Oh, man, Delia Bay took me on one hell of an emotional rollercoaster ride and left me different by the end.
It's true in fiction as in life we never truly know the struggles a person is going through, It was the case for Reid, One of those book heroes you fall for instantly and you feel everything he feels,

I cried, people, I cried!! This book got me in the tear ducts and I was a mess, It deals with serious issues of loving and losing and loving again and all that encompasses and I just loved these characters.


I laughed.
I loved.
I cried. did I mention the crying

Luna is an amazing heroine, She had more understanding and forgiveness than I ever would and I thought she came across as not only the kind of woman you'd want to be friends with but she was the savior Reid needed.
Her capacity to love was magical, And when you add in this little beautiful town as a setting with its wealth of secondary characters I am dying to know more about then it turns into a beautiful read.


I think Delia Bay is Lauren Cooper's most superb book to date, It touches every emotional note that will leave you feeling open and happy, She picks you apart at the seams and stitches you back together by the end, A little bittersweet. I just dont believe Hs feelings for h, he is so obsessed with his past and first love that somehow tainted his “love” for h.
