Immerse In Luffs (Transcendence, #1.5) Created By Shay Savage Provided As PDF
Stars!
This was the sweetest treat from Ms Savage for her Beh and Ehd lovers, The only problem with this, was I wanted more! If you loved Transcendense, you will love this short novella, Now I'm feeling like a Transcendense reread, Happy reading!
Ugh, what a massive let down, I probably shouldn't have read this novella so soon after finishing Transcendence, but selfcontrol is not my strong suit,
On the one hand, the novella is great for clarifying some scenes from the novel, Since Transcendence is told entirely from the POV of our lovable caveman Ehd, some events leave us readers confused because if our narrator doesn't know wtf is going on, then we're not going to know wtf is going on either.
HOWEVER, there were a lot of pivotal scenes that weren't included in this novella at all, Like what about when Beh's father shows up the first time and takes Lah away How did that conversation between her and her dad play out What about Lah's birth That was a really intense scene from the original book.
And we never even get to see the birth of Ehd and Beh's other children, We don't get to see what she thinks about adapting to life within a tribe, Also, I think we all would have liked to see the final scene when Beh and Ehd pass away together in their old cave told from her point of view since Beh is aware that her and Ehd's bodies will be excavated by her mother in the future.
Shay Savage could have given us some really valuable insight into the Transcendence novel, but she didn't, Instead, we get two separate scenes of Beh trying to celebrate Christmas while Ehd just wants to use the tree for fire, which take up aboutof the novella's content, and to top it all off, at around themark, the story ends about halfway through the events of the original novel and the nextis just blurbs and promotions for ALL of Savage's other novels.
Classy.
TLDR: great potential but ultimately disappointing and not worth the price Loved getting back to this story this time from Beths or Beh, as Ehd says POV! Now Ive started reading Transcedence all over again!
Luffs is a quick companion novella to Transcendence told only from Beh's POV.
This novella should only be read after reading Transcendence, Otherwise all the gestures and events won't really make sense, especially since the novella jumps around in time very quickly,
It was nice to see Beh's side of things, but I will admit that it was sweeter only knowing what Ehd was thinking.
Beh unfortunately came across as much more shallow and not as likeable, I did really like the tie in with clay dish though and her behavior made a lot more sense, A few other questions get addressed in the novella as well, and overall, this was a nice gift to readers, but it doesn't add a ton to the story.
This was a wonderful addon to Transcendence, even though I thought the standalone was perfect in itself, Seeing Ehd through Beh's eyes was such a beautiful experience,
Ahh, these two cuties and their luffs and khizzes!
En un futuro muy cercano volveré a leer a Transcendence a la misma vez que Luffs, Transcendence will always bring back fond memories of me begging friends to read an insanely different love story about a caveman called Ehd that had stolen my heart!
This novella.
. . well, it just didn't add anything to the original story, It felt rushed and in fact, for me, kinda took something away from the magic of the first book I could be wrong, but I didn't feel Shay Savage REALLY wanted to write it She's an awesome storyteller, this one sadly disappointed me a bit.
Interesante para conocer la historia que se narra en el primer libro desde el punto de vista de la protagonista, aporta alguna cosa nueva y arroja luz sobre alguna otra que no quedó tan clara en la primera entrega.
.The kindle edition says this book ispages, Its actually, with the rest being filler of other books the author has written,
I LOVED Transcendence, its one of my top M/F romances EVER, This one filled in a few blanks from Behs pov but I was mostly disappointed with the execution, and the cost of this ebook for so little story.
I absolutely adored the first book, Ive reread it multiple times, and I was on the edge of my seat for this novella in Behs POV, Unfortunately, I am sorely disappointed,
I understand Luffs is a novella, and reading the first book is an absolute must, but there were times were I was trying to place what was happening because the chapters were so random.
None of them transitioned together well, it was very choppy and didnt flow nicely at all when reading,
Savage time jumped throughout the book so much that it became bothersome, At one point I had to use what knowledge I had from reading Transcendence to figure out how long it had been between chapters in the timeline because it wasnt mentioned.
So many of the major points in the first book werent visited at all, Lahs birth, Lah getting sick, Behs father appearing for the first time, Behs attack, the other childrens births, meeting their new tribe, the children finding their mates, and much more.
I desperately wanted these scenes in Behs POV, and Im gutted I didnt get it, Then at, it ends abruptly, It wasnt planned out nicely at all, The remainingwas filled with blurbs from the authors other books which was pointless, and irritating,
I thought I would adore this book like I did the first, but in the state this novella is in, it really wasnt needed and I wish I never read it.
It let me down.
The price was ridiculous for what we got, and that says something since, isnt even expensive. I understand the author needed it at,so she could get herroyalties with Amazon get your money, love! but man, there should have been, . . more.
I gave two simply
because I love the characters, and the cover for the book is beautiful,.
“Then theres Ehd,
Where would I be, and in what shape would I be in if it werent for him As much as he had terrified me in the beginning, I know well enough now that hes kind and gentle.
He might not talk, but hes far from stupid, Hes sweet and hes warm, and I think I might actually be falling for him,
My caveman. ”
Beh
“Luffs”
Ehd Once upon a time, you fell in love with a caveman,
His needs were basic, his ambitions primal, his love fierce,
Now, fall in love with Ehd all over againthrough Behs eyes,
LuffsShay Savages holiday gift to Transcendence fans everywhere!
Coming Novemberth! Part of what I loved about Transcendence is only getting Ehds POV and having to read between the lines to figure out what Beh was thinking/doing.
I still wanted to read this because there were two scenes I really wanted to read from her POV and this book only gave us one of those.
That was a bit of a let down, Still a decent novella, although maybe too short to even be considered a novella, for Ehd only,
It was so great to revisit Beh and Ehds story, I finally got some old questions answered, I wanted to drop some because this book was so short and the time jumps and hurried scenes felt more like a recapped overview but.
its Ehd and I loved him all over again, so Im giving thisstars, purely for Ehd and nostalgia, This short novella was a wonderful treat for me this holiday season! I absolutely adored "Transcendence" which was the first book that Shay Savage wrote about Ehd and Beh.
Most readers have heard of the beloved couple that met when Beth ended up travelling back in time to the days of Cavemen, Luckily, Ehd found her and they had a very unique journey falling into love with one another, I might add that Ehd could not communicate verbally, so they learned other ways to understand each other!!! LOL
With this novella, we get a glimpse into some of the memorable scenes between the two but in Beth's POV.
I will say that I probably wouldn't have enjoyed this as much if I had read the first book recently, I haven't read the book in more than a few years though, and so for me this was an enjoyable reminder of why I fell in love with Ehd and Beh in the first place!
For me, I really liked going back in time and reminiscing about the endearing couple.
If you are a reader that has never read "Transcendence" then I strongly suggest giving it a go! You will either absolutely fall in love with it, or you won't like it or all.
. . As for myself I will always hold this story in my heart that is reserved for the extra special romance stories!
Their love story has been in my top five romances of all time! I just love it, and am glad I was reminded of how much I adored it by reading this novella! As soon as I found out that Shay Savage was releasing this I was stalking its ass off waiting for release day.
. Transcendence was one of my most favourite books of all time, . Even this cover brings all the feels!! Luffs is a beautiful addition to Transcendence which I really loved, It was nice to read about Ehd and Beh again through Beh's eyes, I think this novella is a great gift to fans of Transcendence, I have to admit that a couple of scenes brought tears to my eyes, but overall it was light and fun, STOP IT OMG I CANT EVEN MY FAVORITE BOOK HAS A SEQUEL FINALLY AAAAA I LOVE THIS SOOO MUCH ALREADY DYINGGGGG
biased I was so nervous about reading this because I read Transcendence so long ago and I was worried that I had built it up too much in my head.
I had nothing to fear because this was an amazing novella which complimented the original book, This story is from Beth's POV and I would say you definitely need to read sitelinkTranscendence first, I love my gentle loving caveman SO SO MUCH!! He was so caring and protective and I felt his pain especially in moments when he didn't understand what was happening.
I loved getting Beth's POV, It was interesting to see how many truths she had figured out so early in their story, Gosh! This is the just the ultimate love story, A love that was sustained despite their HUGE differences and their inability to communicate verbally! I have no more to say, This was just EPIC! If you were like me and adored the story of Ehd and Beh in the book transcendence then you must read this follow up novella!!!! The journey of the caveman and time traveler told in Transcendence is from Ehd's POV.
This follow up novella is a brief retelling of the events, told from Beh's POV,
It was great to revisit the story!! But now that both books are published, I highly recommend you read them back to back to get the full story from both sides I would have LOVED to read this immediately after Transcendence.
I longed to hear Beh's thoughts throughout my reading of book!! So it was really nice to get a glimpse of that in this novella.
. . BUT it is short, I was sad it was over so quickly! I loved going back in time and following their lives!! I have fallen completely in luff with Ehd all over again!! And oh my gosh, those nose rubs
We get Behs POV this go around, more like bits and pieces of the full storyline, and I couldnt help but smile from beginning to end.
Now, I long to go back and reread one of my all time favorite romances, “Transcendence,” and bask in their unique and splendid love story.
Note: I cannot recommend or encourage you enough to first read “Transcendence” to get the full benefits of this short novella.
For me, book one was a magical experience! Sure wish this novella was much longer though, Haaaa I am in love with Ehd all over again!
This is more a recollection of Beth memories than a real story, Kind of going through your favorite photo album and remembering fondly,
If you have not read Trenscendence before you won't really appreciate this one who is dedicated to fans who wanted Beth's side of the story.
It was interesting and cute to get back to their world, see the dynamic between them,
And as KAS said in her review: these nose rubs! Sigh, i literally dropped everything to read this today, what is work This was a bit of a disappointment for me, I really wanted to know more from Beth's pov and though it was nice to get a bit more time with Beh and Ehd it was too short and jumped around too much for me to really enjoy it.
I wanted too see Lah's birth, her dad coming, the kids a bit older, and a few other moments that where not in this book from Beth's pov.
I give itbecause I liked getting a bit more in this world, but I wanted more and I feel let down that the little bit here is all us readers get.
I enjoyed finally reading some scenes from Beh's point of view, But I was pretty dismayed that some of the more emotional scenes from sitelinkTranscendence were cut and instead we get to see her try to make a Christmas tree.
Like, what No. At the very least I would have hoped for a new scene with Beh .
Complete missed opportunities!.
