Title: Wrath of One
Series: Origins of the Six
Thank god this series is over, As if the last book didn't drain my spirit enough, we had this tinyodd page book that should've genuinely been incorporated into the last, In this book, we see the gates of hell overflow onto Earth and the disbalance between good and evil and some more whining boys and some more Izara thinking the world revolves around her.
Turns out, doing something to save the whole planet isn't just about you and your love life, This wasn't the series for me despite it's obvious potential, If better laid out, I think I would've enjoyed this book but I think it was so unorganised and it made it hard to follow, I lost interest after I started disliking the main character and couldnt finish this book, This series started off strong but after the second book it was as if the authors decided to start rushing the story to just finish the series, Nonstop action, perfect ending to the series
First of all, I absolutely loved this book, Most books that I have read has the final epic scene occurring over the last few chapters and more often than not, it seems anticlimactic, This book was different. This entire book was the final epic scene where Hell has been unleashed on Earth yet contained within the Academy of Six, The ensuing battle was to keep Hell contained while trying to figure out how to defeat the devil and close the portal,
There was so much drama and action that I tore through this book in just a couple of hours because I could not put it down, I suggest anyone who loves a good academy book with Angels, demons, all supernaturals, RH, and plenty of action to give this series a try, Good story!
I really enjoyed this story!! Well the whole series really, The twists and turns make the story even better, Kinda guessed the biggest one but was thrown off course! I don't think I had a favorite male this time tho! Whoot whoot! This book was great loved it from the beginning to the final book.
Wow this was a wild ride!
This series was so good! I loved the story and
Izzy made me so mad in the beginning but the authors really did some amazing writing to show you why she made the decisions and choices she made.
Seriously good twists and turns, If you like paranormal/fantasy RH I HIGHLY recommend this series, Hell on Earth
Wow! Wrath of One is full of action as the academy professors and prods deal with hell on earth, Love how this series wrapped up, Was a bit worried about Izara in bookbut it all makes sense as the story fully unfolds in this book! Definitely would be interested in a spin off this with a new gen of students! Good but felt rushed a bit
This was a good book and good ending to a series but it still felt a bit all over the place.
Maybe I felt like it was a bit rushed, All and all though good book, For a final book, it's not good, It killed any possibility i had to root for relationships of Izara and guys just came across as pathetic, She became unlikable character and her "hidden" plan was laughable, Guys should have dropped her sorry ass, tell her off unceremoniously and go off together without her, As it played our, I hated them all, It was boring to read too, Not well for the final book in series that should have been epic, Fantastic ending
I have loved this series from the very first chapter of book, This final part of the journey was full of so much action, drama, heartache, loss, as well as love, hope, and forgiveness, Truly an amazing story. The epilogue was the perfect ending and, though I'm sad to say goodbye, I'm grateful for the time I had with Izara, Syko, Saint, Malek, and Phoenix, Hell has come. And her name is Izara Castillo,
Portals are open, hell spawns are destroying the academy from the inside out, and even the ancient Vampiric Citadel is no match for this kind of power.
Lucian Morningstar wanted a war Well he just got one, He may have trained and strengthened Izzys Prod into a true apocalyptic monster but he forgot about one small detail,
Her men would give their life to protect her,
Even from herself,
This is the final book in the reverse harem series Origins of the Six, Recommended for readersand over,
Reading Order
Academy of Six
Control of Five
Destruction of Two
Wrath of One Great ending to an amazing series
Really enjoyed this entire story.
I was worried about Izara there for a bit, In the end, I love the way everything was resolved, Would definitely be fun to revisit this universe with a new set of students, Great series
What a great way to end a series!! There was some major hot sex scenes and great fight scenes!! This was a great series all the way around and would highly recommend it for anyone who loves a rated R dirty read mixed in with some violence and funny moments.
Well this author does nothing for me really, this is her third series that I have read and I feel they all have the same points which I don't enjoy,
This book was predictable and fell flat, The epilogue was unbelievable and it was almost painful to get to the end, The only feel thing I liked was Saint's parents, His mum the most. This like the rest of the series was bam bam bam with no build up, no development and no finish, According to reviews Im in the minority because I did not love this series overall, In fact each book only seemed to get better near the very end, while dragging for the first, The end of this book just has me dumbfounded, Im not sure why I am supposed to just accept Izara becoming the headmistress of the school, four years later with no mention of what the heck they all did in the meantime.
But really because it was her idea to being the school back shes in charge I dunno it just doesnt fit the heroine at all, We find out her daddy wasnt her daddy but her brother, Her real dad is Satan himself, also the same guy whod been undercover helping train Izaars power since her start at the school, Is it all because he wanted to use her power to open hell, thats what all this was about!! I just dont get Shades backstory anymore either, was it bullshit A lie to get Izzy on his side I mean she supposedly traveled back in time to when he lost his son, but the devil wouldnt really give two shits about any of his kids.
. . I dunno I just couldnt get in to this story and while Im glad they ended the war, Im lived that Syko had to lose his wings! What purpose did that even serve Made worse because for whatever reason the heroine still always refers to him as her best friend.
Im still not sure when they became bffs but he was also the last guy to join the gang and yet he pays the consequences, its just wrong and it obviously bothers me lol.
Wrath of One: Academy of Six Book Four by A K Koonce and Aleera Anaya Ceres
The book hangover from this is gonna be real,
In the final book of Academy of Six, Izzy meets her match in the Devil, and Phoenix, Saint, Maleek and Syko band together with friends, family and demons in the ultimate battle to rid the world of him and his followers.
An exciting ending to the series, it had me hooked and i couldnt put the book down i literally didnt from when i picked it up hours ago with the truth about a few characters coming out, and Izzy not being as naive as we thought she would, a happily ever after ending was a lovely tie off for this series.
I loved the epilogue as well and found it fitting for all the characters we have learnt to love,
Overall, the series was brilliant, I seriously enjoyed this, whilst short, series into Academy of Six, Thank you to both authors for a fantastic book series, Excited to see what other writings you both have!
/
,/Love it!!
I am so sad that this is the last book in this series! I have to say I would love a follow up to see what their lives look like a few years more down the road.
Dare I say “babies” LOL I definitely recommend this book!!,I guess.
Spoilers spoilers spoilers
Izzy is a dumbass and this whole book was basically a battle scene I didnt care about,
They shouldve just not forgiven her and Saint / Phoenix / Syko could be a dope throuple, Maybe they could even get Malek in there eventually, who knows Totally loved that the M/M in this isnt just casual hookups centered around the girl, Like they legit love each other
Im glad I read this series and I loved the first two books, feeing meh about the ending though The series started out really strong.
Unfortunately it didnt end with the same strength, I could see the plot twists coming from about the second book,
The sex scene in this book felt very forced and the timing of it was awful,
I think I just finished this book to see if there was anything steamy in the epilogue, There was not. The portal to hell is open, Hell's citizens are now at the Academy, Literally, hell on earth. And all because of Izara, Students and teachers are going to die and although her men are supposed to be offlimits, everyone knows the devil can't be trusted, She can't lose them. She must fight. Lucifer Morningstar and The Messenger of Chaos wanted to bring destruction on the earth and have used Izara to start their war, However, she has more than her demon side, it's time to unleash the rest of her power, Dear Daddy forgot she also carries Mommy's blood,
Actionpacked, this series ends well, Saint, Phoenix, Malek, and Syko turned out to be everything I could hope for, They were strong, loving, funny, sexy, intelligent, protective, and lucky for Izzy, forgiving, I wasn't happy with everything that happened to them, As expected, they paid a higher price for Izzy's decisions than she did, I would have liked for more drama between them before a HEA, She caused irreparable damage and it wasn't really addressed to my satisfaction, I love the "pack" they formed, Their brotherhood was the best part of this book, "I Love You's" all around! Each brought a unique character, good backstory, and character growth, Izara finally came into her own, I wasn't happy with her explanation behind her decision but I accept it, I still think she handled everything wrong from beginning to end, Azrael and his jeanswearing pixies turned out to be a favorite of mine, I would have loved spending more time with him, I also have to say how much I loved the epilogue, Didn't see it coming until right before but I think it was a great way to end, Although this wasnt as bad as book, . . not by much. I think I am really having trouble with the school dynamic, The teachers never cared. The school is a hell hole and for a place that says they want to help them get back into society I have a hard time believing that malarkey.
This was a predictable ending and everything worked out the way it should have, I do like that epilogue because I am glad that Iz and her men took it upon themselves to revamp the school, A school that actually helps its students, First part of the series I liked but the last meh not so much, I was sorely disappointed but they cant make everyone happy, So boring. I skimmed through it just to make sure I wouldn't regret wasting a few hours of my life on this, It almost
feels like the author couldn't be bothered by the series any more, The author just went through a checklist:
daddy issues
mommy issues
mysterious artifacts that need to be protected
demon army
revelation "the power was in you all along!!" Omg, who could have guessed that after shoveling those clues down our throats.
. .
main character almost dying
miraculous new army saves the day
epilogue where the main character gets way more than she deserves based on her nonexistent skill set
They "love" each other.
Yeah whatever, I don't believe it, The vampire dad and his exlover the nun have a more interesting relationship,
Time makes no sense, First book: you go to hell for a little bit and you lose months on earth, Second book: you go to hell for a few hours and you lose a few weeks, This book: you go to hell for a few minutes to talk to a ghost and you lose nothing,
And nothing is said about when her mother dies/gave birth to her,
Also, did we ever learn why she killed her human boyfriend I mean I can guess but it feels like an abandoned plotline, Or maybe I just skimmed past it, Eh
Good story line, The flow was off for me, The characters are good but there is so much room for growth, And who is going to have a group smexy time in the middle of the world ending Apparently this group, For no reason. .
