decent story, that may lead into a fun adventure but for now was okay, But, for my first light novel, was still fun, Yo Gary stu for no reason but i will Reding it

It Was fun to read, but the harem stuff is too much, Like the meme, nothing go wrong with this boy I'm torn between "disgusted that girls humor him" and "kind icked out that the author thought 'erotic interactions to raise MP' was a viable plot decision.

I didn't hate this book, but somehow that feels more like an indictment of the author's skills than anything more positive, A silly story about a young man stumbling on a treasure of sorts and bumbling into creating his own harem, It is very selfaware of the type of book it is, both in its worldbuilding, characters and powers, As a result it is a bit thick with the tropes to be honest, but it is mostly entertaining, Still, I am not a big fan of oblivious harem protagonist, and one that is a bit stupid at that, Probably not my type of story, but I can see how others like it, The main character, Noir, has the innate skill to mind summon the "Great Sage", But to be able to summon him, and use spells, Noir's best friend Emma, told him that with kisses or other physical shows of affection, Noir can recover his LP HP is Health Points, but in this case, LP means Life Points.
Instead of using Mana, for magic and spells it seems that this light novel series uses Noir's Life Points as "fuel" to be able to "steal" skills, "endow" skills, or "edit" skills.
Yes! incredibly "broken" skills that would make anyone the best and most powerful "mage in the world", Because you can fill in the blank as long as you have enough Life Points, with personal skills to defeat any enemy and at the same time, with "edit skills" you can reduce the power of your enemies.

Anyone, who would want to become stronger, would love to have a "private dungeon", Dungeons are places that with practice and training, you learn to defeat monsters to gain experience and strength and at the same time, with the loot they drop gain incredible amounts of money and wealth.

This Volumehas overpages, illustrations half drawn, half done, blank pages, cover and information, withchapters, andbonus chapters containing side stories, This series was first published in, it has it's manga version and an anime version with one season ofepisodes,
Being already from a Noble family, having the prettiest best friend in the multiverse, having the "Great Sage" and the infinite ability to create, remove, edit or improve any skill as long as one has enough life points is surely the "easiest and fastest" path towards becoming the strongest mage in the world.

This series is not an isekai reincarnated or teleported to another world, It is based in a medieval setting swords and monsters, It is a harem series though, The more love and affection, Noir receives the stronger and more life points LP, he has and can use to level up and defeat all of his enemies,
Noir uses his new OP, skills, to become one of the best newcomers at the "Hero Academy", Yes this is also a "school or martial academy" series, It is of course a Dungeon series, I like the fact that everything is positive, the main character is imaginative, creative, and a good guy, Alice, Noir's little sister is a Siscon relationship, I don't understand the Japanese custom of "having feelings" for your little sisters, Incest Inbreeding brings forth genetic diseases, This is why incest is illegal, but it is also taboo, Only in some monarchic lineages, was incest favored "because it would strengthen the purity of the lineage" and create a lot of genetic diseases for their offspring,
Fortunately for me the reader, the positive is more than the negative in this light novel series, It currently haslight novel volumes as of April, Cringy

I have watched and read my fair share of rpg style fantasy and my standards arn't super high, All i really want is some substance,

Sadly this lacks it for me personally, Following a generic set up with nothing special to note,

Sadly the title feels misleading as the dungeon gets very little focus,

I'd rename thus series 'What if I got a power boost every time I did ecchi things with girls',

If you want cheese cringy mild fan service this is for you but sadly It lacked much beyond l that, So the summary sounded pretty interesting, I picked it up with hope in my heart and having not checked other reader reviews, Normally I skip the art in Light Novels and go back at the end to check them over but today I opened straight to page, Pagein the Light Novel has art and instead of it being pics with the names that is pageand, it has the main character lipping another characters ear.
I don't know if the artist has ever been asked to draw such an action, but from the art I am going to wager that as a no, The main character in the art looks like hes enjoying eating her ear as it were a tasty bit of meat from a good meal, Confronted with this random bit of art, I ventured into the reader reviews, I now know what awaits me in this book, I am so disappointed. Let it be known, I have no problem with romance novels but books where the protag collects people like objects with no thoughts or wishes beyond oh protag is amazing, gets my goat.

The writing level reads like a high school fanfic, which is fine but this is a published book, How. In the first few pages into the book, the protag starts off with an amazing power that has a major drawback, Using his skill causes cluster migraines, Painful. However a cure was found on the next page! Amazing! What pacing! The cure is making out with others! Less amazing, He uses his skill while making out with his childhood friend, It takeskisses to get the answer he needs, which is a place to level up, His childhood friend acts like this was amazing, protag point of view lists this as nothing more than an experiment, After entering the dungeon he finds a cursed adventurer, who of course is female, She is chained to the wall and is somehow is overyears old and is shown to still look like shes, She then gifts him all her skills and then he leaves her there, All of this bypages in,

Long story short, I dont recommend this book, You can find better books, This book does have some interesting world building and potential as we follow the protagonist's journey to increasing his abilities as an adventurer, On the other hand this has a LOT typical harem tropes that can be sexist and the girls are inextricably drawn to him, which can get very tedious if you've seen or read stories like this.
Though I will acknowledge this leading man does possess characteristics that actually make him attractive to girls and he's not a mediocre, weakling that you find WAY too often in harem trope stories.
I'm honestly debating about whether I'll continue reading this, I might give volumea chance but if I can't find some truly redeeming qualities that make me move past the harem tropes, I won't continue reading this, Did I enjoy: Yes, I scoffed, shook my head, but still laughed at the simple premise, It's simply written, if not some of the risque themes, I'd suspect the book was written foryear olds, so it was a nice and quick palette cleanser,

Can I recommend it: That's a hard no, The characters are flat, the premise is stale, and I'm unsurprised they turned this into a manga and anime series because of all the opportunities for shameless fan service.
Very good story telling throughout the series, Would recommend to anyone new to Light Novel's! Interesting start

It is nice to see an MC in a harem that is not a blind idiot.
There are still some issues with this story but I have hope for the future, This one is a little hard to review, This light novel seems a little more western than most in this genre from characters mannerisms to their tastes in foods and habits, The aspects that point to it becoming a harem would counter that but I know that genre has blown up as a niche here over the last few years and there are plenty of western writers that write in it.
Even the unique abilities the character has and gains, One I recognize as being in other Japanese media but the majority of them I recognize from a western novel

in the same genre, the skill set just has different names.
That's not to say it's the same or even the same story though completely different, Due to the fact that I'm reading a translation however I have no way of knowing if it's actually written this way or if the company translating it altered things for localization purposes like gaming companies and other media companies tend to do and were even worse about in thes or if the author was just trying to stand out.
Anyways on the the meat and potatoes, The first volume is good, I like the main character enough and the skill set is interesting to see what he does with it.
The powers charged by "interactions" not just H with the other sex is kind of off putting though and it guarantees harem or interpersonal fights later since there are already half a dozen girls after him by the end of the first book.
There isn't very much world building but there is some background written in that's decent, Not much character development but it is the first volume, In the end if you like the genre you will like this, .
