I loved everything about this short and not so sweet snippet of Wren and Nix, This is a perfect addition to the anthology, I adore everything Ms. Cotton writes. This little tease was no exception, Excited to read These Dirty Lies in,STARS FOR THE RITUAL BY SHANTEL TESSIER!! OMG, SO GOOD!!! I need more, This one kept me on the edge, I am still shaking my head,

STARS FOR HALLOW VOW BY C, LYMARI!! This was sweet and sexy, . . I devoured it. This author is quickly becoming a favorite of mine, Some of these short stories I really liked and would giveto, others not as much and would give aor.
Overall I had fun with my first anthology and I love a Halloween story which made it all the better! Actual rating.

I read Halloween stories last year and really enjoyed them so I decided, why not this year too
This anthology was on my feed which I thought was great, plenty of stories for the price of one!

Anyway, Im glad I did end up reading this.
Its definitely not my usual reading but Im always open to branching out,

I learned a lot about New Adult fiction and the kind of tropes and cliches that go into them,
I learned the kind of tropes I like and dislike and that sometimes a writer can say a lot in a short story but it doesn't mean its always great.


Also, for Halloween based stories some of them were not THAT Halloweenesk, Not a huge deal but if you were looking for something to scratch that festive itch, a few of the tales dont quite fit the bill.


I think the most disappointing thing about this book was just how many spelling or grammatical errors there were,
I dont think there was a single story where there werent ANY errors,

Overall, Im grateful I was able to combine Halloween stories with the experience of reading some of the different genres of New Adult romance.

Ive actually already added more NA books into my library! Im excited to explore this genre further,

Side note: This anthology reminded me why I HATE reading newly released works,

My mind is blown by how much I fell in love with these stories.
Each one got better and better as I read on, I could not physically put it down,

I also loved that this opened me up to many more new series that I can get into in the future.


Also, did I mention that this book is free! How could you say no

This will forever be my favourite book and my new Halloween tradition will be reading this.

Tracy has yet down it again with sucking me in to a story! I was totally captivated by this story and I need more of it.
I love how she has the mysterious aspect / mafiaish feel, ! I can not wait for the Knights ridge world to come to life, this was definitely astart read for me,

These Dark Hearts A Darling Hill Prequel L, A. Cotton.Estrellas. Estuvo bien, al ser una precuela te deja con ganas de más y te deja con una sensación de desazón por el final, pero fue entretenido y quizás sí le dé una oportunidad al libro con esta pareja, además, me gustaron los otros personajes secundarios también.

Holy Heck! Once again L, A. Cotton absolutely killed it!
These Dark Heartsmay have been a Prequel, but it didnt stop you from feeling like you had put through the wringer with having ridden the most spectacular, adventurous rollercoaster ride.
All within Chapters only,
Given the chemistry sparks that were flying off between Harleigh and Nix throughout, The narrative constantly had you on the edge on your seat in anticipation of if and when the big explosion would occur between Harleigh and Nix.

Honestly this story had me quivering all throughout, only to leave me in a trembling puddle of mess by the end.
Considering the intensity surrounding the angst, drama within the emotions and feelings, tension from the build up of suspense and mystery for what's to come by the cliffhanger ending.
I never wanted to stop reading!

If there was ever a prequel to check out, These Dark Heartsby L.
A. Cotton is definitely a MUST READ! Not only because how AMAZING it truly was, but because it will prepare you for whats to come in the Darling Hillseries with Harleigh and Nixs story.
