sweet story about a guy who went home to find his old crush was also gay and well, out to his family.
I enjoyed two friends type of story, Though I thought the end decision about moving in together was a bit too quick though, Just before Christmas, Keith returns home to claim an inheritance, but can't decide whether to stay in his aunt's old house, or keep his city apartment.
He loves that house, but his hometown holds bad memories, Deciding to stay until New Year's before making a decision, Keith goes to buy a Christmas tree and runs into the one person he isnt ready to meet again.

Seeing Dale again is sweet torture, complicated even more because Dale's out and about with two kids, But Dale seems happy to see Keith again, and extremely interested to discover Keith is a successful author, Not only that, but under the penname of Guy Fortune, Keith is one of Dale's favorite gay authors, Will Dale have a confession to make for Christmas,

Keith's aunt died and he has inherited the house he grew up in, He left to make his way in the world, but also because he had a huge crush on his friend Dale and couldn't bear to see him everyday and not have him and maybe one day have to watch him marry and have children.

He runs into Dale his first night in town and when he reveals his pen name he also learns that Dale is gay!
Keith writes gay stories so being Dale's fav author was sort of a giveaway for both.

After that, hold on to your seatbelts because it is a race to the finish of sweet and sappy love story,
I like shorts, but sometimes they get packed so full that it just seems too much,
It is a short fast sweet story,

The story is standard childhood friends who liked his best friend but was too afraid to tell the other one.
They both had strong feelings toward the other, but buried it, In the case of Keith, he even left the town and moved to Los Angeles, When his aunt died and left her house to him, Keith went back home, not sure what to do, He had been out of the town foryears, but he also felt tired of big city, With his job as M/M novelist, he could do it anywhere, When he met Dale again and his friend confessed that he was a fan of his books Keith used a pen name, the rest is only about how they meandering through their future.

I liked reading this story because both characters realize that they are not the same person they wereyears ago, Yes, there's little struggle there, but in general this is a feelinggood Christmastime story, This was just a short sweet holiday story about two friends who find their way back to each other at Christmas time after spending years apart.
I really enjoyed it and the fact that there wasn't a lot of angst and drama was nice, Perfect quick holiday story to put a smile on your face and make you feel like anything is possible if you just believe.Coming back to the town you grew up in after having been away for many years can be an eyeopening experience, Keith faces this situation when he inherits his aunt's house and comes back to his small town origins for a visit, His biggest issue and uncertainty is Dale, the man he thought was straight, the one he's had a crush on since they were in school together, and the one he left behind when he moved to LA.
Of course, running into him when buying a Christmas tree on his first evening back brings back a lot of memories,

Keith is a writer, now used to the "big city life", but he also remembers his roots and wonders if settling down is his logical next step.
His uncertainty about how to deal with Dale, who might be married, is quickly removed as a concern, but even though Dale turns out to be as gay as Keith, a lot has happened in the intervening years.
In many ways, the two need to get to know each other all over again, Well, the parts that have changed since they have grown into men,

Dayle isnt someone to overcomplicate things, He is happy that Keith is back, has been out for four

years, and goes straight into relationship mode, The roots he has put down working for the family now his brother's business and running a group for young men who need support when trying to get away from alcohol, are pretty solid.
I did get the impression he'd leave it all behind to follow Keith, should he decide not to stay,

If you like stories about reunions, if you enjoy reading about men figuring out how they fit together, and if you're looking for a short, fun Christmas story, you will probably like this book.

Keith inherits his aunts house in his small hometown, He goes back to decide if he wants to pull up stakes in LA and move home writer or sell, He starts thinking about his best friend Dale and how he had a crush on him, He goes to buy a Christmas tree and runs into Dale, They reconnect and very quickly Dale tells him hes gay and always had a crush on him, Keith reciprocates and well you know how it goes pretty quickly, It was a nice story about reconnecting but I think within two days Dale agreed to move in with him, and they declared their undying love.
They hadnt seen each other in ten years and while they shared a bit of their history my thought was “You have no clue if you even like this guy.
is NOT. ” But if you dont mind that kind of dynamic its a well written story, I am a published author of gay romantic erotica I term it such because I view my stories as primarily romance with a touch of erotica.
