Study Boy Trouble At Trebizon Conveyed By Anne Digby Accessible As EPub
in JanuaryReally great story, very gripping, I enjoyed Robbie in this even though he doesn't make a very good impression for most of the book, and seeing Rebecca play tennis was really lovely.
Great fun and I'm pleasantly surprised at how Digby makes even the most bizarre plot seem completely natural, I was sad to see Rebecca give up writing in favour of tennis but I loved how mature she seemed in this novel, it's astonishing what a quick and sharp mind she has.
I can't wait for more adventures with the girls, Tsk. Boarding school girls shouldn't be worrying about boys! The girls at Malory Towers would never dream of wasting their time in such a way! The ending doesn't quite add up occasionally I give a fleeting thought to Madeleine and how she must have felt but it's another great story, full of the inherent awkwardness of being a girl aged/.
A quick read but a good one, Before the end of her first term in the Third Year Rebecca begins to wish she'd never met Robbie, Tish's carmad brother.
For Robbie is accused of joyriding and Rebecca discovers that clearing him is likely to cost her her big chance in tennis a place in the county squad.
More riveting mystery
Like great mysteries this book has a good puzzle and detective story to go with it.
Mysteries for younger readers Another intriguing tale in this series that I have been enjoying, I really like how Digby manages to make the mysteries serious, but not too much so! A great series about friendships and mysteries.
I I'm re reading these books from my teen years and still fantastic, stars
Interesting reading this as an adult, I view the boys in this and how the story concludes a bit differently to when I was a child!
It is a fun read, though.
The tennis is a bit dull, mind you, and I know there's more of that to come! Could have done without the whole boy stuff and wish it was more school focussed.
Anyway an average entry in the series, some good parts but really a step back from the previous entry,
Trebizon
Anne DigbyA bare three for this one a little too transparent, and if that's her future love interest, I'm not terribly impressed.
