is not a review, I'm just writing what I thought about my reading experience, The book is supposed to be classic, A French author writing on biblical theology in the's It was so easy to follow that it took me just a day to read through, I found the contents on the OT prophetic/historical books quite helpful,
Guess what, the consistency of its content with the modern biblical
theol work and its continuity with the Scripture were faithfully preserved in the Korean translation through the Korean Lutheran press, "Concordia Publishing" of the English version which was, in turn, a translation of the original work in French!.
This kind of consistency across linguistic barriers penetrated through the biblical veracity makes me want to stay a 'mere' Protestant, The core and majority of evangelical doctrines derive straight out of the Scripture, regardless of the minor denominational distinctives such as modes of baptism and eschatology and reading Orthodox and Catholic authors continuously pushes me away for their pharisaical teachings.
. . anyway, the book was edifying, .
