the run for attempted murder, Chris will do anything to survive in the streets and get even with Brandon, While Brandon is still up to his old tricks, he realizes his wife, Mia, has a few of her own, This was the first book i read from this author and it was good, It was about two guys brandon and chris who feel out over a record company that brabdon sold whe chris went to jail, Brandon keep all the profit so when chris got out he was out for revenge, While all this is going down brandons wife Mia if that is real her name has some secrets of her own, Because she gets tired of brandns lieing and cheatig she starts sleeping with his mistress, Also in chris life i was surpised to find out he was really gay, But hes ready to give that up to have his family back, In the end one gets shot and lives and one man dies, Okay, ongoing review so I don't forget anything
On page, direct quote, "When Brandon's mother died, it was Chris and his mother Ms, Ruth who accepted into their family, Ungrateful bastard. Brandon was getting way out if line, and Chris was ready to put him back in check, "
What is that Can
that be called a paragraph With sentences I'm not sure,
Page, Nicole writes about a woman cooking dinner for her man, Direct quote so I don't lose anything in the process "She looked at him and continued flouring chicken, Brandon got a glimpse of the meal and lost his appetite, He could tell Mia had never fried chicken before, because she didn't clean off the feathers, "
At the bottom of the same page there's this: "If Brandon wanted to be a big man, it was time for time for him to see how big men played.
"
Yup, that was definitely edited,
I'm not sure I can even think of anything funny to say for that first "paragraph", the one with the chicken, Is this what's considered good writing A good set up Because I can easily start watching t, v. again if so. I still can't believe I read that, I think the only other author that comes close to something so damn silly is the one who named a character 'Mye Storie' in one of her books, Urban fiction. I can't think of her name or the book title, I probably banished it from my mind for my own mental safety, Oh well, you're not missing anything,
I'm going to keep reading but if I rated it now it'd be a one, I doubt that'll change.
UpdateI can no longer go on, It's that bad. I wouldn't be surprised in the least if it came out that two different people wrote this and sitelinkCorporate Corner Boyz, CCB wasn't a bad book if memory serves, I'm sure it had editing issues and I'm sure it had other issues as well, maybe it needed some polishing, but it wasn't like this, This is pure trash. I'm sorry if that seems harsh but it's the truth, I don't understand why people think they can throw some words on paper and call themselves an author,
Okay, about this "book" there is no story, The characters are supposedly the same as in CCB but neither of the main characters are even remotely close in resemblance to the man on the cover and neither man is anything like how he was in CCB.
It's like Nicole just wanted to make a sequel and used the same characters but just wrote whatever came into her mind with no concern or thought for what she actually was saying.
It was, "He did this, Then he did that. Then she did something. He did something too. I'm flouring a chicken with the feathers still on, Then she did something else, " Spare me. I have too many books to be wasting my time on something like that,
It is a disappointment though because I really thought after CCB that this would be okay at the very least,
Note if you're the ghostwriter for this book you need to stop, If this was written by Nicole and CCB had a ghostwriter you need to write again under your own name because you actually may have something,
