This one was a real dud in that one of the girls was selfish and thoughtless throughout most the story I read, And she didn't take measure to redeem herself to her friend, Disappointed. This was a good book, but didn't stick above any other candy apple books I've read, I know that Celia was quite selfcentered, which is why this is not one of my favourite Candy Apple books, but I think that she learned from her mistakes in the consequences that she faced.
I think she definitely deserves a little more credit for being honest with her classmates because she basically told her entire grade that she was lying due to her own insecurities, which for ayearold who cares so much about what other people think is incredible character development.
