After doing a practical beekeeping course and reading another text, I thought this book was so interesting because of how Langstroth describes the ways beekeepers discovered the facts about bees we now take for granted.
This book is more philosophical than practical, but since I will be keeping Langstroth hives, and this book was recommended to me by a beekeeper I trust, I wanted to read it.
