purchased this book after hearing the authors interviewed on the Wired podcast Geeks Guide to the Galaxy, I had played my first DD in or around the spring of, For some reason I had little trouble convincing my Dad to buy me The Basic Set and the module 'The Palace Growing up with DD I thought this book would provide all the popular art in one package.
It does and so much, It provides a detailed history of DD in an actual interesting and fun way, I assumed the text would be a big bore and I would skip most of it, Wrong. This is As an's kid, I identify a lot with the content of this book even though I have never actually sat down and played a proper game of DDungeons and Dragons.

Art books this thick can often cost way, We had been too long without a DD art book, and this one is amazingly packed with great art and info, I thought I A Great history of the evolutin of DD art, as well as fantasy art, You can see how peak TSR art El, Easley co, run circles around anything before, or after them, The book itself is beautiful but it arrived damaged, There was no protection for it inside the box, it is all beat up and scratched from sliding around inside the box.
