Since it has been long OOP, the book occasionally gets a little expensive, but if you are patient, there are enough copies out there so that a decent copy will turn up at underbucks sooner or later.

It is a fantastic book of gigantic proportions and is fascinating, I especially like it for the jewellery and it has given me lots of ideas, Im not sure what all the fuss is about, This is a lovely book but the print quality is really dated, There are many other lovely photobooks of high qualitythese pix are worthy of modern printing technology, and I hope the book is reprinted, But I am returning this version, I'm a bead maker and jewelry designer and have checked "Africa Adorned" out of my local public library many times, When I saw it was available on I had to purchase it, I believe that it is now out of print and the >price tag was worth every penny, The book covers not only jewelry but sculpture, home construction and painting, and many other subjects all of which are revealing to anyone interested in the fashion and way of life in Africa.
