Get Hold Of My Mom Loves Me More Than Sushi Drafted By Filomena Gomes In Readable Copy
story is great for children, This is a great story when teaching children about different foods from around the world, The little girl in the story compares her mother's love to different foods from around the world for example: "my mom loves me more that sushi" as the title states, then she states
how she and her mom eat and prepare the dish, at the bottom of the page there is a tag telling what country the dish comes from.
Really cute simple story of a girl whose mother likes a lot of different dishes from around the world, but none more than the little girl, Lots of interesting countries featured that I wasn't able to find individual picture books on, like the Czech Republic and Egypt, ed by Me for Kids TeensReadToo, com
For one little girl and her mother, cooking together is a joy, Especially since they choose to cook foods from many different parts of the world, Although they love to be in the kitchen together, they both know that their love for each other far surpasses these delightful treats,
Together they make sushi, biscotti, houska, canja, couscous, megadarra, smorgastarta, crepes, jambalaya, and samosas,
This is a great bedtime story to introduce children to new foods from around the world, Hopefully, once they see the colorful illustrations and hear some of the ingredients of these new foods, they might even want to try them! Well, we can only hope.
"My mom loves me more than " for a series of foods from around the world,
You get some info about each food, but not much,
The illustrations are cute with a cat and dog doing silly things in each page spread,
However, it's weird to compare mom's love to foods that you can't tell she really loves in any special way, Great subject, cute book but I was a bit disappointed, Why I am not sure exactly but perhaps because the food wasn't well described both as to what it was, how it was made or what it tasted like.
I was also very disappointed that there were no recipes at the end, Not nearly the creative fun that the title suggested to me, this book instead features a food from various countries that the little girl makes with her mother, Nice, but there is no rhythm to the words and doesn't end up being much fun to read, In this delightful, utterly delicious picturebook, a little girl joins her mom to learn aboutand eatfabulous foods from around the world, Sushi, biscotti, houska, canja, couscous, megadarra, smogastarta, crepes, jambalaya and samosas all star in full color alongside a hilarious Siamese and a beagle who join in the family's culinary adventure.
There's even a dancing crayfish or two, .
