دان براون كل مرة بغزارة معلوماته
وثقافته الشاملة في مجالات عديدة

وكل مرة يختار براون موضوعا لرواية من رواياته
تجده قد تجهز جيدا ودرس وبحث
واستطاع عرض هذه المعلومات القيمة بطريقة
لا تسبب مللا ولا تنقص من تشويق روايته
بل بالعكس
تؤدي لإثرائها وتميزها عن أي رواية تشويق أخرى

وهذه المرة يبحر بي براون في عالمي المفضل
فدائما المجال العلمي يثير فضولي ومتعتي ورغبتي الدائمة في المعرفة

ومجال الفضاء يستهويني من أمد بعيد
أحب ناسا واكتشافاتها وطاقمها
ودوما أتذكر العظيم كارل سيجن
الذي كان أول من علمني أن العلم أكثر متعة بكثير
من أي فانتازيا خيالية في كتاب حكايات

لذا استمتعت بكل ما كان يتعلق بالنيازك والحفريات ومركبات الفضاء
وهذا الخيال العلمي المتشبث بالواقع
وهذه القدرة العجيبة لدى براون على التلاعب بنا كقراء مرة بعد مرة

أحببت راتشيل ولم أشعر بالخيبة كما توقعت
لأن روبرت شخصيتي الخيالية الجميلة الطيبة
لن يصحبني معه هذه المرة في محاولته لحل الألغاز

صحيح أن هناك شيء كبير مفقود بغيابه
إلا ان براون نجح في دمج عنصرا الخيال والتشويق
وقدم لنا مرة اخرى رواية محفزة للخيال مليئة بالمعلومات المبهرة

ألا تشعر أن دان براون احيانا يصنع رواياته وكأنه سيناريو لفيلم سينمائي
لأنني في هذه الرواية بالذات لم انفك أشعر بذلك

و على لسان مدير ناسا في الأحداث بالطبع أنه يوجد تأخر مقداره اثنتي عشر سنة بين ما يمكن أن تبنيه الحكومة و بين ما يعلم عنه الشعب
رواية مميزة جدا My favorite Dan Brown novel,

Just like his Robert Langdon series this is sometimes a little silly but, like the better Langdon novels, it's also a lot of pageturning fun.


It's about NASA's discovery of a meteorite in the Arctic ice which seems to contain evidence of extraterrestrial life, This would be a huge success for NASA after years of failure,

It also comes at a time of presidential election and with the current President and his challenger Senator Sexton having different stances as to what to do with NASA.

The discovery of the meteorite therefore becomes part of political powerplay in Washington and Sexton's daughter who's working for the NRO gets caught up in it.


She's sent to the Arctic along with oceanographer Michael Tolland and some other scientists and, suffice it to say, things do not go as planned and soon people are either running for their lives or searching for the truth or both.


The themes of that story are much more appealing to me compared to the other Dan Brown novels I've read, And this makes me much more willing to give him a pass for some of his cheap tricks and the odd scene that requires the suspending of disbelief.

تاریخ بهنگام رسانی هجری خورشیدی هجری خورشیدی ا, شربیانی This is the second book I have read from Dan Brown, I read The Da Vinci Code first, And, whoever read The Da Vinci Code would think this book does not measure up to the other Deception Point's penmanship,

But, I liked this book, This book has the same breathtaking suspense that does not let readers put down the book until the mystery is solved, I have officially read every Dan Brown book and I am begging for more, I did not find Deception Point as good as Dan Brown's other novels, but it was still an instant classic that kept me on my toes.


This novel was more of a political thriller, since it follows a secret NASA and the American Government have been hiding from the public.
It was a well thought out plot with great character development, but I wanted more out of the novel, I wanted a little more suspense and thrills in this novel similar to Digital Fortress,

This novel had nothing wrong with it other than me being selfish and wanting more action and thrills, I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a quick read with thrills and unexpected plot twists, A great novel!

I also want a sequel to this novel, since I want to see all the backlash that happens after the secret is discovered, and the continued building of relationships between some of the main characters.
But alas, I doubt we will get one anytime soon from Dan Brown, I will hope though. There is a lot of potential for the characters in this book for further novels, and potentially discovering other secrets different Governments or agencies have hidden away from the public.


Four out of five, since I wanted more action and thrills, This was read at the tailend of my brief Dan Brown phase let he who has never enjoyed an airportbookstore novel cast the first stone, and by this point I was getting a little tired of Brown's storytelling formula.
And by "formula", I really mean "formula", Here it is:

How To Make A Guaranteed Bestseller in Fifteen Minutes or Less
intelligent, bookishly handsome man who in no way is supposed to be Dan Brown of course not why do you ask
really intelligent, preferably foreign woman who has an IQ of like a billion but the important thing is she is hot and has very low standards as far as men go see protagonist
exotic locations, more if you prefer
full pages of technical/historical/whatever background information that serves only to show the audience how goddamn smart the author is
conspiracy theories found afterminute Google search
deathdefying situations and improbable escapes
villain of cartoonlevel evilness
OMG SO SCANDOLOUS revelations that will ROCK THE FUCKING WORLD

Blend until well combined or not so well combined, whatever bake atdegrees until it can be adapted for the screen in five minutes or less, serve hot to adoring public on plates made ofbills.

Very good and engaging, because it's by Dan Brown, but not as great as Inferno or The Daily Vince Code, Actual rating.Another fastpaced thriller dealing with the NSA from Dan Brown, I found this novel to be right on par with Digital Fortress and thought that it was a very wellwritten thriller, From start to finish Deception Point takes the ball and runs with it like any other Dan Brown thriller, I like that the plot moves around in scenery from the Arctic to Washington, DC and a few points inbetween keeping the action flowing and the characters moving around instead of being static in one place.
The characters are well written and believable and, in this book, Brown has written another very strong female lead character as he also did in Digital Fortress.


I don't know why these two novels didn't get the press that the Robert Langdon novels did, perhaps it's because they deal with the NSA instead of having a religious based theme that stirs up controversy.
Whatever the reason, if you enjoy Dan Brown's Robert Langdon novels or are just a fan of a good thriller, I'd recommend giving Deception Point a chance.

وقد كانت تلك آخر ما تبقى لي مع الرائع دان براون بغض النظر عن رواية الاصل فحقيقة الخديعة هي واحدة من عبقرياته
وهي ايضا ليست جزء من سلسلة روبرت لانغدون فلن تجدوا بطلنا الشهير في تلك الرواية

حرب جديدة ولكن هذه المرة تخرج من العاصمة الأمريكية واشنطن والحرب السياسية الانتخابية الساخنة بين هيرني الرئيس الحالي والسيناتور سيكستون الذي لن يتوقف حتى يصل الي الكرسي حتى لو على حساب نهاية اسرته نفسها

رحلة تبدأ من مكتب الاستطلاع مع راشيل سيكستون وطلب عاجل لمقابلة رئيس الولايات المتحدة زاك هيرني
لتجد نفسها تتنقل من طائرة لطائرة لتتوجه في النهاية الي القطب الشمالي و ميلاني الجرف الجليدي في كندا

حيث عثرت ناسا اخيرا وبعد طول انتظار على صخرة نيزكية بها مستحاثات حشرية

فضائية لتصبح الدليل الأهم على وجود حياة خارج كوكب الأرض
لتجد اسا نفسها تنتقل من رتبة دجال الي رتبة صانع المعجزات

إن الدفاع ضد الهجوم السياسي يحتاج إلى المنطق أما الدفاع ضد الهجوم الشخصي فيحتاج إلى العاطفة.
إن تصارع كل منهما معا هو عمل من المستحيل موازنته.

يتم احضار علماء مدنيين ليفصلوا في تلك المسألة وتخرج ناسا خارج اطار "مين يشهد للعروسة" ليثبتوا امام العالم عن طريق علماء محبوبون مقدما ومن خارج حدود ناسا ان تلك الصخرة والمستحاثات في داخلها حقيقيين تماما

لنخرج من اثبات وجود حياة خارج الارض لفساد سياسي من رأس امريكا الي اخمص قدميها
ليصل الفساد الي كل المؤسسات المهمة العلمية والسياسية داخل الحكومة

إن الحياة مليئة بالقرارات الصعبة فكر بذلك والفائزون هم أولئك الذين يحسنون القيام بها,

أفضل وسيلة للدفاع هي الهجوم بقوة

أحببت كالعادى تفاصيل دان براون والمعلومات العلمية الشديدة الأهمية والتحدث عن تقنيات واختراعات واجهزة واكتشافات حقيقية تماما وعلى ارض الواقع وفي منتهى التطور على الرغم من قدم الرواية نفسها
ولكن لم استطع ان اجد ما يمكنني ان اقول انه افسد متعتي بالرواية او تركيزي
بعض التفاصيل الزائدة ولكنها مهمة جدا لفهم الأحداث من كل الجوانب
لنصل من ذروة الاحداث لخاتمة مليئة بالمفاجآت المهمة والتغييرات ونهاية متقنة بدون تسرع ابدا

أنه يمكن السيطرة على جميع التحديات من خلال التحدث بالحقيقة مهما تكن طريقة لفظها,

احببتها بكل ما فيها ووقعت في غرامها كما وقعت في غرام كتابات دان براون عموما
