Very nice story with a satisfying ending and enjoyable illustrations, This was a favorite of both my boysand I read it many MANY times, Charlie and PopUp work together to repair Dumpy the dump truck,
i thought the story was pretty good, though the illustrations were just okay, My budding reader wasn't interested at all, I'm sure a boy would love it, but we were bored, And I shall dub this the Dumpy origins book, My nephew will enjoy it, Actually I think my tinkering niece will enjoy it as well, Once again focused on reaping the non monetary rewards of hard work and effort, Charlie and his grandfather decide to fix their dump truck, Dumpy, rather than getting rid of him, In like new shape, Dumpy becomes a valuable part of the farm, This is a lovely story about the value of fixing things and putting work into something,
