Awesome book. I need a hug. THis book was mean to me! Yes it may be a practical guide to gyming and yes it might make me more efficient but I am also really achy when I am done.

good guide. worth the buy! After beating myself up with the grueling routine the Governator prescribes in Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding, I wanted a routine that was more focused on building functional strength over making pretty muscles.
The size and strength gains I was getting with Arnold's routine were nice, but the routine took a long time and was incredibly tiring, especiallydays a week.


I found this book on Amazon, gave it a once over, and bought it, I've cut the time it takes me to do my routine in half, and I'm getting a complete body work out instead of isolating muscles.

If you have never done real workouts then you should get this book, Machines and bench press don't count as real, Coach Dos has a new follower, Yes, this is a Men's Health book, but dos Remedios has yet to write anything for women, You can watch him on youtube to get an idea of how fun and intense these workouts are, The best thing of all is that he's anti singlemuscle isolation, Reallife function rarely includes that kind of movement, As I reflect on my past experience, I can see that my favorite and most effective workouts rarely included isolation the Pilates reformer and The Firm workout.
