Gather Trapped! The Adulterous Woman (Hidden Faces #1) Illustrated By Golden Keyes Parsons Visible In Softcover
am completely sold on the literary abilities of Golden Keyes Pearson, From pageI did not want to put this Novella down, It grabs your attention and NEVER let's it Go, This fictional historic novella is SO REALISTIC, I think what's highlighted in this one is THE FORGIVENESS, COMPASSION, and MERCY of Jesus! I love how Golden kept the story and characters true to their time, culture and traditions.
I'm ready for the next book in this series, . HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Best novella in this group yet, I couldn't put it down! Awesome! Fantastically researched, A stranger approaches Annas house in the oppressive heat of the late afternoon before Sabbath, Shielding her eyes against the penetrating rays of the sun, she recognizes the familiar gait and realizes he is no stranger, Her hand begins to tremble as in a brief moment of panic she fleetingly entertains thoughts of picking up her baby and running.
But there is no place to run, Her mind flashes back to the events leading up to the present,
Thus begins the story of a woman whose foolish heart led her into a trap intended to frame Jesus, The Messiah confounds the Pharisees who masterminded the plot and extends compassion and forgiveness to Anna, Now the man who lured her into the complicit scheme has sought her out and confronts her, Will she refuse to see him, or will she listen to his plea for forgiveness Golden Keyes Parsons is one of those rare authors that seems to transport the reader effortlessly to another time and place.
In this case, Biblical times, It's as if I was really there, witnessing this woman's pain, rejection and hardshipsand her meeting with the man who knows her heartcompletely.
Wonderful read! Can't wait to read new book, GoGo!! Xoxo I honestly got goose bumps when I read the last line of Golden Keyes Parsonss novella, Trapped.
What a glorious and tender way to end this sweet and yet rawwithhonestemotion story, I loved it.
Trapped is apage novella of the Hidden Faces series, Its a short read, but one that takes you into a biblical event surrounding a figure in history that we know so little about.
And yet this womans true storywhen she was thrown at the feet of Jesus as an adulterous and immoral womanhas touched so many hearts over the centuries.

Bravo once again, Golden Keyes Parsons,
Ill admit I had trouble at the beginning of this short book/novella, I couldnt get into it, I felt confused. I set it aside for quite a while,
But when I went back to finish it, the second half was so good! I really got into it, I dont know if it was just me at the beginning or not, but Im glad I picked the book up again, There were some great twists at the end I didnt see coming that delighted besides the obvious one,
Now I want to read the rest in this series,
I met the author and was so saddened at her tragic passing in a car crash in February,, She had such a tender heart for sharing Jesus with others, Im glad her writing lives on,
Nice story
This is the first time I've read this author, The story was good but I got distracted sometimes by the typos, The author's notes gave insight to the text and made me stop and think about "Anna's" story, It was also a good reminder that God loves unconditionally, Golden Keyes Parsons is a popular retreat and conference speaker, author of historical novels and an ordained pastor, Her book, In The Shadow Of The Sun King, Thomas Nelson Publishing, first in a four book series based on her family genealogy, released Fall, and was named a finalist in the ACFWs Book of the Year Debut Author category.
