another book to read in one go, AbbyampWest are happy and something happens, not a twin though, . . its their love strong to get trough the tough rough paths that cross their love!, . .
Anna, i really love your writting and as usual i cant put the book down until im done with it!! u're addicting!!! This one i think its worth thestars!!! and cant wait for book!!! pretty please!!!
people ready Anna Cruise books!!! xoxo I was so happy when I found this book! I loved Abby and west in the first and knew this wasn't going to disappoint.
It was a fast read devoured it pretty fast, Read it! After reading It Was You, I wondered where this story could go, but I wasn't disappointed, This story returns to Abby and West, and a chance for West to realise his dreams as a baseball player and an opportunity to play at College with a full scholarship, but Abby has some news that shatters both of their worlds.
Anna writes a wonderful romance story, full of tension and drama, I really enjoyed it was you but I loved it was me!! I totally fell in love with West, he was amazing although I wanted to throttle Abby!! And I still hate Annika I don't think that will ever change!! Looking forward to it was us!! Another great Anna Cruise read :
If you don't fall in love with West while reading It Was You, then you probably will during It Was Me.
He is awesome! I love his tenacity, . . and I love the way he loves Abby,
This was another quick read that was hard to put down, I read it in a day and although I struggled through a few chapters nearer the end, it was only because I was desperate for a quick resolution.
The banter between Abby and West continues to be awesome and it was nice to see Annika's character soften just a little, Griffin is in this book a lot more and he becomes more and more likeable as the book goes on,
If you enjoyed It Was You then you'll like this book too, . . another passionate, romantic story that is worthy your time : This was possibly worst that the first, That Abby chick was an idiot and selfish, don't know what the dude saw in her, We'll on to the next book, . . IT WAS ME IT WAS YOUby ANNA CRUISE
As expected, Anna did not disappoint, It Was Me was everything I was hoping for, She did an awesome job in writing a sequel to It Was Me and I want more,
I have to admit though, its been so long since I have read It Was Me amp before I read this book, my memories of the first installment is a bit of a blur.
But when I read the first sentence of Chapter, it all came back and I was so excited to know what happened to Abby amp West,
If you have read It Was Me, you will definitely love this book, You will love Abby amp West even more, or mostly West because in this story, he is still as relentless as he were in book, And his persistence amp determination for their relationship to work is admirable, This series is not a long one but you will love every thing in it, There was less drama in this book compared to bookand in here, we get to see Abby amp West move up a notch in their relationship.
I like that Anna is giving us a slowly but surely rundown of Abby and Wests relationship, Shes taking her time in telling their story and I appreciate that, Not every story can be told in one orbooks and I would love to read more from this series and see how thecharacters mature amp move forward.
Annika is still part of the story, unfortunately but she is trying to redeem herself in this book, I like that she is trying and as much as I hate to admit it, I would like to read her story, Just to know what is going on inside her crazy head and hoping that she will find that guy who will show her what it is to be loved.
Fans of Abby amp West will love this story and maybe devour this book in one sitting like I did, This is one of those short and lovely series that I like and you will too, :
Also posted on my TUMBLR account amp AMAZON
sitelink tumblr. com/post I absolutely love West, . like to death. I was excited when I learned that It Was Me was told in his POV, I loved being in his head and hearing his thoughts,
The story line was AHMAZING, Anna Cruise did not disappoint with telling West amp Abby's story, I thought that after It Was You, West and Abby would have their HEA instead I now know they get HEAFN HEA for now, Ms. Cruise writes so that when you read, you feel the emotions , and I won't lie It Was Me had me crying like a baby at one point.
Besides, West and Abby we see more of Annika queue eye roll although she does play a big helpful part in the story I just don't like her and don't know if I ever will.
However, if she gets her own story I'll probably read it, We all love to hear stories about people we hate, right
Oh, amp let's not forget about Tana amp Griffin's run in at the apartment! OMG I just about died! I would definitely like to see more about their story and where it might lead.
I would also like to know if Griffin is able to increase his stamina, wink wink
Bottom line read this book because it does not disappoint, We get to see West amp Abby's story come a bit closer to the HEA but not totally, there's not really a cliffhanger but their story can be expanded more because honestly what couple has their happily ever after after justyear.
Also, I've said this before but after reading It Was Me you'll definitely want to move to San Diego, Just a warning. I think I may have liked West's POV more than Abby's! There were times in both these books that West borderlined coming off like Mark Wahlberg's character in FEAR.
Not as extreme at all, but a little obsessed, Did I care No. : More later! West is so sweet! Abby is a lucky girl to have such a wonderful support system while her mom is fighting cancer, Great story. After a bit of struggling with books this morning as I tried two books before this one and they were both DNF, I felt in the mood to read a book that I knew would not be an automatic DNF for me as I love Anna Cruise's books, It has been a few years since I read the first book in the series, but due to my memory, I remember what happened well enough anyway.
At the end of Book, Abby and West were trying to salvage their relationship as Annika had tricked West into thinking she was Abby, This, of course, caused a rift between the twins and West, Things have been going strong for the pair of them and Abby's annual family trip to Arizona is coming up and this time around they have invited West.
With Annika not going, West reluctantly agrees, The pair has fun and Abby's family talks West into trying for the Baseball open tryouts, West goes along to see if he still has it and is offered a full ride to the University of Arizona, His only condition is that wherever he goes, Abby will be there as he isn't doing anything without her, They plan to attend and everything is going well, that is until they get back and wham bam Abby starts to ghost him and without any explanation breaks up with him.
What happened between their trip and now Has West lost the only good thing in his life Can he prove to Abby that without her in his life, that nothing else matters to him, not even Baseball OMG the second half of this book had me going Noooo, this can't happen they aren't supposed to break up especially after everything they have been through as this couple is one of those HEA couples for life.
I was glad that West persevered and I was surprised to see Annika trying to make up for the past as she redeemed herself in Book, I'm not sure how long it will take me to get too Bookbut readers I will get their eventually : This next book was so addicting I had to go ahead and finish up the series before I could post my review.
So my thoughts are being based off of the series as a whole there arebooks in total,
It Was You Abby and West
It Was Me Abby and West
It Was Us Abby and West
These characters had me from the first chapter.
I really enjoyed Abbys spunk and her desire to be an individual, All her life she has been in the shadow of her twin, Annika, This is not the typical sibling relationship and there is definitely no twin connection that one would expect, The author did a great job at creating the individual personalities of both Abby and her twin Annika, From the moment we are introduced to Annika, you just get that icky feeling about her, Her actions, words and demeanor are exactly what her personality is portrayed asdeceptive, manipulative and just plain evil, Now, I did not like Annika but I did like that we are not told that she is all of this nastiness but we got to feel it and experience it through Abby and her heartbreak over her sisters actions towards her.
We are given a good amount of background into the sisters childhood, so Abbys decision to want to break free from what is expected and to get out from under Annikas shadow is a great move.
We as the reader can also better understand Abbys hesitancy towards romantic relationships and creating new friendships,
Introducing West Mongomery,
From the moment West makes an appearance, you know that it is fate, West and Abbys personalities complement each other very well, The romance or rather lust did build pretty fast, however the secrets that both keep from one another obviously plays a huge role in their rollercoaster relationship.
I really enjoyed watching these characters grow from bookto book, There were moments where the plot line was a little too obvious however knowing was going to happen really didnt bother me because I was more interested in how Abby and West were going to deal with the consequences of their actions.
In bookIt Was You, we get to know Abby and her family dynamics while in bookIt Was Me, is more focused on West, BookIt Was Us, is both Abby and West and a really sweet conclusion for these characters,
There will be moments where you will want to cuss and scream and cause bodily harm to both Abby and West because some of their decisions are just stupid.
This is where the obvious outcome of their actions plays into my previous comment, However, they do learn from their mistakes and it helps solidify the relationship,
Allbooks are told in alternating points of view, There is sex and language,
sitelink facebook. com/justmorecha Needs a book . . : : All West Montgomery wanted was a vacation, A weeklong stay in Tucson with Abby and her parents, a chance to get away for the week, the opportunity to get to know her family a little better and maybe carve out a little alone time with his girlfriend.
What he doesn't count on is finding a way to resume his baseball career,
Encouraged by Abby and her father to attend a MLB open tryout, West discovers that he can still play ballwelland he suddenly becomes the hottest commodity on the field.
Overwhelmed with offers and possibilities, West knows that whatever choice he makes will affect more than his baseball career, It will affect his future with Abby,
Professional baseball was always his dream, but Abby was a new dream come true, He doesn't want to choose between them, but in order to fulfill one of those dreams, West will have to,
Because he knows it's all on him, Usually I love the first book in a series, so much more than any other book, The first book is when you learn about the characters and the plot, However, as much as I loved It Was You, I have to say, It Was Me is SOOO much better! Both characters have their issues, and then to mix in the family drama, just adds to the story.
The only thing I question, possibly for the third book, is the lack of condom usage, There is never a mention of protected sex, Its a wonder how Abby is not pregnant yet, .
