Catch Hold Of Too Consumed (Consumed, #2) Crafted By Skyla Madi Provided As Volume

GOOD FOLLOW UP BOOK

This is the second book in this series and I believe there is another to follow this.
It was lovely to read more of Seth and Olivia, this time Seth is preparing for a big fight in LA.
Olivia is supportive of Seth, she now manages her late fathers gym where Seth trains,
Characters from the first book also feature, including Selena Olivia's BF and Jackson Seth's friend, The sub plot involving them was an added bonus, Jackson has some serious baggage from his past, so I expect there will be more of that in the next book.

Seth is as sexy and possessive as ever but this time round we get to see his more vulnerable side to his character which was nice.
Olivia is as loyal and protective of Seth as he is of her, I really liked the way they communicated and sorted out any problems between them as and when that happened that was a refreshing change not to have long and drawn out misunderstandings.
As usual the love scenes are really hot and passionate, Seth's main enemy rears his ugly head again providing the drama, I'm really looking forward to the next book,
Another hit

No pun intended, I love this series so much! Oh, and Seth, . . Oh, sweet Lord baby Jesus, Seth, I love him so, so much, Especially after this book, that gives you a chance to get inside his head, This series is about fighting, not only in the ring or for your dreams, it's about fighting for love, and who wouldn't fight for that If you loved the first one, you will love this one.
RECOMMENDED TO THE HIGHEST DEGREE! I couldn't wait to write my review because I knew how nervous Skyla was about this book.
She had zero reason to be,

Authors, take note, THIS is how you write a second book, There was no needless drama, No stupid actions. Justpeople in a relationship making it work, It was also HOT as HELL, I loved every minute.

I know some people love Remy, From this moment forward myMMA guy will always be Seth,

I'm looking forward to the next book! Dear sitelinkSkyla Madi,

for

a Writing a sequel that wasn't filled with unnecessary drama.

The drama that was there wasn't juvenile, it wasn't dragged out for half of the book.
There weren't a bunch of breakups and fights,

b Not having the heroine have a personality transplant from bookto book,

Olivia was still funny, feisty, strong willed and independent,

c Seth.

I loved all of Seth's caveman ways, How willing he was to admit his love for Olivia, without shame,

Seth and Olivia together were fun, they were HOT, they were

And most importantly.
.

d No pregnancies!

Now, just a word about Serena,

Based on her personality in Consumed and Too Consumed, not a fan. I hope she's just been misrepresented and we see a new, improved more likable Serena in Relinquishing Control.

Sincerely,

J I did it all for the nookie, The book nookie Let's start off with the positives, .

I really enjoyed "Consumed" and was excited to pick up on where the first book left off in Seth and Olivia's story.
It started off well enough as the reader is ushered into this world of MMA fighting as Seth is preparing for his first fight in the professional league in Vegas.
Olivia and Seth are fresh in their relationship and quite in love, In the last book Seth bought Olivia's deceased father's gym and hired her to manage it, This set up was quite convenient for the lovers as they

got the opportunity to engage in their sexy banter, playful moments and to serve as a support group for one another.
And, their sexual chemistry is really good, Both Seth and Olivia speak very fondly of one another and are always talking about how attracted they are to one another So where was the problem

The problem is that something was off in the energy level of both sexual and the general scenes in this book.
The sexual scenes were frustrating most of the times, First of all, the abstinence between Seth and Olivia was overdrawn and just ridiculous, How frustrating that Jackson and Selina Seth and Olivia's best friends have a more interesting and plentiful sex life than the leads.
So, when Seth and Olivia finally come together, it's rather anticlimactic, and who enjoys anticlimactic sex scenes There were a few sex scenes where both lovers enjoyed themselves equally, but otherwise the sex scenes seemed to be stilted and Seth held back.
which was just weird.

Another problem is that Olivia came across as a stick in the mud, What She'd rather go to her room and finish her book instead of celebrate with Seth postwin, leaving him to celebrate with Jackson, Selina and his crew alone.
AND in Vegas What the There were other times when Olivia just came across as childish, petulant and preferred solitude when she should have worked it out quickly with her man.
On the flip side, I still really liked Seth in this book, I don't mind flaws in the leads and, believe me, both Seth and Olivia have many flaws, but overall Seth's character was a lot more likable than Olivia's.
This book showcased vintage Seth he's confident, speaks his mind, can be demanding, but he's also sweet and likes to work things out by talking things through.
Even Seth's jealous, overprotective side was likable,

Also, most of the general scenes were "off," in that, Madi didn't really allow the reader to enjoy the highs in this book because each scene where there is a fabulous high seemed to be weighed down by a crappy low.
I also thought the parts with Mason and Blade's interaction with Olivia was also anticlimactic,

Overall, I was disappointed with this book, but most of all I was really frustratedlike it put me in a bad moodfrustrated.
I haven't given up though, I still plan to read the final installment Forever Consumed when it is released.

Narrator: Em Eldridge was excellent! She did a fabulous job with both Seth and Olivia's voices.

Lastly, I hated the use of the Fword inserted in between Jesus Christ so unnecessary and offensive.
I hope this is not a trend among authors, Another one I couldn't rate because I actually didn't finish the book, I just couldn't. Tell you why in a moment,
First up props to the author for actually having Dual POV's this time! Yay no stuck in Olivia's head for the whole book.
Saying that however, I got to likein and had to give up, I thought after book one maybe these characters would improve and they would just be, . . together if you know what I mean, You know how in some books characters are so attunted to each other they're just flawless Well sadly thiswas not to be with seth and Olivia.
I know I maybe i nthe minority here but I really couldn't give a toss because I felt after everything they went through together as a couple if you could call them and their erratic moods that in the first book, they would just be!

Olivia As soon as I started her chapter I realised how mow I just don't like her! I just don't.

Seth I couldn't get a read on his character and being the male lead and after a first book, I'm guessing that's not good.
I should be able to say something about him, feel something about him,

To me, with how far into it I got, it felt a bit weird and diconnected.
Seth and Olvia's scences together felt off, boring, dry, plain, bland, They were like young kids trying to figure their way around each other with the way their actions felt disjointed.
I mean for a reformed manwhore and a girl who had a manwhore ex you think they would have a bit more.
. . a bit more sigh just a bit more!

Sorry gonna leave this series where it is all the best to the author with her future endeavours.

This one fell a little flat for me, for some reason,

I loved Seth Marc and Oliva in the Consumed, I thought it was really an awesome story especially when I was already coming off my Remy high from reading 'Mine' last month.

So when Too Consumed came out, it was really a no brainer on picking it up and falling in love with this couple all over again.

But the story line didn't do much for me, In fact really nothing happened in this book at all, I mean NOTHING.

There is no drama between Olivia and Seth, they are in love, he wants to marry her, she loves him.
. She is dealing with life after her father passing away in book one and she is helping her mom cope.
Outside of an enemy of Seth's who we met in book one, . NOTHING happens in this book, I felt often times like we were reading about a totally different couple, I needed a bit more substance, and I think that is why it took me over a week to read it.

SO if you are wondering why I still have itstars, it's because the writing is not bad, and I still loved reading about Seth and Olivia and Selena and Jacksonalthough we talked about them too much which makes me feel that there is a book coming out with the two of them as the MC's soon I just felt like we were a tad bit ripped off and that this book was used as a filler for something else.
I wanted to see something happen with Mason, and it in general just felt way too, . nice. .

.consumed!

I was generously provided an ARC by the author for an honest review.
Thank you!

With DDay quickly approaching for his first professional fight, Seth Marc, now has everything hes ever dreamed of: a budding career and the previously unthinkable girl of his dreams.

Only with new trysts, new challenges, an old enemy, as well as insecurities and old flames trying to work themselves into the picture how will it all turn out Will Seth get to hold onto what hes fought so hard to quench What about Olivias dreams With her life just revolving around Seth and his gym will it be enough And will these lovers get their HEA Read and you will find out!

Too Consumed, was a lovely read and did not disappoint me in any way.
I liked how both Seth and Olivia are flawed in their own way and yet they are what each other needs in their lives.

Both characters have their own set of issues and uncertainties that they battle throughout the course of the story and its interesting to see how it all turns out.
Im not saying that its all hearts and rainbows throughout this because its not, Often at times, when these obstacles did happen, I wanted to slam both of their heads together because they were so stubborn!! Seth is very aggressive and head on whereas Olivia could be the same when provoked but is naturally more timid and reserved.
Very interesting combination wouldnt you say Especially, when you see how they work things out and confront things of past and present.

An exemplary and steamy read!! Pheew! fans self Definitely worth waiting for!! I now cant wait for Forever Consumed which looks like to be the final installment in their story!!
