Obtain The Husband Shed Never Met Translated By Barbara Hannay Displayed In Version
sorry to say this was a waste of my time, I like stories that feature amnesia but this one just didn't cut it for me,
Carrie is leaving her husband but before she can, an accident makes her lose her memory, She doesn't even know the man is her husband and what happens when she gets all her memories back
This was a predicable story that could've used a better plot.
I don't recommend this for anyone, I rate it PGfor mild swearing and sexual content, It is a long time since I have read a story about amnesia and this one is beautiful make sure you have some tissues handy as you journey along a path that has ups and downs but will bring Carrie and Max back together as they once were and have you smiling.
Carrie meets and falls in love with cattleman Max Kincaid at the wedding of
a friend she is a city girl living in Sydney and against her mother's wishes she marries the love of her life and moves to the outback cattle station in Queensland and learns about her father learns to ride a horse and be an excellent wife, Max has been running Riverslea Downs since his parents retired but this cattle station has been in the Kincaid family for overyears a legacy to be passed down for many years to come.
So when afterwonderful years of marriage Carrie decides that she is not happy and leaves the cattle station after a visit to Sydney Max is shocked and devastated but when Carrie has a riding accident and wakes up with amnesia and cannot remember any part of her life after living in Sydney Max needs to take things slowly and when Carrie is so drawn to the man that is her husband she can understand how she must have loved him her heart races and they get closer but when her memory returns her sadness returns also.
This is really a magical story that will pull you in from the first page a must to read the setting is beautiful and well Max and Carrie are made for each other I loved the strength that Carrie shows with what she is going through and the love they have for each other will bring good tears to your eyes.
I highly recommend this one don't miss it, Nice story line where couple gets a second chance at their HEA following a diagnosis of infertility, Smooth flow, good editing and characters that were likeable, Utterly marvellous in every way, I really enjoyed this story and couldn't stop reading, Carrie has lost her memory so while she doesn't remember this man who says he's her husband, she also doesn't remember that she planned to leave him.
Or why! But when she does, it wasn't for the reasons Max expected that she no longer wanted to live in the isolated outback or that she'd fallen out of love with him.
This is an emotionally engaging story that feels real with honest reactions, I loved it. I also enjoy Barbara's work because she writes about my local community and I enjoy reading about my town in Mills and Boon novels.
What would you do if you had amnesia, and there were obviously difficulties with your marriage Carrie doesn't quite know what's caused some sort of rift in her marriage with Max, particularly when she realises she still loves him.
A beautiful second chance at love, Barbara Hannay is always magic, "A mystery filled with intertwining secrets makes Hannays story all the more interesting, Readers will enjoy the ups and downs and appreciate the hardearned journey Carrie and Max endure" RT Book s,stars, Love the suspense in this book that I was kept on guessing until close to the end to find out what did happened that makes Carrie ran away from her husband, Max and then the accident happened when Carrie got thrown off the horse and lost her memory of meeting Max and marry him.
And the twist that Carrie's mom, Sylvia who seems not to like Max at all, knowing Max lives in the outback that could be sounded so isolated and far away and perhaps maybe want the best for Carrie to be happy and maybe lived as a city girl more than being a wife to an outback rancher like Max.
Absolutely adore Carrie and Max's journey to find love again and then as the secret revealed, they believed that they could conquer it after all if they are willing to trust in each other.
Second chance romances is one of my favourite plots, Carrie is about to leave her husband for reasons unknown, Fate intervened and Carries fell off her horse and her memory of her troubled marriage and of her husband Max were lost to her.
As Carrie recovers and waits for her memory to come back, Max seized the opportunity to win his wife back, I enjoyed this couple's journey, Max is a really likeable character, He is patient, loving and a hard worker, At the end of the day it was Carrie's self doubts and lack of communication which cause all the heartache, Love won at the end, Waking up with amnesia!
Waking up from a riding accident, Carrie Kincaid's world is turned upside down when she can't remember the man in front of herher husband! He sets her heart racing, but every memory with tycoon Max is a blur.
For Max, this is a last chance to save their marriage, Until her memory returns, he will recreate the moments that shaped their romance, one magical date at a time! It's a race against time to help her rediscover all the reasons why they fell in love in the first place Multi award winning author, Barbara Hannay, is a city bred girl with a yen for country life.
