was fun learning about British history but it was also confusing because they made a lot of jokes and it just put me off because I didn't know if they were joking or not.

My Rating/Paints a completely different picture of the British Empire! Very funny, and very interesting, which I think is a good combination.
If you normally HATE history the you'll find sitelinkTerry Deary very good as he combines fun and facts very well, I also enjoyed all the quizzes, OK, so it's a kids book, it was lying around the house, I picked it up amp couldn't put it down again :D I got to say this
