review down the road,

Photographing the Dead Nameless: Season One
by Dean Koontz, Edoardo Ballerini Narrator

Following Nameless on another commission to rid the world of evil by making the predator pay in the worst of ways, we head to Death Valley.
At the same time a pair of identical twins women are beginning a multiday hike, The predator is on the move, always needing to sate unquenchable thirsts,

I often have trouble with short stories because there isn't enough time to help me feel satisfied with what is happening but this six part series of short stories is really just one long story.
Since they've all been published I don't have to wait for the next one to be published so it's like I'm getting to hear the entire book at once.
I think only Nameless will carry over to the next story but I sure did like the twins in this story, Their dialogue was funny and I would have liked for them to be around longer,

This is the second audiobook in the six book series called Nameless that is available with a Kindle Unlimited subscription, This pulled me in as Nameless continued his drive for bestowing justice on killers and abusers in the most just manner,
I liked when some parts of his memories returned which gave me an idea of what could have been his personal life,
This book left me eager to get to book
A vigilante who was part psychic too This is the second short story that is part of a series by Dean Koontz and I believe it is only available through Amazon.
In this one, Nameless yeah that is his name is sent out again to stop an evil sociopath, Once again, Nameless is backed by an organization that has fountains of knowledge and funds that the authorities do not have,

I have to say that I did enjoy this book much more than the first offering and now I am definitely intrigued by this series, The first book was set up as we get introduced to Nameless and his mission, With that out of the way for this story we dived right into the meat of it and I enjoyed it so much more, Part of the lure of these stories is Nameless and his backers, We really don't know much about them but that is the fun part of the mystery, How

do they know all about these evil doers and what exactly is their purpose The twist at the end of this story was terrific and put a smile on my face.

I wasn't really sold on this series after the first story, I am now with the completion of the second one, I want answers and I look forward to finding these answers in the upcoming stories, Classic Koontz, but over way too soon, The second book in the "Nameless" series, even better than the first, audio and story. This one was much better than the first episode,
It felt like a different author wrote it,
The writing and the story was direct, clear and very engaging,.stars

Liked it slightly less than the first, the inner monologues were a little bit too long for how short these books are, sitelinkBook Blog sitelinkBookstagram

Twisted and to the point, but would have loved to see the misogynistic serial killer get his karma in a more satisfying way.

This one was just okay too, I think I am getting a bit disappointed since Nameless doesn't really need to go toe to toe with the bad guys, They end up caught, he with help disposes of them, We get some clues to his past in this one, I wish all of the bad guys didn't have some weird God complex, The first two in this series sound similar,

"Photographing the Dead" has Nameless hunting down another serial killer, This one gets off by photographing the men and women he comes across and kills, Nameless trails the killer and we also follow two young women who are set to be married in a few months, We have a sense that if Nameless doesn't stop the killer, these two women are going to be his next victims,

Well we get a better sense of Nameless in this one, He also appears to be a Paul Newman hater, For shame Nameless, for shame,

“Newman made a number of movies where he relied too much on his looks and charm, But he was sometimes great, You ever see Hud”

He done lost his damn mind, Newman was a snack and he could act,

The mysterious Ace of Diamonds is still mysterious, I got nothing on this person or persons yet,

The two young women, Mia and Kara love to hike and are off hiking together prior to marrying, Of course they both carry weapons and know how to use them, That is me rolling my eyes, Koontz can never miss a chance to write about guns, I rolled my eyes reading about Nameless's gun of choice too,

The writing was okay, I got bored reading about how the serial killer had some pretty big connections, As I said above, the serial killer had a similar mindset to the last guy so I was just okay, you're super evil and superior too, got it.
The flow was okay, this one was much shorter so maybe that had something to do with it,

I forgot to mention that in this one and last story had a pretty cool illustration, Other than that though, the series is already sounding samey, I wonder if we had a bunch of mystery/thriller authors try to write about Nameless this would be more interesting,

The ending is definitely a surprise, got to love how Ace of Diamonds wanted to take care of things, This story leaves things open to the fact that maybe Nameless is starting to remember some things, Another quick and fun read, Nameless is a great character and I love how meticulous he is when it comes to the next mission, I could read a hundred of these, and I hope someday I'll get to! Well plotted and quickly paced thriller, Tidy, satisfying ending. Rating:./.

Genre:
Thriller

This is the second installment in this series, Nameless continues doing what he knows best as a vigilante, This time he is after psycho photographer who is targeting random tourists and hikers, This story was enjoyable too as the first one, Fastpaced and short too.

This story has still not given us any idea about the background of Nameless, More of a., but another enjoyable entry in the collection,

I am ashamed to admit that the punishment made me so happy, “The man who is not” and his team are really flamboyant, I am enjoying this series, The story continues This second installment in Koontz' "Nameless" series is very good and even better than the first,.stars! This one had a very fitting end, I was quite pleased, : There's also a tiny peek into what I think maybe might a bit of Nameless's own past, We shall see.

Another excellent narration by Edoardo Ballerini, who is new to me as reader, but he sets the perfect tone for Nameless, “The photographer had been trolling for victims in Death Valley, It is the nature of his evil that, once his appetite for murder has been aroused, he will become ever more ravenous until he has satisfied it, ”
Nameless

“Justice is often in the eye of the beholder what is justice to some can look like injustice to others, Justice can be politicized, but truth cannot truth is what it is, ”
Nameless Another great installment in the Nameless series, I really enjoy these books, An unnamed man works for a secret agency and he is a vigilante, righting wrongs and seeking revenge on those who have done terrible crimes the Avenger, This installment is about a successful photographer that hunts people in in Death Valley so appropriate then photographs them, The photographer is a master in disguise and very clever, Im reading through this series, I love the twists in them and admit Im a justice oriented person so love it when the score is settled, .
