The twist in this was amazing, God I love Star Wars, This didn't really "feel" like Boba Fett, . . too much dialog from him, . .
/”Oh, I dont know, Living in a dream, a memory If it was the right dream or a fond memory things could be worse, ”

,/!

Someone stole Han Solo, frozen in carbonite, from Boba Fett, and he is determined to find out who it was, kill them and get his cargo back.

This was a cool issue, and I liked the big reveal, Unfortunately I got spoiled on what it was, but it was still a great moment that made me super hyped for the future of this series and the character that appeared! I love this character a lot, and I'm intrigued to see what Soule had in store for them.
The comics are doing so much in terms of making this universe and all the different movies, shows, books and other stories feel connected, This issue was a great example of that,

I'm really enjoying the War of the Bounty Hunters crossover event so far! Hot damn Crimson Dawn and Hans old lady love! This really is worth reading though I think the pub order is even wrong in the back of the comics.
I guess Ill have to figure it out as I go It's always challenging to review a comic that leans so heavily on a last page reveal that it spends the entire issue building to.
Suffice it to say that you will figure it out before you reach the final page, but that doesn't make it any less awesome or welcome,

But, yeah, Boba Fett discovers Jabba has placed an bounty on his head after having had the carbonite encased Han Solo stolen from him, and he's on a mission to find out why, who stole Han and to both get him back and murder whoever was responsible.

I'm not the greatest fan of Luke Ross's artwork, but it's genuinely great here, This is a much more comicbooky looking comic than we've been used to in Marvel's Star Wars run, but the combination of some really great backgrounds and a much lighter colouring palette than we're used to seeing in these books makes for a fine looking comic.

The writing is as good as we've come to expect from Charles Soule, He's crafting a complex and winding tale that draws in pretty much every faction in the galaxy and I doubt that this issue's last page reveal will be the only surprise in this mammoth crossover event.
As someone who hasn't read the other recent Marvel comic series in connection with the crossover event, I found this story easy to follow and exciting enough to want to continue.

The coloration wasn't my favourite while the drawings themselves look quite good and the plot seems promising!
The end reveal didn't shock me as I figured it out about halfway through the comic, but I love that they're connecting stories from movies with the literary canon this way.
I'll definiely continue reading the series! Star Wars: War of the Bounty Hunters“Most Wanted”
“Do you suppose it hurt Being FROZEN like this”

Great start

This is a great start to this series.
I can't wait to find out more! Charles Would has done a great job with this venue, Beautiful panel coloring, a complex and fresh storyline, and one ruthless Boba Fett,

And the ending,Overall a solid story, though I can't help but feel like the writing for Boba Fett is a bit off, He's too talkative.

I also have zero interest with this being tied into anything from Solo, Could see the twist coming a mile away, . . Not too bad though.out ofSo I know the return of a certain character is the main point of discussion, But I just wanna take a moment to appreciate the way Boba Fett goes up against Zuckuss andLOM as he is being hunted for taking too long to deliver Solo to Jabba.
The bounty hunter duo's fates feel ambiguous enough for them to return of a writer ever wants to use them later in the timeline, When Fett goes to Jabba's palace, he means business,

And of course, Solo in carbonite is with Lady Qi'ra of Crimson Dawn, That's right, we have a Solo: A Star Wars Story thread being picked up, However, I have mixed feelings about it, Here's why.

I think the comic book appearance of Qi'ra at the time when Han is in carbonite means that

we can kiss "Solo" in liveaction form goodbye, At least as Jon Kasdan may have envisioned it, I remember when he said the end of Solo: A Star Wars Story was the end of Han amp Qi'ra "Act Two," and that he had an "Act Three" in mind.
Presumably, that still would've been prior to the original trilogy, At War of the Bounty Hunters' point in the timeline, however, there's no way for Han and Qi'ra to talk, and there wouldn't really be a need for it after Return of the Jedi, when Han is already with Leia.

What I am curious about, though, is whether there might be some setup here for Qi'ra to appear in the postROTJ liveaction shows, Maybe The Book of Boba Fett I guess we'll have to see how her fate plays out here, I think it's a safe bet that she makes it out alive, though, Charles Soule write the best Boba Fett, Love the dialogue. Love the characters. Love the interactions with the other bounty hunters, Boba Fett comics have been pretty mediocre in the post but this is off to one hell of a start, That ending

Charles Soule is on fire! AT WAR FOR THE GREATEST PRIZE OF ALL: HAN SOLO! THE HUNT BEGINS! Nobody, Steals. From BOBA FETT! The notorious bounty hunter will not stop until he gets whats rightfully his, For the thief, no corner of the galaxy is safe, Good thing for them that the REBEL ALLIANCE, THE EMPIRE and every bounty hunter in the galaxy is standing in Bobas way, With a lastpage reveal that will blow this Death Starsized story wide open, Issueis just the beginning, The biggest crossover in STAR WARS history will continue raging through the pages of the WAR OF THE BOUNTY HUNTERS event miniseries and tiein to STAR WARS, DOCTOR APHRA, DARTH VADER and BOUNTY HUNTERS through October.
Only one hunter will be left standing, and the STAR WARS galaxy will never be the same!,
