Attain Inescapable Produced By Saskia Walker Audio Books
is an intense story with some suspense, action and passion, Seth, Lily and Adrian are incredibly hot together, This is such a good read from beginning to end, Lily and Adrian having been getting to know each other online, She finally agrees to meet him and has no idea what is instore for her, These two get put into witness protection with the sexy and dominant Seth in control, I like how their story develops from beginning to end, If I were to rate this book based on the sex alone it would be a scorching hotstar review with no question,
Unfortunately for Ms. Walker there is more to a plot than really great sex and that part of the story was a distinct and unhappystar for me.
Splitting the difference I went with thestar and called it good,
There are too many things what were supposed to be a suspense type plot that made absolutely no sense whatsoever, I have a great imagination but I am only capable of suspending so much belief before the entire story collapses in upon itself,
If you want to just skim a book for some sex then this is the novel for you,
If you want to be drawn into a plot featuring some kind of circus of a witness protection plan than involves housing people at the police officer's parent's house, this is the book for you.
If you don't care if any kind of emotional connection is made before the sexing starts, . . this is the book for you,
If none of those sound good, then look away, gentle reader, I give the author props for attempting to write a menage romance as the the ratio between an actual story and having too many steamy scenes is a tough balance.
Inescapable has that balance, but the story is contrived and I couldn't connect with the characters, From the beginning, Lily is either bratty, naive or TSTL, I also didn't feel any real emotion from them, It isn't a bad story, but it isn't memorable either,
I've been reading every ménage I can get my hands on for years, This was one of the most heartfelt but also hottest I've read thus far, It was also believable which is tremendously uncommon in a ménage, This is the first book I've read by Saskia Walker, It was well written with a good storyline and characters that were easy to like, I enjoyed the suspense as well as how the relationships developed, My only complaint is that there was a bit of repetition that I rolled my eyes at as I though how I got that already.
But it's not enough to enjoy the whole book! I'll look for more from this author,
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review, Wish it had been longer or maybe the start of a series Would love to see more of how the relationships evolve, Witness protection with a difference!
This is really, really good,
A blind date with a man you've been sharing hot fantasies with for months is one thing, Add in a Witness Protection officer who pushes all the right buttons and a hitman coming after them and you have a great story,
Like a lot of police Seth is all about control and Lily finds she can't help but respond to him, Is it's the sexy, caring Adrian she's known online and exchanged all her fantasies with that has her wanting more or is the sexy Seth she can't resist.
or does she want more
I'll never think about the Welsh countryside in quite the same way again : I enjoyed the way the tensions mounted between the three of the in the safehouse.
It makes for a really, really good read,
I'd love to read more about their lives/adventures as the relationships evolve further,
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review, When Lily develops a relationship with Adrian on the internet, bu when they finally meet in person, she mistakes his rotation officer Seth for him.
The chemistry between all three is hot, there is a lot of steam, a few twists and turns, The story was well paced and interesting, A very steamy ménage à trois!!
/Stars,
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review, Just so you all know, theare simply for the sex, The story didn't interest me much, but holy crap the sex was hot, And so were the men she was doing it with, Whew!
I've also read sitelinkThe Harlot by the same author, It's probably not a fair comparison, as that one is a historical and is also a full length novel I think, but I enjoyed the story of that one much more.
It was just as hot, though,
Warning: m/f/m, extremely explicit and includes a seriously hotway, No m/m though, but if the book had been any longer that probably would have happened too, D Inescapable is an enjoyable MFM menage story that I picked up when it was offered during a free promotion, Once I started reading, I continued until I finished, That's a good sign for me, since I've been having trouble finishing books lately, The scenes were hot. The characters were interesting. Not everyone's relationship would have clicked so well, but I could see how this was the perfect scenario for Adrian, Lily, and Seth, The plot was engaging, maintaining only the pertinent parts, which kept the story from dragging, And yes, I did say PLOT, There
is more to this story than boy A and boy B met girl A and had a fling, There is action and suspense in a well done subplot, I really enjoyed the various POVs and the London/ Welsh references, I hadn't read anything by this author before, so I didn't know what to expect, I always love a pleasant surprise, Only real negative for me were the noticeable, but not too distracting, editing/typo issues, Recommended for those who like MFM menages, I'm a bit confused as to why I received this as an ARC inwhen it shows published in, However, I'm leaving my honest review in exchange for a free copy of this book,
The story in this book is slightly unrealistic in how police protection would work and the number of rules that are broken in the story line around that.
But the chemistry between the three main leads and the sex scenes are over the top amazing, I also enjoyed the description of the scenery on the hideout in Wales and would love to have it be a real place that you could go visit.
Sometimes I continue reading a bad book because the sex scenes are scorchingly hot, and sometimes a book is just bad and I keep on going out of loalty to my purse, even though the ebook only costcents.
Needless to say, I don't always undestand myself g,
I have read a couple of Saskia Walker's book in my past and truly enjoyed them, but I can easily say that Inescapable will be one of my worst reads this month.
The whole witness protection program thing felt wrong to me, I am no cop but having read my fair share of romantic suspense titles, I know when I am fooled with too little research, And I simply couldn't get Seth, who as the cop, bears the responsibility for the whole operation, but has nothing better to do than bring Lily to orgasm the first day they meet in a professional surrounding.
The dynamics between Lily, Adrian and Seth feel totally off kilter, unbelievable and despite the three of them having several rounds of sex I felt oddly detached from the scenes.
F Inescapable by Saskia Walker
C, inferno, no kink, menage, contemp, pages
Lily and Adrian have been chatting online for a while now.
Hot, steamy, torrid chats. They've decided it's time they met in person, But when Lily knocks on Adrian's office door, she's met by Seth although she thinks it's Adrian at first, Seth is trying to convince Adrian to go into witness protection, When someone makes an attempt on Adrian's life, Lily sees them, and soon Seth is dragging both Adrian and Lily away to save their lives.
Theof them end up together in an isolated house with lots of time on their hands and just their lusty feelings to keep them company.
The premise for this one drew me in immediately, Not being a huge suspense fan even though I can't seem to stay away from them, I'm happy to report that the suspense was not a huge part of this book, more just an excuse for theof them to be alone together.
And when the suspense finally comes to its conclusion, it is not a long drawn out thing, It happens and it's over rather quickly,
The relationship between Lily and Seth and Adrian is, of course, sudden, We're talking little to no conversations between the three of them about actually having a threesome, It's more of a "well, as long as we're all in the same room" feeling to the whole situation, Yet the emotions that develop seem very realistic,
I was really enjoying this one until Seth made a rather, in my opinion, idiotic move as a witness protection agent, And everything after that just started to make me mad, I struggled to get past how stupid he had been in that situation, when I saw other obvious options that were more logical but never crossed his mind.
By the time I reached the end, I was just starting to forgive him,
If you like steamy menage with a touch of suspense and you can overlook a stupid move by one of the heroes give this one a shot.
Something unexpected
I received an ARC from BookSprout and am leaving my review voluntarily, This story was previously published in, This is a MFM storyline so if you don't like that sort of thing, this book is not for you,
