Grab Instantly The Very Fairy Princess Follows Her Heart Illustrated By Julie Andrews Edwards Released Through Digital Format
little girl loves Mary Poppins and The Sound of Music, There's no surprise that she loved this book as well! What a delight to meet Julie Andrews tonight! She was so pleasant, did not rush everyone along, and held a little conversation with my daughter.
who was completely star struck! She was absolutely lovely! Gerry is very excited Valentines Day is coming which is a Fairy Princess favorite day of the year! She works her hardest to make the best, sparkliest is that a word, Valentines ever for her classmates.
She puts her perfect handmade Valentines in one of her Daddys green work folders to keep them safe, But when she gets to school, there is a BIG problem, The folders got switched and her very perfect Valentines are at work with Daddy how UNsparkly! Gerry thinks fast and solves her problem in a very fairy princess way!
This is a VERY cute book! I like the sparkles that are with Gerry.
They are VERY cool in a Fairy Princess sort of way, I like the illustrations they are VERY well drawn! Gerry is a great character even with me being a boy, I dont mind all the sparkle and my sister LOVES all the sparkle! Gerry is VERY kind, VERY sweet, VERY caring, and VERY VERY creative! I think this is a great Valentines Day book that kids will love!
Note a reviewed a copy of this book my sister got as a gift :D They often say not to judge a book by its cover, but I think in this case, that would be entirely appropriate! My daughters were absolutely spellbound by the glittery artwork gracing the cover of this beautiful book, and they were equally pleased to dive into this wonderful story.
They immediately identified with Gerry and her love of all thins sparkly and glittery, and they especially loved that she sings while she works something my daughters can definitely relate to.
They laughed at the scene where Gerry is emptying her dresser looking for just the right thing, leaving a mess on the floor after all, how many times have they, the little princesses, forgotten to tidy their own rooms And they absolutely cheered Gerry on as she spoke encouraging words to every person in her class, and then got to celebrate the perfect Valentine's Day with her class and someone special who just happened to pop by her Daddy.
The Very Fairy Princess Follows Her Heart is delightful through and through, containing a positive message about being a good friend and sharing encouraging words even for a boy in her class who she doesn't get along with!, accompanied by wonderful pictures and artwork.
Although the book contains a Valentine's theme, it's appropriate for every day of the year and I have no doubt I'll be reading this book with my children many a time between now and next Valentine's Day!
I highly recommend this children's book and award itout ofstars.

It's not my favorite from the series, but I wanted to read all of the main installments, This is my first Julie Andrews book, but now I am going to have to read the other ones, Gerry A girls name if you can believe it makes specials Valentines day cards for each of her class mates, but ends up bringing her dad work folder instead.
What will she do I love the Creativity, kindness and fun Gerry brings, She is sincere and I like that! Fun Book! Valentine's Day was coming up and for Gerry, who believed in her heart that she was a fairy princess because she could feel the sparkle inside, that day was a favourite.
She worked hard making sparkly valentines for everyone in her class, even for the boy who pulls her hair,
Her mommy gave her a folder like her daddy's to keep her valentines safe, and on Valentine's Day morning Gerry got all dressed up, grabbed the folder, and rushed out to catch the bus to school.
When it was time to pass out the valentines ohoh! she had one of her daddy's folders filled with his work papers! Her day quickly went from sparkly to unsparkly.
Although Gerry is very sad about the mistake she comes up with a special idea for each person in the class,
This is another fun story from the The Very Fairy Princess series, What a fabulous self esteem booster book for young children! After I read it only then did I realize who wrote it and it was no wonder it had the special 'air' about it.
Julie Andrews has compation toward just about everything she does and those she's around, The little girl in the story wanted to make everyone in her classroom and family special even the little boy that teases her all the time.
She had a special way of making everyone feel special around her, Good lessons that children can use in their real life, Another IUS student picked this book to read during group time, The girl forgets her VDay cards for her classmates, instead she tells each of them individually how much and why she likes them, Perfect book to read on Vday to a kindergarten class, I love these books. While they are in someways just fluff I love how the princess is so confident and tries to make everyone else find their sparkle, I just think that is important for any child or adult This is a cute book, It would be perfect for all the little fairy princesses out there! I always eagerly look forward to reading this series, and I love Valentine's Day so I figured this one would be right up my alley.
I did enjoy it but unfortunately it's my least favorite in the series so far, . . it lacks a little of the 'sparkle' that makes the series burn so bright, It's also a bit cliche and rushed, I recommend it to those already devoted to the series, I read a lot of princess books, This one stood out for me and my daughter, I want to buy this
one for our collection! I love the explosion of pink in the illustrations, And I love the subtle switchup of the valentine's with Daddy's work papers, The text could have been a bit trimmer, but this is a fun, girlfriendly Valentine's Day book, This is a beautiful book about a young girl, Gerry, who loves Valentine's Day, As part of The Very Fairy Princess book series, this addition shines, It talks about love and what Valentine's Day is supposed to be, Gerry works to tell all the people in her life about how much she loves them, She does this by making beautiful, handmade valentines, When she accidentally leaves them at home on the big day, she is heart broken, But, in true fairy princess style, she uses it as an opportunity to share her love in other ways, It is a sweet story yearround, and perfect for Valentine's Day, Say Happy Valentine's Day with theNew York Times bestselling Very Fairy Princess, in a new format with bonus stickers!
Gerry makes beautiful cards for her friends at school, showcasing their special qualities.
But when she forgets her folder at home, she needs to think of a new way to celebrate their inner sparkle! This celebration of friendship and creativity by the bestselling motherdaughter team is the perfect gift for any special Valentine.
All I want to know, is what was the fairy dust Daddy sprinkled on those pancakes Because I want some, too! I also want sparkled and to be a fairy princess, but that's another story.

Things I loved about this book:
sparkles
the dramatic pose of the little girl when she finds she has the wrong folder
the personification of all the valentines
"Fairy princesses are EXTREMELY gracious"
sparkles
Truly precious book, and I'm glad I gave it a read.
Great little ending, too. Highly recommended.
I like the “Very Fairy Princess”, she makes me happy, So, of course getting a copy of this Valentines Day edition was worthy of a good squeal and giggle, Gerry is still the “Very Fairy Princess”, And it is time for her to make Valentines Day cards, After she makes them, she borrows a folder from her dad so that they wont get ruined, The next morning she hurries to dress in all her heart clothing, Then she rushes to school, only to find out that she grabbed her dads work folder instead of the folder with her Valentines in them.
What will she do! In typical Gerrystyle she figures it out, She ends up “telling” her valentines to the class instead of giving them a paper one, And then her dad comes to drop off the folders and the day is saved for a second time,
I liked how even though something as catastrophic as forgetting your valentines for the class Valentines Day party happened, Gerry figured out a way to still make everyone understand just what it was she wanted to tell them in with the valentines.
I liked how the class responded positively to something that could have made them mad and upset, And I like the amount of hearts, sparkles, wings, and pink that went along with Gerrys outfit, This is the perfect book for a young fairy or princess reader who loves the subject ofwelllove and Valentines Day,
Read for Library StoryTime, Such a sweet book. A very nice Valentine's Day offering, especially for Knd grade kids, The kind of story that kids will relate to: Gerry arrives at school with the wrong folder: the folder with her dad's papers rather than the folder with the valentine's she intended to give to her classmates.
