Acquire Diario Di Una Schiappa Vol. 5. La Dura Verità Portrayed By Jeff Kinney Contained In Version
so addicted to the whole series now,
You are never too old for reading this,.not my cup of tea, غريغ هيفلي يكبر ولابد أن ينضج ويتحمل المسؤولية وهذه هى الحقيقة المرة
المواقف ممتعة وظريفة جدا More of the same great formula of simple drawing and funny line continues to rock, I think I will use same review for all the Wimpy Kid books, All are more of the same and I can't get enough of them,
People who don't read generally ask me my reasons for reading, Simply put I just love reading and so to that end I have made it my motto to just Keep on Reading, I love to read everything except for Self Help books but even those once in a while, I read almost all the genre but YA, Fantasy, Biographies are the most, My favorite series is, of course, Harry Potter but then there are many more books that I just adore, I have bookcases filled with books which are waiting to be read so can't stay and spend more time in this review, so remember I loved reading this and love reading more, you should also read what you love and then
just sitelinkKeep on Reading.
I don't approve how Greg treats his bestfriend Rowley but after all what happened, at least they back as being friends in the end, I like how Greg's Gammie advised him not to hurry growing up and just enjoy his time as a teen now, Young readers of this series also must remember the lessons hidden behind the funny stories in this series because they are written especially for them, Greg is about to start another school year but he isn't friends with Rowley anymore, Greg's uncle Gary is getting married in the next couple months and also Greg's mum wants to start studying and as a result the men of the house will have to cook dinner a few times a week and also do their own chores.
Greg's family also wants him to be more responsible now as he is getting older and he is also awaiting 'the Talk' from his Gammie as he is getting older.
When the men of the family couldn't do all the chores, Greg's mum gets domestic help, in other words a maid, But Greg doesn't like the maid as she doesn't do anything and eats all their junk food, When Greg tells his mum, she doesn't believe him, Greg continues his school and he finds out that Rowley got his first zit and he is becoming a man, Greg also wants to hurry up the growth process but his parents tell him that they were both late bloomers so Greg's hopes vanish,
Greg and Rowley get invited to a middleschool party but that same weekend Greg has to attend his uncle's wedding, He tries to get out of it but can't as he is in the wedding party, He misses out going to the party but later on finds out that the party wasn't all it cracked up to be for his classmates, His mum also finds the domestic help actually not doing anything when she gets home early one day,
This was also a funny addition to the series, As usual, I love the sketches and Greg's way to manhood and his continuous approach to shirk his responsibilities,
Lo divertido es que mis sobrinos piensan lo mismo, Me dijeron "el niño del libro es un tonto, pero el libro igual es súper bueno así que léelo", Jajaja. it was a good book i hope they make another book, rowley and greg arent friends then they notice they were fighing about something that did notmake since, so then they become friends again You just can't get enough of it,
I have been introduced to these lately and I find it surprisingly addictive, This one brought in little surprises of Greg's mom leaving the house to the men and the resulting dilapidation of the daily routines, the short and thankful introduction of the domestic help and her witty circumventions around the works.
I guess the reason we all find this so intriguing and compelling is that there's that kid inside each one of us, The stupid beliefs that we all had about the workings of the universe, Things that we keep to ourselves, Those troll incidents that we want to laugh out loud to but do not want to be associated to our adult images,
This book brought many such incidents and packed them into one for me, You might think that you maybe a Tony Stark or something but you sure had some funny mishaps in the world of adults,
Or as we call it, 'there's this funny thing that happened to my friend in childhood',
A whooping five star from ayear old, : This is the worst book of this series in my opinion, The book is like the awkward middle part of the series Much like Greg, It feels empty without Rowley, and it didn't really feel like it had a main plot, I just wasn't immersed into this book like the other ones in the series, but being a regular reader of the series, I had to read it, This was a very funny book, but perhaps not quite as funny as the rest of the series, Don't get me wrong! The Ugly Truth has plenty of laughoutloud moments, But, while the first four books had me roaring with laughter, erupting in guffaws, and frequently demanding to read aloud portions of the inspired insanity to anyone within earshot while gasping and trying to catch my breath, this latest offering only had me chuckling ruefully, or perhaps breaking out in a broad grin from time to time.
I think part of the reason why this book didn't tickle my funnybone as much is because Greg Heffley is growing up, He's always been conscious of being a middleschool boy and a bit of latebloomer, but this volume has him much more worried about when he's going to catch up with a lot of the guys in his class.
There's less random hilarity in this volume, and more of a connected storyline, as Greg ruminates on his still strained friendship with Rowley, his uncle's upcoming wedding, his health class and school slumber party.
Greg's obsession with getting more popular, and winning over girls in particular, continues to be charming,
I was surprised however, by how much he really didn't get it, in terms of Rowley, Greg has been a selfish friend over the years, but he doesn't see that at all, He just wants things to go back to the way they were, when Rowley put up with all of his abuse, Greg's bored demeanor with everything having to do with his family, and his disappointment at being treated like a little kid at his uncle's wedding he was hoping to be a fullfledged groomsman, rather than an assistant flower boy was pretty silly, and the highlight of the book, for me, was the school sponsored sleepover.
Convinced he's going to be able to mingle with cute girls all evening, Greg eagerly signs up, but is sorely disappointed when it's mostly guys and their overearnest teachers take away all of the kids cell phones and electronic devices when they refuse to socialize with each other.
Predictably, the helicopter parents arrive to pick up their kids early, fearing the worst when they don't answer their text messages,
The blend of humor, and stick figurelike cartoons which convey so much emotion which are the hallmarks of this series are still here and Wimpy Kid fans won't be disappointed in this latest addition.
As per usual, hilarious stuff, I could live on this series, . . yes, more so than the HP series, You're right, Greg, you should be in no hurry to grow up, Just keep amassing information for that biography of yours, Also, Greg is the star, but Rowley steals the spotlight every time he's around!
