Retrieve The Davis Farmers Market Cookbook Assembled By Georgeanne Brennan Rendered As Print
don't know if this is the right edition The one I have is by Ann Evans and published in.
. . but I wanted to get this on my book challenge so whatever lolol, I've never really understood the appeal of cookbooks because I have the internet and I don't like collecting too many books with my limited shelf space BUUUUT I caved and got this one because the cover was pretty and now that
I'm trying to cook more and cook better it sounded like a good way to get new recipes to try, because honestly the internet is too wide sometimes and I need more direction in my life.
Also, supporting local authors! And local farmers market! if I start buying groceries from there again, . .
I really liked this because it breaks recipes down by season so I can attempt to be a "responsible person" and cook things with "local" and "seasonal" ingredients.
It also gives suggestions for some of the recipes on how to substitute different things based on seasonality, which I thought was cool.
I also liked the vibrant photos throughout the book and that it captures the faces of the people who work at the farmers market too.
