Avail Yourself Warriors Of The Heart Conceived By BadSquirrel Delivered In Digital Edition
is an undercover cop working as a stripper to infiltrate a drug ring, She feels alone, isolated and inadequate to the task, but she is driven to succeed despite her fears and uncertainties, Stevie is a successful young woman, but she is an innocent when it comes to the world, She is struggling to keep the love of her family, but she is making her way alone: inventing herself as she goes along, Deception, secrets, intolerance and evil are conspiring against them, Can they fend off the shadows and make a connection It all starts with a lap dance, . . Really loved this book Not my cup of tea, Lots of family drama and religious issues, It is funny in it's way, One of the reasons I decided to try this book was because it involved an undercover police officer, More directly, because it involved said police officer operating undercover as a stripper,
And nearly the first scene, or around there, involved a lap dance by said undercover officer given to a woman, Who promptly orgasmed. One of those 'quickest to orgasm' type moments, eh
Who knew, from that background, what I'd actually find when I continued reading The two main characters, Rachel and Stevie, are probably my two favorite characters I've come across.
There's family turmoil, religious turmoil, crime, passion, thrills and chills,
This might be the best family/religious/LGBTrelated book I've read,
While reading I was thinking several thoughts, one of which is why am I able to read this book for free Other than a few mentions here or there of green eyes, I noticed nothing that would put either woman as being stamped from the mold of the two main women from Xena.
Maybe Stevie and Rachel are modeled on some other couple
There was one moment wherein I think the author or someone got confused maybe it is I who got confused, but there is one moment when it appeared that Rachel, for one brief scene, had her name switch from Rachel to Teresa, to Rachel again.
Other than that specific issue, this was a lot more polished than I'd have expected granted I'm not talking about the formatting, that was annoying how scenes/etc, meshed together while other scenes kept getting interupted by large blocks of text informing everyone the name of the book and the page number.
Right, think I lost my focus there, I had meant to just note that I did not see anything specifically that would have kept this book from being published for pay.
Not sure which would have lead me to it quicker, free, published for pay, or published for free, shrugs No matter. I rather enjoyed the book,
AugustCharacters Rachel and Stevie: I liked the characters and their contrast with each other, The undercover cop turned stripper and the innocent racer, I think the characters were missing some development and depth that could have added to the story and made them more unique,
Voice, prose, pacing: Overall I enjoyed reading this book, especially for one thats available for free, I think my biggest criticism is that it could have gone deeper, I think some of the points of conflict in the book were too quickly resolved or unrealistically fixed or created, There were also a lot of stereotypes used that I didn't really appreciate, The author notes this at the beginning and is correct, not my idea of good reading,
Plot: I like all the added elements of the characters lives to the story but wish it had pushed a little further,
Setting, story: the setting was not super specific, nor really added or detracted from the story, Not again, religious stuff! BadSquirrel, you need to write more books, Preferably yesterday but, please, just come back,
This was my last book on the BadSquirrel binge and they were all good but this one was really great, She should be a published author, I still can't believe all this content is available completely for free,
This one stands out from the others because it's more than just a romance, there's also a family drama, religion, and some police thriller action, And all of it is well balanced, I think my only nitpick is that Stevie might be too perfect, the only downside to her character is her childishness and naivete,
I think BadSquirrel is now my favorite author, I just hope she will come back someday, I loved this book! I love how the story went, Its different from what i mostly read and i really like how things happened and solved, Though, i dont like
And i really like Helen, Shes such a great mum, And i like how the book involve an elder that close to both main characters as well, Not to mention,
And yeah i really enjoyed this book alots and i love it, Overall a really nice read, A couple of times the names changed out and I got confused but overall I really did like it, I will say that religion plays a very big role in the story but not in a terrible way and that Stevie did seem too good too be true but hey it's fiction.
Free online definitely is a bonus too, Find the story here: sitelink net/scrolls/badsqu hopefully the link works, Liked this quite a bit, The only draw back was the preponderance of religious issues, At first I was cheering Stevie's mom for all kinds of reasons but on the whole it just was a bit much I think, Other than that, was a solid read,Stars for a free online fiction, I read this quite awhile ago and it is still an enjoyable reread, A mystery why this author was never published or why she/he hasn't written more or maybe they have
Nevertheless, a well written book with enjoyable, likable MCs.
Stevie, a genius computer geek, a child prodigy who became a successful business owner and a well known motorcross racer on the side, She has a generous nature of more than just monetary means, Her family is Mormon and she was excommunicated when she came out, Nevertheless she still loves her family, even though they don't accept her choice, This subject was written and handled very well, Sometimes, this is written in which the family are lunatics, cruel and evil, While I know this is the case for many it is nice to read a different take, We follow as Stevie's mother slowly comes to terms, while her father does not and this causes problems between the couple and with the church,
Then we have Rachel, When we meet her she
is a cop, a patrolman who is working undercover as a stripper in a joint they suspect is a headquarters for a drug ring, This is her first assignment obviously chosen because she fits the suit or rather that she looks good dancing essentially naked, However, she isn't experienced at undercover work and struggles at times and is very uncomfortable at being a stripper,
As it states in the synopsis, they meet when Stevie's friends take her to a strip club for herst birthday for drinks amp a lap dance, The story takes off from there, .
