Enjoy For Free The Legend Of The Blue Eyes (Blue Eyes Trilogy, #1) Devised By B. Kristin McMichael Presented In Multimedia Book
would characterize this book as “excellent concept, poor execution, ” The concept of this book was/is extremely promising on herth birthday Arianna Grace learns that she is vampire and baku demon halfbreed caught in the middle of a centuries long war between the two for control of the night.
Where the story falls apart for me is that there is no growth for Arianna other than to suddenly have boys start declaring their undying love for her.
The boys Devin, Turner, Andrew were flat and uninteresting they had no other purpose/development other than being “gorgeous” and “having hair fall into their eyes” and declaring their love for Arianna, letting her drink their blood, and to yell at her that “SHES NOT SAFE” with anyone except insert appropriate boy name her.
I did enjoy reading about Ariannas relationship with her uncle, cousin, and grandfather wished the author spend more time with those people than BOYS!ANGST!BOYS!.
I received this book for an honest review,
This book had me from the synopsis, I loved the cover, I think B. Kristin McMichael got everything right with this book, This is the first book by this author that I have read, I don't think it will be the last.
the pace and flow was just right for me, I read it in one sitting,
Our story starts with Arianna Grace, who lives with her aunt and uncle because her parents were murdered.
She has the same routine every Friday night when she meets her friends at the cinemas, When
Ari starts getting notes attached to the bottom of her cup at the cinema she is intrigued, as it mentions her parents.
Ari is then taken into a world she never knew existed, where she has to quickly has to adapt to survive.
I loved all the characters in this book especially Ari, Devin, Turner even Andrew, The only one I didn't like was Andrew's uncle, the descriptions about the story made you feel like you could see the picture clearly,
I cant wait to read Becoming a LegendBookof the Blue Eyes Legend
I absolutely could not put this book down!! Hence the:a.
m. review! FIVE STARS without a doubt to what will become one of my top favorite YA PNR series!
Being a teenager is never easy for anyone, but Arianna will soon realize that "she" is not your everyday anyone.
. . The daughter of the paranormal version of Romeo and Juliet a young girl who felt that she never truly belonged will begin to not only find her true self, but the strength and power that many covet, and some despise.
She is a legend that has only been whispered about, and the hope of her two remaining living relatives that will finally unite the Night Human community.
Romance, danger and realizing that the future may hold more than you ever thought possible, . . I am anxiously awaiting June and the next chapter in Arianna's tale, For this review and more visit sitelinkDiary of a Wimpy Teen Girl
WHOA, This book was so good and intriguing, but yet so different and bizarre that my mouth is still hanging open.
. XD
Arianna, a typical teenager, finds out that she is a vampire, and not a typical vampire either.
She is a both a purebred Baku and a purebred Deargdul two different vampire species that don't get along with each other.
Apparently, Arianna is the most powerful night human alive and many people want her hurt, That's why she was surrounded her whole life by her PPU a group of people that were assigned to protect her.
Arianna finds out that everyone in her life, including her friends, knew about her being a vampire and never told her a word about it.
While Arianna is trying to get used to her life as a vampire and to discover her special abilities, she finds herself in the middle of an ancient war between the Deargdul and the Baku.
Which side will she choose, if any And how can she stay alive when so many people want her dead
First of all, I have to say that the author had some really original ideas about vampires.
In this book, vampires rarely need to kill for blood, Each vampire has a least one Keeper a human or a night human who is fully controlled by the vampire and provides him with blood.
The weird thing is that so many people wanted to be Arianna's Keepers!! That was more than a little twisted.
Who wants to be a walking blood fridge!
Arianna was surrounded all the time by guys who were more than happy to let her drink their blood as much as she wanted, so she never had to hunt or anything.
Talking about guys the romance in this book was my favorite part of the book! I know that many people dislike love triangles and I have to agree that recently there are way too much of them in YA books.
But it this book, there wasn't a love triangle, There was something else, something I've never seen before a love PENTAGON, Yeah, I know it sounds weird, but think about itswoony guys in one book!! And they didn't even hate each other.
They worked together to protect and help Arianna, I was so jealous :X
It's hard for me to decide which guy I liked best, . . I think it would be Turner, Turner understood exactly what bothered Arianna and always found a way to cheer her up and help her, He encouraged her to think for herself and to stop following orders all the time, It was really heartwarming to see how he loved her and how he would give up anything for her.
Arianna herself wasn't a very good character, She was quite passive and always let the guys around her fight for her, Well, I can't blame her, . . If I hadguys around my who were willing to do anything for me, I would have done the same! Arianna was the type of girl that follows orders.
She didn't think enough for herself, There were parts when the guys put her to SLEEP while they were fighting, I was expecting Arianna to be much more kickass, but she wasn't, . . I hope she'll find more courage in the next books, XP
This book was very good and hooked me from the beginning, I will probably pick up the next book because I really want to know how the plot continues!!
Recommended to: people who like unique and different paranormal romance books.
A review copy was provided by the other in exchange for an honest review Omg!!! This book was sooo amazing that I could NOT put it down! The reading was easy and fluid, I didn't have to stop and reread.
I love the neat new touches the author used in lieu of the same old boring terms for werewolf, vampire, etc.
This started out having even me wonder what the heck was going on just as the main character was.
I love the explanation of the family and how everything happened, I have been trying to win this book forever and when this opportunity came up I was EXHILARATED! I love the characters relations with each other and just loved the whole feeling of the book.
One part that I did become confused on was this character named Thomas at the end, Where did he come from and who is he Anyway, lovely writing, great introduction to these new terms, I can NOT WAIT for the next book to come out!!!! sitelinkB, Kristin McMichael You are a great storyteller and a wonderful weaver of words!
