Enjoy The Wizard King (Hearts Desire, #3) Presented By Dana Marie Bell Represented In Interactive EBook
come. What happened to the old biddies Funny, chockfull of pop culture references, witches, wizards, warlocks, and a hot hunky pack of werewolf brothers.
And did I mention ridiculously funny Also, very entertaining, Please See Warlock Unbounc for a series review, I really missed the development of the romance, . . There was a Lot of action but I missed a Real Plot and the steamy part I enjoyed seeing the Beckett family again, but I found myself skimming this book a lot more than I expected.
I wouldn't recommend starting this book without having read the others in the series, The spell casting is a bit much for me, I love the family dynamics though, The humor and story keeps me reading the series, Especially when I'm in the mood for a light read, Very Good!
Gareth becomes the Wizard King right after he does the mating spell amp has to wait for the coronation until after his mate comes to him.
amp she fights it as long as she could because she thought that he hated her,
Gen Goodwin is a Warlock Own which means she does good against evil, She never thought that she would ever be mated to Gareth as she thought that he would hate her but, he shows her how wrong she was when he not only mates her but makes her is Queenconsort.
This book does have a good vs bad plot amp several fight scenes with their magic against the bad guy.
Which isof Gen's brothers, Gareths supposed to take the wizard throne in three days, but the woman who stole his heart is missing so he casts the Beckett mate spell but if she answers hell face his toughest battle ever in this spellbinding paranormal romance.
The author has created a fascinating magical world where the slightest difference in magic makes all the difference in the world and the sexy Beckett brothers ensnare readers with their spell and compel them to come back for more.
There was no way I could put Gareth and Gens book down once I started it as it is nonstop action including some thrilling magical battles and humorous dialogue that really spice up this story.

My least fave of the series, Where'd the magic go I liked this book more than the previous one book, I liked how Gareth H was already in love with Gen h even before he cast the findamatespell, I also liked how he stood up for her and disbanded the wizard council when they wanted to have her replaced as his mate.
Dana Marie Bell is quite fun to read, and this is her third Heart's Desire book, centering on Gareth, who is supposed to take the wizard throne, and Genevieve, who is strong but soooo not
ready to be a princess.
I can't wait to read this one! It's on preorder, I have read the previous two and loved them, Shadow of the Wolf and Hecate's Own,
Some questions for Dana
Q: Favorite quality of your heroine
Dana: No matter what life throws at her, she always keeps her cool.
And with her family, that's easier said than done,
Q: Favorite quality of your hero
Dana: He stays himself, despite the fact that half the magical world wants him dead, and the other half wants to own him.
He'll stand up to them all to make sure his mate stays by his side,
Q: Describe your book in three words
Dana: Fun, sexy, and magical,
Q: Epic lines
Dana:
Gareth turned his head to sniff a particularly interesting scent, wincing at the jingle of the ultimate indignity.
They might as well have microchipped his ass, because this Was never happening again, He should have known better than to send Zach to the pet store,
Who named a god wolf Pookie

sitelink usatoday. com/story/happyev Adored this book! I was so happy to see Gen and Gareth get together : She was so much more than we see in the previous book, and I loved getting to see all the different sides to her.
Gareth's wolf seems much closer to the surface than the others, and seeing how this affected his relationship and responses was interesting to say the least.
:D I look forward to Daniel FINALLY doing the Becket mate spell, and seeing more of Kerry
Another fantastic book by Mrs.
Bell Its probably just me, but it seems like Dana Marie Bells most recent releases are missing a whole lot of the magic and entertainment value that I used to find in her stories.
The Wizard King isnt bringing anything new to the greater Hearts Desire series and in fact seems to just be a repeat of scenes and dialog from the previous two stories.
The only changes we get here are the main characters and the villain they have to defeat, Otherwise everything else just reads as “same book, different cover, ”
The books in this series are definitely written with the assumption that a reader has finished the previous two books and have a pretty good recall of what happened in each.
The heroes of the stories are doubledipping in the paranormal trope pool, being both Wizards and Werewolves, so there is a lot of world building that is touched upon but left more to the notion of “Oh, you know this so lets move on.
” In The Wizard King the third Beckett brother finds himself accepting the mantle of leader of all the wizards in the US, but there is only a brief glimpse of exactly what he has taken on in that job.
There is more drama coming from the crowning of a Queenconsort who is of a different magic group in her case a Warlock who are untrusted than problems with a wizard who has to bay at the moon once a month and is driven by an animal instinct.
I cant even say that I liked how the relationship between the Hero and heroine developed in the story.
There was a perfect conflict ready made for the two of them, with her being called to service by their deity and him being called to duty for his people.
Only a few times does this become a problem for them to talk about and even then its more an inconvenience than anything.
Unfortunately since these books are all tied to the Fated Mate idea there was never any real jeopardy to their being together because as soon as the magic worked they couldnt be apart.
Any pushing away from the relationship or danger due to their separate natures was just empty threats and happily compromised away after a marathon sex session.
Perhaps Dana Marie Bell has too many series on her plate right now and has spread her creativity a little too thin.
More effort was put into making rhyming spells for the characters to chant then was made in developing them into fleshed out people I could empathize and root for.
There is nothing really drawing me to finish the story arc with the final brother because if this book is any indication its all been done before.

Ahhh I was soooo eager to read the love story of a Beckett and a Godwin especially a king in spite of himself and a kind of super police woman D
My only regret and it's also the same for the entire series : the story lacks depth.
. . There are all the elements to make an excellent book but it should be developped more x including the intrigues of the magical courts gtlt
In short, for fans of light fantasy, this series is for you
I don't know if I would read the book of the last brother, I don't like him much gtlt Posted on sitelinkSwept Away Again
Gareth Beckett takes the wizard throne in three days, and the woman who stole his heart is missing.
Hoping with everything in him that it will call her back to his side, he casts the Beckett mate spell.
One minute, Genevieve Godwin is knocking on Gareth's door to tell him she's had a vision warning of a threat to his life.
The next, she's pinned to his sofa, trying to explain her recent absence to one very irate werewolf wizard.
Ever since Gen was forced to use her warlock powers to save him, he's barely made eye contact.
And now he wants her to be his queen She's a Hecate's Own, not a princess, Her place is on the trail of evil especially her own brothers to bring them to justice, not sipping tea and making small talk.
Gareth is determined to keep her at his side, and not only to keep her safe, Between scheming courtiers, the threat of the Godwin brothers and Gen's insistence that she be allowed to continue her work as one of Hecate's Own, Gareth is about to lose his mind.
It will take a powerful combination of witch, wizard and warlock to stop the magical "coup d'etat" that could destroy them all.
It feels like I've been waiting for The Wizard King to come out for aaaaages, I like this series. So far the first book has been the best book for me, But The Wizard King is a close second out of the three books so far, Although I really want the next book, Anyway, I really liked Gareth and Gen, Together or not together I thought they were great characters and loved the way Ms Bell wrote them and how she wrote The Wizard King.
There's a bit of going back to the previous book, which usually I don't like even if it was from Gareth and Gen's perspective but I liked the way Ms Bell wrote it and it worked for me.
For a change. I think Heart's Desire is a really different series and I've enjoyed reading them, I will be a bit sad when the last book is done!,
