on A Rockers Melody (Dust and Bones, #1)

fell in love with Melody from the very start, she proved herself to the boys, "oh my Go, you can hear me," she gasped dramatically.
"It's a miracle. Praise Jesus. I'd get down on my knees, but I wouldn't want to provide you with any imagery you're not emotionally mature enough to handle.
" Dylan he's a something else, "he grinned. "I'll stick to kissing you offstage then, All over your delicious body, " There's one way that always works for getting his girl to shut up, "Melody feigned confusion.
"But if we aren't talking honestly, whatever will we " One hard tug pulled her through the water and onto his lap.
Her legs straddled his waist and she could feel him, hot and hard, against her thigh.
"Oh," she whispered, a second before he kissed her, " I loved this book I love when the lead female is sassy, and can outwit the men.

If you like a good book with plenty of angst then click the purchase button.
This book is about Dylan, a rocker, and Melody, Melody is replacing the band's bass player, She does not have an easy road, Dylan and Melody share an attraction, but it is a love/hate relationship, Warning this book has lots of alcohol usage and some drug usage, This is a typical rock band book, They are not angels as much as I'd like them to be, However, not being angels works for this book, We see that Melody has a strong side, I secretly loved that she liked to eat, I found it strange that she was always eating bad types of foods while Dylan always ate healthy foods.
There are dual POV's. No cliffhanger, but you just know that this is going to be a series, Surprisingly twisted but short and sweet love story

I thought this was going to be an obvious "they are fighting to not be together then they can't fight it anymore so they get together" type of story.
It was surprisingly deeper. there were a few tear inducing moments that I wasn't expecting, I also like when you get both sides to a love story, An all around well written short love story, Well! This book was a dang good surprise!!!

it was purchased with my sceptical mind already to dismiss it as a risky purchase, boy was I shocked.
. it takes a while to reallllllly get going, . . but rather than start out FABULOUS amp fall with a resounding SPLAT! the book just got better amp better amp better.
its a wonderful beginning to a potentially fantastic new series about a HOT bunch of gorgeous Badboy rockers amp one super hot skilled prodigy female rocker that will steal your heart amp make you wish you were right there experiencing the rush on stage with the rest of the boys.
. . she took a broken bunch of men amp helped slowly put them back together again, . . without pain theres no love amp there is a heavy dose of both in this book.
. . do yourself a favor

amp get this book, atpennies you cant go wrong!!!, . . Looking forward to bookamp tanks story LOVE that boy! I'm sad there aren't any other books by Katie Mars out yet, because this book made me laugh AND cry on the treadmill at the gym.
It was angsty and surprisingly touching but not syrupy, and the characters in this rock amp roll story weren't cliched, though they weren't unbelievable either.
The problem of addiction in the music industry weighs heavy and is definitely not ignored here.
Melody and Dylan are both good, complicated characters, A series I will so follow! I want more now! A sexy read that I loved with very well developed secondary characters!!! Good read.
Smart girl does not want her heart broken by getting involved with a groupielovin' rock star, so she rebuffs him.
Rock star sits up and takes notice but has quite a few issues to deal with before he can be relationship material.

The latter half of the book became a little overly dramatic with a number of external events occurring.
I liked it but I won't reread, starsstars. An ok story, didn't quite hold my interest, skimmed through it I'm afraid, think I've hit a book slump! I really enjoyed this book, grittier than your average rock star romance but still full of emotion.

Melody is a brought in to replace Snake the bass player of Dust and Bones who has managed to land himself a stay in rehab following an unfortunate event.
Dust and Bones are heading towards disaster, there new album has been put back too many times and Dylan their frontman just can't seem to come up with new material.
The last thing any of the band needs is a new female bass player causing more trouble when they are so close to losing everything.

The band have some major issues to resolve and Melody witnesses the kinship they share through the most dramatic and heart breaking circumstances.

I love a book that makes me laugh and cry, this one did both.
It's a great story and well worth a read, Loved it!! : I really liked this book because the author did a good job with the characters in it.
The Melody/Dylan characters were some that you loved to follow, Ms. Mars wrote in a way that you could feel in your heart as to their ups and downs.
Whenever you can feel that says that the author did a good job writing the storyline.
The only downer of the book was the ending, I am not giving any spoilers To come to the end that it did and then to check to see if the next book was available amp there was not a mention of it in Goodreads was a real let down.
I was hoping that there were books in the works for each of the band members.
I loved this book. From page one yips filled with the drama and romance I like, there are a few scenes that brought tears to my eyes.
If you like rocker books you will enjoy this one, Very Cute story
oooo this was a really good story!! Had a lot of funny bits in which made me laugh but also had some bits where it made me cry : really good read and recommend it.
.
I have to thank a friend for recommending it otherwise I don't think I'd have read it thanks!! Dylan Bennett is screwed.
Snake McCreedy, his bass player, is in rehab again, just days before their band, Dust and Bones, is scheduled to embark on a multicity tour.
Melody Hopkins, the sassy bassist of Permission to Board, left her old band, and she is looking for a new gig.
Dylan is immediately attracted to her, but Melody's made it clear she does not intend to fall into his bed.
Ever. With his writer's block worse than ever and the second deadline for the new album looming, this distraction is the last thing the womanizing rocker needs.
Furthermore, the head of the label who insists on Melodys inclusion is her father, Yep, definitely screwed.

If that wasn't bad enough, once the guys get over their initial resistance to a girl among them, the rest of the band falls in love with her.
Traitors. Dylan is stung by Melodys rejection, Who the hell does this girl think she is Melody can't stand Dylan's attitude, The more time Dylan and Melody spend together on a cramped tour bus, the more dire things become.
Furthermore, Dylans creative spark is still nowhere to be found,

However, as the tour continues, both Dylan and Melody start to question whether theres more than meets the eye to their seeming antagonism.
But even if Melody acknowledges her attraction to Dylan, will the partying bad boy prove capable of what she cravesa loving, longterm relationship Can Dylan find the strength to heal past wounds and commit, or will the band's final encore signal the end of Dylan and Melody's love song

Erotic Romance,,words.
