received this book in exchange for an honest review LoP or Lovers of Paranormal,

Alright, so this is the fourth book in the series, Of the four, this one felt like it was on the right path from the very beginning, This one did not feel nearly as rushed, The main characters were in the last book and the struggles started there, Part of the back story in the previous book are the main point in this book,

So we have a demon and a ghost in this one, I love that they can't be together to start with and it was not until the very end they even told each other how they felt.
The struggles in this story were better and it gave us a chance to see them trying to do the right thing before they ended up together.

We have a random fiancee, other women who have been with the male lead, and internal struggles that keep the characters away from each other.
I think that this helped make the story more then the others,

I am still struggling with the shortness of the story though, I would love to see this one drawn out more, Give us more trying to fix the issues, give us more back and forth between the male and female lead, to show us how they work together.
I just want more!

The ending was still very rushed for me, We did take longer to get from point A to point B but it was still very fast, The ending was too pretty, if that make sense, They took all the problems and tied them up in pretty little bow, I think it should have been drawn out more, made to feel more plausible, Well as plausible as a paranormal story can be, with witches, vampires, werewolves and demons, But I think you understand where I am coming from here,

This is the book that feels more thought out, I have to wonder if perhaps this was always the end game, but the others were just small steps to get to this one.

Pros: More story, more struggles,

Cons: Too short, the ending was too pretty,

Overall This is the one story in this set of four books I can safely recommend to others.
Marianne Grey is a ghost,

But, she's not dead, Cursed by a necromancer, Marianne searches for the elusive spell needed to merge her spirit with her physical body, She's not alone in her search, Her neighbor and best friend, Sage Merriweather, has vowed to help her break the curse,

Sage suffers from his own demons, Literally.

After surviving a horrific attack, a demon has bonded with him, mutating Sage's magic so he can only conjure fire.
Until he can break the bond, he is a danger to everyone near him, including those he loves,

From the glittering ballrooms of London to eerily dark graveyards, Marianne and Sage battle forces of evil destined to claim their souls for eternity.
Though their newfound love for each other may be the toughest battle of all, The Witch's Kiss is fun and suspenseful, and I really enjoyed it, Sage and Marianne are both witches, They have grown up together, their families are close, There are not many witches in this time period and they need to keep a low profile, One of Sage's older brother Drake has gone mad, He lost the love of his life and he would do anything to try to bring her back from the dead, including murder.
Sage always steps up to do what is right, He tries to help his brother, and in return he is given to a demon, The demon turns him into a partial demon and now Sage's magic mutated from magic to only fire, He is afraid of this part of him and does not want to use his magic, While all of this is happening Drake curses Marianne by separating her soul from her body, Marianne is now a ghost of sorts, Only Sage and Marianne's sister can see her, Sage and Marianne spend so much time together that they fall in love with one another, but neither act on their love, Sage will do everything in his power to save Marianne, even if he must give her up,

This is the first book I have read by this author and I really enjoyed it, Her was with words keeps you glued to

Ok so this is a light hearted book good for a quick plane read I guess, It's theth book and clearly I'm missing some of the backstory, I personally got annoyed with the two characters self denials, Transitions are a problem the first half of the book, It moves back and forth in each characters memory to present, Which does fill in the holes a bit, But that was distracting. The main male character was somewhat developed, The female character was a paper thin teenager, There are other sub characters introduced that seem Much more interesting, and they only made brief appearances maybe the other books tell their stories.

I really liked the theme of the story and it really intrigued me, I loved the characters and the main story and they were realistic and quite relatable, I loved the addition of the fantasy genre in the story which makes it even more likeable,

My favourite part was when Marianne could pass through walls and doors and no one could see her except three people.
Other than that, I loved the way both Marianne's and Sage's feelings grew for each other,

A good read although there were a lot of questions in the end that I would have preferred to be answered.
The Witch's Kiss by Tricia Schneider is the forth book the Merriweather Witches series and is the first one I have picked up.
This particular book follows the plight of Sage, a witch harbouring a dark and deadly secret, and Marianne, a ghost for all intents and purposes but for one small detail, her body still draws breath.
Marianne and Sage seek for the means to undo the curse placed upon her but a cure seems beyond the realm of hope.
Side by side they battle the odds together, learning untold secrets about each other, and some of these secrets are so dark, so life altering, it could bring to question the very nature of their relationship.
Both are cursed, both are haunted by events of their past,

Since I started at bookI can confidently say Tricia Schneider does what all great series authors do, creates a stand alone tale when no foreknowledge of the previous books are required.
Never at any point did I feel I had missed an important snippet of information, and anything I needed to know from the previous books was nicely explain in context to the story unfolding.

I found The Witch's Kiss to be a gripping and interesting romantic paranormal, with a twist or horror and humour to keep the reader on their toes.
The characters were enjoyable and the style easy to follow with nice pacing and flow, There is certainly enough curiosity to ensure the reader keeps turning the pages, I received this book in exchange for an honest review, Lovers of Paranormal, LoP
