on The Girl from I.T.

book was awesome, It follows the journey of very eccentric, and unfortunately cancer ridden Alice, Alice is awesome and hilarious, she feels realistic but at the same time otherworldly, Possibly because she has a very mild case of Aspergers,

This type of MC has made quite a splash lately in many novels, I blame Sheldon Cooper. However unlike Sheldon, Alice's believability strains at time, I can understand how she might be oblivious to sarcasm but I was surprised at how she drew a complete blank on even the most common phrases,

However despite my small qualm which may or may not be founded since I have never personally met someone with this syndrome I really enjoyed this novel.
I laughed out loud several times and I was really invested in all of the characters,

Really entertaining read/,

Note: I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review,
This was a great read ! The Girl from I, T. begins when Alice is trying to get a new job, This is just another one in a long line of jobs that she seems to get fired from, She can't exactly help herself, but she tries, Alice is a whole lot different then most people, and when she finds out she has cancer her whole life gets turned upside down, But hopefully with the help of family and friends, she may be able to get past all of her differences and illness to just enjoy her life for once.

This story was hilarious, and beautiful! I loved the relationship between Alice and all of her friends and family, And I loved Anthony and Alice together! The only downside to the story was I wish I could have felt more emotion from the characters, not just Alice, I get why we didn't see too much from her, but I was hoping we could get a little more from the rest of them,

Other than that this story has romance, and deals with a unique woman who has breast cancer, It was very inspiring, and I loved it! I look forward to more stories like this from this author! Alice Morgan has a problem, When something good happens she never fails to talk her way out of it, She can't help it she just likes to talk, Ask anyone in the long line of her previous boyfriends and employers, Then, when she thinks things are finally looking up, she discovers she has breast cancer, Of course, as could only happen to Alice, immediately after finding out, she's offered a new job where meets a man she thinks might be the one, Should she tell him about it Or just call in sick a lot Unfortunately, it looks like things might get a little complicated, . .

The Girl from I, T. is a romantic comedy exploring human resolve in the face of adversity the hope we all have that if you fight hard enough, something wonderful will happen, But, somehow, it's always in a completely unexpected way, Book Basics

"I have breast cancer.
Not in both though. " She pointed to her right breast and said, "This one is still awesome, it's this one that's gone off the reservation, But I'm telling you, the one that's good is still very nice, "

This was a bit different than my normal read, A bit lighter on the romance than I normally read although there is still a love story to be had here

But, I LOVED it,

I loved Alice, in fact adored her, She is a great character, As I say, there is romance in here, and I liked Anthony too as a character, and was pleased how the story went there, It is very much a slow build up on the romance side of things,

But this is all about Alice and her quirks and personality and how she battles something awful, She is not good in social situations, has a mild from of Asperger's and tends to be blunt and honest to a fault,

Given the subject manner, the book is not a heavy angsty read, It is quirky and funny and has you rooting for Alice,

A greatstars, What a fantastic character, I found myself caught up in Alice's world, and wishing that I could be a little like her, I enjoyed this book from cover to cover, A look at a very serious issue, but made enjoyable with likable characters, a bit of eccentricity, some comedy and a touch of romance, fabulous awesomeness! thank you Mojofiction, I laughed, I cried, I laughed some more, . . wonderful! I was born in the great state of Colorado yeah, thats right, I thought it was great BEFORE they legalized certain plant based substances, I moved around the Midwest before finally landing in Chicago, I could talk about all the writing stuff, but we all like to read and write around here, So heres some random factoids, I love the outdoors: hiking, biking, whatever, its better than video games which I kind of like, too, Ive ran a Spartan race, for which my knees did not thank me, but which inspired a small part of the main character in my latest novel, I like to geek out playing board games like Ticket to Ride or Munchkin, I listen to NPR, and I like Austin, TX, because, crowded or not, Barton Springs is the greatest place to swim.
