Its been awhile since Ive read a book from Christine Bell, Picking up Dirty Deal reminded me why I love her, The first page had me laughing and set the pace for a nice, steamy comfort read,
Serena Elliott is part owner of Love Will Find a Way, a matchmaking service, Her partner, Grace Love, is convinced that Bryan Metcalf will make the perfect spokesperson for the company, But Grace has over extended her approaching limit, Bryan now runs from her and her phone calls, Grace convinces Serena that winning an evening with Bryan is her last chance to do her pitch,
Bryan Metcalf gets tricked by his sister, Quinn to fill in at the last minute to be a bachelor up for auction at a charity event she planned.
Not only does the Adam and Eve theme leave little for his costume, he discovers that his crazy ex is in the audience and bidding on him.
Serena ultimately wins the evening with Bryan and makes a deal that he will be their spokesperson, in exchange for her being his fake girlfriend, to keep the crazy ex away.
There is no denying that these two are attracted to each other, They both had less than desirable childhoods that have resulted in them not believing in relationships, They just never thought that a fake relationship turned real friendship could lead to more than they expected or knew they wanted,
Dirty Deal is one of those books you arent going to want to put down, Christine continues to write books filled with humor and characters you cant help but love, Im really looking forward to the next book in the series,

In this addition to the Perfectly Matched Series we have the second half of the match making duo, Serena, who is not a fan of love amp relationships, unlike her partner Grace.
We originally met both in the first story Dirty Trick, Serena though is the brawn behind the love brain, Then walks out on stage is Bryan in desperate need of saving from the crazy ex, He's a scared male from past over clingy exes and in no way setting his sights on the long term especially since he's heading back out in a couple of weeks.
They instantly connect believing in no relationship/no love fake boyfriend amp girlfriend scenario, hoping that they can both benefit from the no strings thing, Of course faking it never leads nothing and we get taking along for the ride to having both of their hearts invested, The story is easy to read and just as easy to like, Two things I know I can always count on from a Christine Bell book Funny and Sexy, Always. Dirty Deal does not disappoint in either instance! In fact all of the characters in Dirty Deal are not only funny but are also a little crazy in some way.
Well, except for Bryan. He is the sanest of the bunch and is merely a victim of women being head over heels in love with him, Poor guy.
He seemed stable and like a good guy, Maybe all he needed was a stable, good girl to wash the Piper taste from his mouth, A man like him, all tall and muscular with an MD and a military background He was tailormade for girls to fall in love with, Hot, but also pretty funny, and weirdly magnetic,
Serena's job is to charm Bryan into being a spokesperson for the match making service she works for, She has her work cut out for her, that's for sure, even though the chemistry between the two of the is SMOKIN' hot, Holy crap! Their first time "together" is ridiculously hot, I know, I said HOT already but really, that's the best word to explain it,
I loved the give and take in their conversations and they just really worked well together!
"I'm pretty impressed, Doc," she purred, squeezing his biceps and wiggling her eyebrows.
"You sure are fit. "
He leveled a wink at her, "Welcome to the gun show, "
She threw her head back and groaned, "Ugh, please tell me you don't use that line, Wait. " she gaped at him in mock horror,
"Is that the move"
He played along, "It's part one, yeah. You like"
She ducked her head low and gave his arm a sharp nip, "Actually, I kinda do. "
See That's what I love about this series, It's fun and easy read, Serena didn't have any huge issues that drove me crazy, sure there were obstacles, But I really loved this book,

Bryan's sister Q cons him into an auction and Serena wins a date with him, Serena is trying to get Bryan to be the face of her matchmaking business, Bryan keeps dodging Serena's partner Grace until the auction, Serena devises a plan that will help them both out, Bryan does the ads and Serena poses as his fake girlfriend, Little do these two know that there are outside forces at work and these two can't fight them, By posing as Bryan's girlfriend they get to know each other and are knocking down the walls that keep everyone else out, Serena pours her heart out to Bryan and he freaks, Bryan has to decide if he wants Serena or his old life, Really enjoyed this book and am looking forward to more in this series! Bryan and Serena, What starts out as a charity auction date turns into something much more than either one is ready for, Serena is afraid of commitment and Bryan is afraid of attracting another stalker and not living up to the promise he made his late father,
The way the two of them fight the attraction is quite hilarious, And the sex is oooh la la, First time on the beach, Well that was enough to make both of them not able to forget,
I like the way the author managed to put the two together without making them commit, It was also a pretty awesome the way she had Serena say she was ready for a commitment, Of course Bryan the jerk messed that up, But the way he manages to make it up to Serena is pretty sweet,
This is a good quick love story to read, I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review, Serena owns part of a matchmaking service, She works with her best friend, Her partner in crime has been trying to get Bryan Metcalf who is a sexy army doctor to do some ad campagning for her, Bryan wants nothing to do with that or the match making business,
Then one night his sister cons him into being a bachlor for auction and he is forced to go out with Serena who works her charm and they agree to a trade.
She goes with him to some family functions he is attending on leave, and he does the ad pictures for her, Little did they know that would lead to much more,
Loved this book, It was cute, funny, and had everything going for it, Looking for any other books that might come up from this author,

Although I've had her on my TBR list for quite some time, I received this as an ARC so I decided to start with this,
And I definitely was not disappointed at all, If you're looking for a quick fun, flirty and sexy read, Dirty Deal is the perfect book for you,

Bryan Metcalf is simply done with insane, won'ttakeahint women, especially from his exes, No more relationships, Nada. He's done with being threatened to have his car run off a cliff or being stalked twenty fourseven, But his sister thinks he needs to settle down, Yes, she just doesn't understand the terror of being clung on to, So when he witnesses a bidding battle between a feisty blonde and his insane exgirlfriend, he's terrified,
A business proposition and hot encounters occur, and now Bryan can't get enough of Serena, Serena gets Bryan as the face of the company, and Bryan gets a fake girlfriend, just to get all his exes to back off, especially Piper the stalker.
Serena is just the most cutest, hilarious character ever, She's funny and incredibly witty and most of all, is not interested in a relationship, Just the perfect woman for Bryan, He's leaving in two weeks anyway, so I suppose a little fling won't hurt, NOT. But Serena's trying to fight the feelings, telling herself that sleeping with him should be the last thing she should do,
"You're telling me that you don't think you want to sleep with me again, That doesn't mean we're not going to, It just means that you're fooling yourself, "
The reason why I couldn't give this book a full five was because of Bryan, Why He may be hot and sexy and can definitely make you smile, but when women start getting clingy and being all serious He's ready to bolt.
