So richtig entscheiden, welche Geschichte mir nun am besten gefiel, kann ich mich gar nicht denn sie sind doch sehr unterschiedlich und alle einfach sehr schön

This is a collection of five shortstories which were all previously released as bonus chapters in Fullmoon wo Sagashite, The Gentlemen's Alliance Cross and Sakura Hime.
In other words, most if not all of these

stories are familiar ones, However, I'm quite glad to have them in a compiled volume as I was never a big fan of bonus stories in the middle of an actual series I often skip them as they take out of the stories I was actually trying to read.


I think the art immediately gives away in which volumes they were previously printed, Much like her previous shortstory collect ShortTempered Melancholic, it is nice how one can see the art style changing and evolving.
However, unlike the latter, I think the actual stories are a little weak, Not bad but not as good as her earlier shortstories,

Ginyu Meika is the story of a young pianist attending a music school who is about to participate in a competition.
He is the only student who was assigned a composition rather than being given the choice of one.
While practising, a girl shows up claiming she is a fairy who has answered his call,

It's cute but I find it a little farfetched and it uses one of my most disliked manga tropes: personality change based on whether or not they are wearing glasses.


A Girl called Eve This one is a little special in that I first thought it's awfully superficial until I read Tanemura's comment about why she wrote this story.
Tanemura explains that most shoujo manga tell about wallflowers and their problems she wanted to turn that upside down by writing about a super pretty girl instead.
I don't think pretty leads in shoujo manga are that uncommon, but I see her point knowing that made the story more interesting.
So essentially, it's a story about a girl named Eve and how she deals with always being judged by her lovely appearance.


Umi no Chikyuugi Nocturne is easily my favourite of this collection, It's a cute story about a teacher who discovers a student always shows up at school during the night.
It turns out that the student has an issue of sorts that keeps her coming back, But also, she confesses her love for the teacher, The resolution is a little farfetched but all in all, I found it the most realistic of these in the way that the teacher seriously thinks about the consequences that come with getting involved with a student.


Vampire Rose is a little silly and on the comedic side nothing wrong with that! It feels like something that could have easily been a longer series as I see the potential for the plot and characters.
It is about a girl who is constantly being asked to join the school's occult club which she always turns down as she doesn't believe in ghost stories.
Of course, she does end up getting involved and is off to investigate the haunted library,

The Coin of Maple Rose is such a cute story! And very different from other works of Tanemura's.
In the comment section, she explains that this story was drawn for younger readers, It shows it's a very fluffy story with, to be honest, quite little plot, It is about angels and how one, in particular, Lady Rose, wishes to visit the world of humans.
This is also a story that has the potential for more I wouldn't mind reading a longer version of this! Her art style is also different in that she uses much thicker linework than usual.
Not sure why she did it, but it looks great, Inhalt

Der Ozean im Globus Nocturne: Diese Geschichte thematisiert Liebe, Beziehungen und Altersunterschied, Ein Mädchen schlafwandelt und findet immer wieder den Weg in die Schule, wo der Lehrer sie erwartet.
Eine typische Geschichte zwischen Lehrer und Schülerin,

Vampire Rose: Hierbei handelt es sich um eine Vampirgeschichte, Ein junges Mädchen spricht einen Zauber, wodurch Rose erwacht wird und sich auch an dem Körper des Mädchens bedienen kann.
Ein Junge, der sich später als Vampirjäger zeigt, verliebt sich in das Mädchen, Gemeinsam bezwingen sie Rose.

The Angelic Coin of Maple Rose: Rose ist ein Engelsmädchen, welches von Partys und dem Himmelreich gelangweilt ist.
Sie würde gerne auf die Erde zu den Menschen für einen Tag, Diesen kleinen Ausflug unternimmt sich mit ihrem besten Freund,

Arina zeichnet einfach immer so wunderschöne Cover,

Meinung

Ich bin leider kein wirklicher Fan von Kurzgeschichten, Ich finde die Handlungen immer so schnell und abrupt abgehandelt, Arina schafft es zwar immer wieder mich mit der einen oder anderen Kurzgeschichte zu faszinieren, So auch in diesem Band, Mir hat Kanon“ sehr gut gefallen, Der Rest hat mich leider mittelmäßig überzeugt, Und die letzte Geschichte mit den Engeln war definitiv für eine sehr junge Zielgruppe gedacht, Es war zwar putzig, aber hat mich leider nicht angesprochen, Aber ich fand, dass jede Kurzgeschichte von Arina hervorragend gezeichnet wurde, Sie schafft es einfach immer wieder ihren eigenen Zeichenstil in den Mangas umzusetzen und dennoch die Charaktere immer wieder verschieden wirken zu lassen.
